Rules: The winner of the match will be entered into consideration for the LAW World Openweight Championship.
Tonight was the match Nashi was preparing for the most. The pink haired Idol would finally be at LAW APEX. She had face the likes of Shenna Khan, Janella Johnson and Cecilia Lombard to reach this, and while they were tough, Nashi would be facing the hardest person she could….. her best friend. It’s no secret her and Yukino Fuyumi have been best friends since they were child and have fought beforehand. What made this different was that, this was a match where if one of them loses, then they will be disqualified from reaching the open weight belt.

The Idol Dragons made it their goal to reach the top together. So preventing the other would hurt both of them to their very core. Even with all this to unpack, both also made a promise that regardless of the circumstances, the pair also made a promise to support each other through thick and thin. Nashi let out a sigh after that realization only to then find out she 2 minutes before she was called down! She quickly grabbed her ring gear and put it on. Once she was called she walked through the backstage waving to backstage workers before making her way to behind the entrance ramp


“THE FOLLOWING CONEST IS A BEST 2/3 FALL COUNTS ANYWHERE FOR CONSIDERATION INTO WINNING THE LAW OPENWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!…… Coming to the ring first from TOYKO, JAPAN! 5’5,weighing in at 155…. THE FIERY DRAGON…… NASHI DRAGNEEL!!!!!


A single light came down on something covered head to toe with a pink robe like what a boxer would wear. Then a hand came up in the center and removed it showing the Fiery Dragon herself! The crowd erupted in cheers as she tossed it into the audience so someone could keep it as a souvenir. The giant screened showed a video of a fire dragon and an ice dragon locked in combat as Nashi’s music blared against the attire stadium.


Nashi stood at the top of the ramp soaking in all the cheers and applause from the crowd. After a minute she began to walk down slowly before beginning to run giving as much high fives to the crowd before walking up the steel steps. She placed one hand on the middle rope before putting her right leg over it and would duck to get body into the ring. She finished by crossing her arms striking her signature pose before going to her corner waiting for Yukino.

Yukino was nervous. No one could blame her, really. She was only heading into the biggest match of her career to date, one that could shape her future as she knew it. If she won, she stood a chance at being crowned LAW's first World Heavyweight Champion - an honor like no other. If she lost, then her name would be stricken from the runnings. There was a lot at stake...but that wasn't why Yukino was so nervous. What made her so nervous was that her opponent for this match...was her best friend, Nashi Dragneel.

They had been together since childhood, they had performed on stage together as idols, and they had formed a tag team that was taking LAW by storm. When the two of them reuninted in the promotion, they both knew that their ultimate goal was to some day be a champion. With Apex, they had the opportunity to take the most esteemed prize in the entire company. But only one of them could take it.

It was no mistake that it was this way. Kira Kusangi had called Yukino out to such a challenge, knowing it would be a psychological blow to know that if she won, if she achieved the greatness she had dreamed of, she would be depriving her best friend a chance at the same. Yukino had trained for this moment; she had dedicated herself to growing stronger than ever. But she didn't know if anything in the world could prepare her for her greatest fear. What if she held back? What if now, when the world was watching, when more was riding on her victory than ever, she wouldn't find it in her to do it, out of fear of what it would do to her best friend?

Yukino lowered her head with a sigh. If nothing else...there was only one thing she could do. She had to give it her all. No matter what.

"AAAAAND her opponent!! At 5'2, weighing in at 160 pounds, ALSO from Tokyo, Japan...the Winter Dragon...YUKINOOOO FUUUUYUMI!!!"

The cheers that came up with Yukino's entrance were just as wild as Nashi's - both girls had their fair share of fans, and now, no one could say for sure who seemed most likely to win this match. Nashi had always been the more spirited and vigorous of the two, but Yukino had surprised some viewers with her command of counters and joint locks that had won her a few matches of her own on her way to the top. And their entrances were just as spectacular!

