Kicking in Water: Cleo Hulbury vs Videl Satan

Cleo was an innovator, someone that was good at recognizing what they had and utilizing it to maximum effectiveness against her opposition. In this case trying to get up to a standing position before her opponent would have been difficult and potentially leave her open to further attacks. At best she and Videl would be in a neutral position where neither had the advantage over the other.

Instead Cleo made the most of her downed position to throw her long legs up, wrapping them around her opponent's waist and catching her with a bodyscissors! While that in of itself was success though Cleo did have one major problem. That being that Videl was still up and despite trying to twist and turn to pull the martial artist down with her she didn't have the leverage to accomplish this.

Something that Videl would see to make the most of when she grabbed her thighs. "Hey what are- Whoa!" Before Cleo could finish her surprised sentence the model found herself pulled and dragged, picking up momentum as the lightweight began swinging her around in circles! "Noooooooo!" Cleo yelled, the spin amplifying her voice as Cleo's whole world became the perspective from inside a washing machine.

Naturally this cause her legs to loosen and fall from Videl's waist which in turn meant Videl's grip would fall away leaving Cleo to get sent clear across the ring. "Ugh... Oh god..." Cleo said to herself, as even after the spin had stopped everything was still spinning from her perspective, making her feel more than a little nauseous as she tried to push herself up on her hands... only to fall right back down from a lack of balance.

Videl knew that she was taking a risk when she chose to go for a Giant Spin when she was the proverbial David to Cleo's Goliath. But with Videl already in a rough spot, even the risk falling through would have been rather unlikely to but her in a spot that was significantly worse than the bodyscissor that she had already found herself in. So, the martial artist went for it.

And the risk that Videl took paid off in spades. In a couple seconds, Videl had regained control and dominance as she spun Cleo in circles around the ring until the model lost her grip on the bodyscissors. Then Videl threw Cleo threw the air until she was caught by the ropes, where she then rebounded off and landed in a heap, groaning and dizzy on the mat.

Even when Cleo tried to get up, she was so disoriented from the spin that all the model could do was to fall right back down. Which meant that Videl had a massive opportunity available for her to exploit. Videl would charge at Cleo's vulnerable form, then turn her body around before leaping backwards through the air towards Cleo. Then Videl would twist her body, snapping her leg down and around onto the top of Cleo's head for her Moonsault Kick

If that connected, Videl would cry out, "I'm ending this now!" Landing into a crouch with her body twisted in on itself, Videl would switch from kicking down to kicking up, looking to send Cleo to La La Land early with her Rainbow Storm square onto Cleo's chin. Snapping the model's head back, and sending her crumpled to the mat for either the KO or the pin depending on how fast the ref stepped in.

Cleo gasped and groaned softly after that giant swing, the dizziness and disorientation not having left her just yet despite no longer being spun. 'Damn how did a pipsqueak like that even manage something like that?' Cleo thought to herself, now even holding her stomach given the sheer nausea that came over her.

Still just cause Cleo wasn't able to get her bearings and stand yet didn't mean she couldn't think at all. Quite the contrary in fact, the vertigo she was experiencing right now was making her all the more conscious of how vulnerable and in trouble she was, she needed to figure something out and fast.

Hearing the vibrations of foot steps against the mat Cleo at least knew that her opponent was coming in hot and likely wouldn't' be forgiving with her offense now that she had such a prime opportunity against Cleo "Fuck this." Cleo hissed to herself as she pushed off the mat and rolled away as fast as her body would carry her as she aimed to roll clear through outside of the ring and to the outside.

If successful in her escape attempt Cleo would make sure to grab and hold onto the edge of the apron and bottom rope as she fell, using both to keep herself upright despite the lingering vertigo that hung over her. One bright side to her escape was that Cleo would now be able to see Videl post crash and burning on her failed attempt to hit her, something that cause Cleo to smirk smugly as her vision finally settled back to normal.

As Videl flew through the air and swung her foot down, instead of connecting into the crown of Cleo's skull and setting up the match ending finisher, Videl's foot cut through the air until her heel struck the mat and bounced off. "Wha?!" she gasped as she fell down onto her back. The unexpected impact throwing off the martial artist's ability to land properly on her feet.

"Quick recovery," Videl said with a tone both impressed and frustrated as she stood up. She figured that Cleo probably didn't really see and then register Videl's attack coming and dodge it, more so it was likely that the model instinctively knew she had to move from that spot and did so. With how dazed Cleo still looked, only now seeming to fully come back to her senses, Videl reasoned that it was highly unlikely Cleo was mentally there enough to avoid her attack any other way.

Wanting to keep up her aggressive offense, Videl would charge at Cleo and go for a baseball slide in an attempt to take out the model's arms that she was using to help keep herself upright. If Videl succeeded, she would follow up by pushing herself further forward, just short of enough distance to exit the ring herself, and try to plant her heel into Cleo's face with a kick.

Cleo groaned groggily still on the outside, holding the ropes and silently thanking the stars she had narrowly avoided what looked to have been a nasty move that would have surely taken her out. 'Dammit. I can't let this ugly little bitch get one over on me just cause she spun me around!' Cleo thought to herself with a soft growl before looking up.. and immediately seeing Videl sliding towards her hitting her arms and knocking them from the ropes!