Her arrival was heralded by a cloud of white glitter falling through the air like snow. Rather than the furry robe Nashi wore, Yukino had come to the top of the ramp dressed in a kimono, her arms folded and her head down. But when the white-haired girl looked back up, her face was fixed in a look of determination and purpose. And then, to the sounds of gasps, she tossed her own robe aside - in the same motion that she swung upward with a sword in her hand, the same sword that had been given to her by her childhood crush Yusuke when they encountered each other after many years!

When she heard all the cheers, Yukino couldn't help but smile a little wider. She could recognize a fair few faces here - Carol Barlet, the woman who had trained her in wrestling to begin with and who had authorized a title shot at her own promotion's tag belts, was there judging the match, and she looked to Yukino with a proud smile. The announcer was none other than Misa Otomura, the Idol Dragons' manager, who winked to Yukino as she approached the ring. They all saw her. They all believed in her. Inside, her heart was pounding, and the butterflies were fluttering in her stomach. A part of her was worried she wouldn't be able to live up to all their hype. But at the very least...she would do her best.

Coming to the ring with plenty of waves and high-fives herself, Yukino stopped for a few poses with the sword, slashing it through the air. When she came to the ring, she passed the sword over to the crew before she climbed up the steps, taking one last look back over her shoulder at the crowd as she posed with her hand behind her head. Then, though, she rolled over the ropes - and she came to look across her, locking eyes with Nashi.

She took in a gulp, and her fears bubbled back to the surface louder than ever. What if she froze up? What if she made a mistake because she was too nervous? Worse yet...what if she hurt Nashi, or endangered their friendship? But...Yukino had pledged to give it her all, as though her very life depended on it. No matter what stood in her way...she'd push past it, just as much as she would any offense from an opponent. She took in a deep breath. She had to be ready.

"Nashi..." she began, moving closer with her head bowed to her friend. "I just want to say this once...no matter what happens, we'll still be best friends, okay?"

Nashi was stretching, waiting for Yukino to come out and once she heard Misa talk it caught her attention. She stopped stretching and stood back into the corner of the turnbuckle wanting to see what amazing entrance Yukino had in store to wow the audience!

The lights went out and she smiled seeing the snowflake glitter come down to represent her theme. Then came out Yukino with a dang good looking kimono, and then Yukino removed her kimono while swinging up a fierce looking katana”WOAH! YOU GOOD YUKINO!” Nashi shouted, jumping in pure excitement as if she was a member of the audience and not her opponent. Yukino was always the shy one of the two but now seeing her fully come into her own, and looking attractive and badass at the same time made the pinklette smile. Then Yukino got into the ring she was sent back to reality realizing that she was still Yukino’s opponent.

Nashi stood back straight wanting to look proper for Yukino. Then Yukino bowed which in turn made Nashi bow out of respect. When she asked the question, Nashi rose her head up and with a cheeky smile said”off course! Why else wouldn’t we be, nothing could never make me hate you” She said wanting to cheer up her friend. The idol went over and gave Yukino a handshake as a sign of good sportsmanship which made the crowd burst into cheers. Nashi then whispered”besides now we differently gotta do a photoshoot with that katana of your’s” She giggled teasingly before heading to the corner.


DING DING DING!!!


The bell rings and just like that Nashi would go to the center of the ring and put her arms out to offer a lockup for Yukino.

Yukino wanted to send a message with this entrance - she wanted the world to know that she was going to rise to this challenge, no matter what it took. She was sure this was going to be among the most pivotal matches of her career, and she wanted to make a spectacle worthy of it, putting forth all the production values she had put into her concerts and her cosplay into doing herself justice when she entered the ring. More importantly, though, she wanted to remain focused and serious. She knew she had a daunting battle ahead of her, but she wanted to be ready for it, and she wanted everyone to know she wouldn't back down.

That being said, when she heard Nashi cheer her on from the ring, even when the two of them were about to go head to head in a pitched duel with more on the line than ever...Yukino couldn't help but crack a smile. When she came to the ring, hearing Nashi's encouragement, her smile could only grow wider. She let out a sigh of relief, enough to make her body visibly relax. No matter what happened in this match, no matter what they did to each other, and no matter who won...she and Nashi would still be best friends. That, she knew, was what their bond meant. That no matter what they put each other through, it wouldn't keep them apart. Yukino was already sure it would take more than this match to drive the two of them apart...but those fears were still there, the worst-case scenario always looming over her head. But hearing it from Nashi herself was enough to make Yukino breathe easy. She nodded her head, her fists clenching as she sank into a stance. Now, she didn't have anything to worry about. And that meant nothing would hold her back!

"Thanks, Nashi...I really don't know where I'd be without you," she said. She blushed a little harder at the comment about her sword. "Oh, I guess I should tell you about how I have this, huh..."

But there was no time for standing around reflecting on the past - the bell rang, and Yukino knew it was time for the match to begin! Balling one hand into a fist, she planted it against the palm of the other, readying herself for battle. A confident smirk split her face as she looked back up and met Nashi's eyes. "...but that'll have to be after this match! For now...let's show our fans what we're made of!!"

Even before Nashi and Yukino had linked hands, the fans were already bursting into cheers and applause for what was sure to be a thrilling bout awaiting them! Yukino saw Nashi's offer, and she was eager to answer it. She took a few steps closer before she went to grab Nashi by the hands and push at her with all her strength. Her teeth clenched and her muscles bulged as she put all the force she could into trying to steer her opponent backward, her fingers wrapping around Nashi's with white-knuckle force.. Even in these first few seconds of the match, Yukino wanted to prove she wouldn't be dominated!

Nashi was more excited then ever. Even before they went to face each other both of them had to put on some weight to make them more stronger for their future matches. Now the idol duo will get to show their new strength in their Apex Match tonight! Nashi too would send her fist into the palm of her other hand and as Yukino began to speak, Nashi giggled”don’t worry will talk about it backstage after we’re done” She playfully winked to their friend before shaking her head to let her hair loose.


When the bell rang, Nashi could see the nervousness in Yukino eye’s. Then once they were locked in a lock up she could feel every muscle Yukino gained as a result from her training.”we both got stronger! But I’m still clever” She giggled with a light smirk. Nashi went to clench on tightly to Yukino’s hand and if successful would aim to pull her around to use an Irish whip to send her into the turnbuckle!

Yukino nodded her head in response to Nashi, and she couldn't help but smile just a little bit. No matter who won, no matter what happened, they were the same old friends they had always been - after this was all over, they'd go back and catch up with all that had been going on in the meantime, just like they always had. It was reassuring to Yukino to know that she'd always have Nashi on her side, and it reminded her of the bond they shared; the bond nothing could break.

But the time for catching up would come later. Now, only one thing mattered - and at the sound of the bell, Yukino's face grew serious. She had a match to win, and she was going to do everything she could in order to succeed!

Gritting her teeth, the white-haired girl leaned in closer, shoving at Nashi's grasp to try and steer her back. It was well apparent to everyone that both girls had trained, their lean bodies growing more muscular. All of that added force was pressing into Nashi, threatening to steer her backward. But Nashi had grown equally strong. Even if she didn't have as much weight on her as Yukino did, she was still able to root herself to the ground, pushing back with just enough force to return them to the same position they'd started in. And from there, Nashi was able to grab Yukino by the hand, breaking the lockup in order to whip her straight across the ring!

Suddenly, Yukino found her legs pumping at the air beneath her as she took off running. At first, she gasped - Nashi's reversal had been so quick, and so smoothly executed, that she hardly had any time to prepare. But she shook that out of her head. Yukino knew she was better than this. She'd trained, she'd gotten stronger. She wasn't going to let anything like this hold her back for long. Especially not when she was just getting started!

Just as the Winter Idol was about to crash, she jumped up, kicking out with her legs to plant the soles of her feet against the turnbuckle! If she could do that, Yukino would push off the corner post, attempting to throw herself backward through the air to crash into Nashi with a senton!

Typically when engaged with a lockup, Nashi would aim for a knee to the abdomen or a headbutt. What made her not do it this time was, Yukino was just like Nashi, just starting out compared to veterans she’s used that tactic on. In Nashi’s heart of hearts, she couldn’t bare to do that to her best girl. Instead after a tight lockup she sent the winter idol into the turnbuckle with an Irish whip. Nashi had plan to follow suit with a hip attack, but at the last second, Yukino jumped on the turnbuckle and jumped back aiming to hit Nashi!