"Gah!" Cleo yelled from the sharp pain now going up her arms and glaring at Videl... right as the martial artist shoved herself forward and swung her leg up, making Cleo's eyes go wide as on instinct her hands came up and.. managed to just barely catch Videl's heel as the sole of her foot lay a half centimeter from Cleo's face.

Needing to blink for a second to realize what had happened a smug smirk soon crossed the model's face. "You are SO lucky that didn't hit." Cleo growled out before turning and pulling Videl's leg around to violently smash the side of her knee into the edge of the ring apron!

Videl's slide tackle managed to catch Cleo's arms as intended, which should have stunned the model for long enough for Videl's follow up kick to connect. But once more, raw instinct save Cleo once again. Defending herself out of a panic, the model's hands shot up and caught Videl's foot a fraction of a second before it hit its mark and struck Cleo clean in her nose.

Cleo made certain to take advantage of her good fortune as well, taking Videl's leg that was now in her grip and slamming it into the hard edge of the ring apron. "AH!" Videl cried out as a sharp pain shot up her leg. "I kinda feel like that's my line, don't cha think?!" Videl spat back as she writhed, hands gripping her knee.

But Videl would be beset by another stroke of misfortune. When she was on the ground in pain, her body rolled over. And she was already close enough to the edge of the ring that Videl slipped under the bottom rope and dropped to the floor below. "Woa- ugh!" Videl began a yelp of shock before it was cut off by a grunt of pain. Worse, she now literally lay at Cleo's feet.

Cleo had been caught flush by the giant swing and very nearly taken out of the match all together by Videl had she not rolled out of the ring. That having been really the only stroke of good fortune Cleo had so far since Videl took control. Something that Cleo would be damn sure to change in the next few minutes, especially now that she had, albeit barely, caught Videl's leg and swung it down on the ring apron to damage it.

Better yet the girl had rolled out of the ring and now lay at her feet, practically free for the taking! Smirking Cleo would smirk, bending down to grab hold of the sides of her opponent's head to force her up to her feet and force her head between her legs. "No its my line, just like this payback is." Cleo said before lifting Videl up until she was on Cleo's shoulders!

If done, then Cleo would waste no time turning, and then throw herself and Videl forward to slam Videl's back into the ring apron with a brutal powerbomb onto the edge of the ring!

Videl knew that she was in big trouble before she even hit the ground, but that didn't mean that she could do much about it. Cleo grabbed Videl, and then the model lifted the martial artist up onto her shoulders. "No! NO! GAAAH!" Videl cried out in panic and then pain as Cleo slammed her body back first into the hard edge where the ring apron met the mat.

For as much pain as Videl was in, she had actually gotten off rather light for now. Had Cleo been a step or two back and instead slammed Videl's head into the ring apron, it almost certainly would've been lights out for the martial artist. But with what Cleo did, Videl's head was caught by the bottom rope and bounced harmlessly off. Though admittedly, Videl took little solace in this with how much pain was currently shooting up her back.

"Ah... damnit!" Videl groaned as she rolled on her side, holding her back. Once more she found herself at Cleo's feet, on the floor outside of the ring. Know that she had to do something, Videl would try to lash out, though admittedly with a trick she had already pulled. The martial artist would try to shoot her legs out and use them to pull Cleo's legs out from underneath and trip her. Then use the opening to scurry back into the ring.

Cleo had now very clearly managed to secure her advantage in this match. Ironically stumbling to the outside from Videl's giant swing had turned out to be arguably the best thing for the model to do as she now was left looking down on Videl with a smug smirk on her face after powerbombing the girl into the ring apron.

"Aw poor you." Cleo said with faux concern in her voice before noticing Videl's legs moving, a flashback to earlier in the match immediately flashing before her eyes. 'This bitch.' Cleo thought to herself as she quickly stepped back with one leg while raising her other up before dropping it down on Videl's leg as it swung out towards her own!

"Did you really think you could use the same trick on me twice!" Cleo asked the martial artist indignantly while digging her heel into Videl's leg. Bending down Cleo would then aim to grab the girl's head and pull her up to her feet before rolling her back to the ring of her own accord, but making sure Videl would be on her stomach. If she did so without being interrupted Cleo would climb back on the apron herself before holding onto the top rope and pulling herself up and over it, vaulting over the ropes to try and come crashing down on Videl's back with a double foot stomp!

Unfortunately for Videl, it seemed as if Cleo had remembered the trick that the martial artist had pulled earlier in the match. Cleo recognized what Videl was going for, and not only dodged it, but countered. Stomping on the knee that she had already slammed into the ring apron, and digging her heel down into it. "AAGH!" cried out Videl as her knee suffered more and more at the hands of the model.

Videl would manage to get back into the ring, but she would not do so under her own power. Cleo dragged the martial artist up by her hair, earning another grunt of pain, and then tossing Videl back into the ring like a doll. Videl had time to get up, but her knee buckled on her when she put weight on it. This gave Cleo enough time to flatten Videl back into the mat with her aerial stomp.

"GAH!" Videl shouted as her body was crushed between Cleo's feet and the mat. Knowing that she couldn't keep letting herself get beat up like this, Videl tried to roll away before getting up, still retreating as she did so. But once she was up, assuming Cleo would pursue, Videl would lash out at the model with a straight kick at her midsection, hoping to catch her overextending.