The Fire Dragon was shocked but at the same time impressed with Yukino’s acrobatics. The idol soon smirked knowing what to do, she aimed to move forward to get out of the senton splash crash spot. If she successful she would aim to catch Yukino with her left hand holding her legs, while the right holding her upper back. Nashi looked down at Yukino and said”nooo hard feelings!” She said with her teeth gritting as she aimed to lift her up for an over the head suplex!

The match had just begun, and already, the fans were astounded at the action they were watching unfold. It seemed as though the two idols were on perfectly even footing when it came to skill level - for every move one pulled off, the other already had a counter ready! The momentum passed between them like clockwork - first Nashi countered Yukino's shove by pulling her into an Irish whip, then Yukino launched herself toward her on the rebound, only for Nashi to catch her in midair! Each time the advantage shifted, the fans let out a cheer, and they were growing louder by the minute. Everyone was on the edge of their seat, eagerly awaiting the moment the first blow would land!

At first Yukino gasped as Nashi grabbed her in mid-fall, finding herself held in place. But she could hear the cheers of the crowd, and she smiled a little wider. She was eager to keep the action going, and she knew just what to do. As Nashi lifted her higher, Yukino's legs swept out to swing lower, attempting to grab the pink-haired girl's head with her thighs. If that was successful, Yukino would roll to the side, attempting to bowl Nashi over with a hurricanrana!

"Oh, none taken!" the Winter Idol called back. "You hear them cheer? All our fans want to see us do our best out there - so if we have to fight, let's give them what they came for!" She might not have been thrilled about the matchup - but the two of them had an esteemed career working together as idols, and they could carry that through to here!

Nobody could believe what was happening now. The match had just started and instead a fight to win, it was a fight to see who could hit the other first! The crowd was on the edge of their seats waiting to see who’d land the first blow. Everytime it seemed like one of them was about to it the other it felt like the other read their mind and knew how to counter the other.

Nashi thought she had it right where she wanted, but at the last second Yukino busted out a hurricanrana! Nashi was sent down to the mat rolling in pain. She grabbed her neck but when she looked up the crowd was in silence. The match had only been going for a good a minute and finally someone was hit. Nashi stood and looked at Yukino”that was just the beginning!” She shouted as she charged at her friend aiming to go for a running elbow to the chin!

It looked as though the first successful blow would go to Yukino, as she threw her legs around Nashi's head and rolled to the side, bowling her pink-haired friend into the canvas. The constant back-and-forth action of the match had built the tension to a boiling point, and everyone was waiting for the moment it would all be released - now that it had, as soon as the fans realized what they were seeing, the arena erupted in cheers! Even Carol had something to say, sitting up straighter in her seat with a grin on her face. "And there you go, folks! These idols are working so hard, we finally got the first hit in the match!" Though Nashi and Yukino might not have had much of a background in wrestling, Carol had worked with the two of them in training them for this match, and she had seen their potential firsthand. Now they were bringing it to the forefront, and she couldn't be more proud!

Yukino rolled aside, going a short distance away from Nashi before she got to her back and looked up. When she heard how loud the fans were cheering for her, she cracked a smile - she had sworn to put her best foot forward for this match, and so far, she was certainly living up to expectations! But just because Nashi had taken the first hit of the match didn't mean the momentum was about to die down. As soon as she got back up, she was ready to throw herself right into the action. And just moments after Yukino rose to her feet, Nashi was already after her!

Seeing the incoming blow, the Winter Idol attempted to raise her hands to block, but it was too late. Nashi's elbow went flying outward in an arc, clocking Yukino upside the jaw! Crying out in pain, she went stumbling back; it was only by landing against the ropes that she was able to keep herself from losing her balance. At first she stood there, rubbing at her jaw to try and dull the pain...but she was just as determined to keep the action going. And when she looked back at Nashi, her eyes narrowed with determination. She pushed herself against the ropes to draw back on their momentum, then sprung herself forward to whip her arm out with a chop right across Nashi's chest! "Haaah!!"
