"Amazon" Alaina Sanders-Haines (C) Vs. Selene Sugar

Alaina moved in to try to grapple Selene, but the double axe handle to the jaw sent her reeling as the amazons stumbled and swayed! The second hammer strike to her head made her groan and wobble but the swaying amazon stayed up on her feet somehow! She looked wobbly, drawing Selene closer.

Once Selene was close enough Alaina let out a loud scream and spun looking to crush Selene with a discus clothesline!

Seeing Alaina rocked by the back-to-back double axe handles, Selene let out a satisfied huff and rolled her shoulders. Then she pounced at what she thought was a groggy Amazon. "Agk!.." Only for the Sweet Beast to get caught off-guard by a lariat, knocking her down on the floor. The painful reminder of the two Amabombs re-emerged though she kept her mind focused on the match. Shifting her body weight, she spun around and swung her leg with all her might to attempt to legsweep Alaina.

Alaina sent Selene down on her back and that was incredibly satisfying. The amazon loomed over only to be knocked down by the leg sweep landing hard on her side! Alaina shook her head and was determined not to let Selene take advantage even though both were down. Alaina scrambled over to Selena leaping atop her and trying to mount her foe while raining down hard punches onto the woman! Alaina was battering away at Selene as hard as she could determined to keep hammering away at her.

The referee was still in the ring and shaking their head. The match had standard rules but no one wanted a count out. Still they had just started the ten count, slowly beginning the march up to ten.

"ONE!"

Although Selene successfully sweeped her opponent's leg, her spinning maneuver also momentarily left her out of position. Before she could fully recover, Alaina was already back on the offensive, mounting the Sweet Beast and launching a volley of punches. She raised her forearms in time to block any punches aimed at her head though some slipped past her guard and bludgeoned her body. "Haha, gotta admit this is the most fun I've had in a match yet." Meanwhile, the referee continued the count.
"Two!.."
"Three!.."

Selene endured her foe's onslaught and waited for the opportunity to strike. When a window opened, she fired a swift jab right at Alaina's jaw. Should she be disoriented by this strike, the bronzette would grab the redhead by the shoulders and push her onto the ground, swapping places with her. From there, Selene returned the favor and unleashed an onslaught of punches of her own.

Alaina pounded away when Selena caught her off guard smashing her skull! "Oomph! Ngh!" Alaina grunted as she was rolled over and now on the bottom! It was her turn to cover up and endure a barrage of fast, powerful punches much easier said than done!

"FIVE!"

"SIX!"

Alaina kicked the ground in pain as she was covered up, even blocking still hurt given the power of Selene. The amazon grunted and groaned trying to get her legs up underneath the arms of Selene hoping to hook them and roll her back onto her shoulders! Alaina wasn't trying to roll her into a pinning position although she could have, the amazon was more interested in rolling Selene off her so they could rise to their feet. Alaina wanted to spin and extend her hand, this time trying to give a nod to the Japanese crowd of Aja Kong as she hoped to level Selene with a spinning backfist to the face!

"Seven!.."
Selene's eyes narrowed when she heard the refere reach the seven count. Nevertheless, she kept her focus laying down the beatdown on Alaina, bashing her arms she defended herself with as well as sneaking hard-hitting jabs to her sides. However, the Sweet Beast placed too much of her focus on what was in front of her; the Amazon's upper body.
"Eight!..."

"Wah?!" Selene yelped as she felt something hook her shoulders and threw her off. Thinking quickly, she rolled with her newfound momentum into a crouch before she jumped into a standing position. She raised her fists and started bouncing on the balls of her feet. Despite that, she didn't engage and instead maintained eye contact with Alaina. Suddenly, the challenger dash towards the ring and dove under the ropes. "Haha." She laughed. "Got carried away back there didn't we?"

Alaina swung but Selene didn't engage so she missed which left Selene running back into the ring first. Alaina knew that she was in a bad spot as she bolted to the ring herself knowing Selene would be standing when Alaina was sliding in. Selene's seemingly casual attitude towards everything was also bothering Alaina. It was like she wasn't on this womans radar and the match was just something to do. Alaina was going to teach her a lesson or two in humility if she could. "No, this is just standard business in a title match." The amazon did her best to move as quickly as she could hoping to spring up to her feet before Selene could move in!

If Alaina was successful she would try to grapple with Selene and lock her up trying to press Selene's back against the ropes so she could hammer her with some hard body punches before whipping her across the ring!

Selene backed up to give Alaina some space to enter the ring, an opportunity she seemingly took advantage of immediately. Her incensed response prompted the Sweet Beast to slightly raise a confused eyebrow, though she soon returned to her carefree demeanour. "Fun." She adopted her fighting posture and eagerly awaited the Amazon's next move. Seeing her move in, ostensibly to grapple, Selene moved in to meet the challenge. She locked arms with her opponent and flexed all of her muscles as she pushed against Alaina, directly contesting her strength.

Alaina was locked up with Selene feeling her push! Alaina stumbled back a step or two then shook her head letting out a loud scream as she exerted herself pushing Selene back! "You aren't going to win this one...." Alaina hissed as she looked to prove that she was the wrestling amazon, a powerhouse that punched above her already considerable weight! Alaina trembled and shook giving it her all as she was pushing back on Selene!

Although Selene foiled her opponent's attempts to push her back against the ropes, she didn't make any progress against Alaina either, leaving the two in a deadlock. However, the Bronzette felt the tide slowly turn against her, her strained muscles trembling while the redhead's strength remained unchanged and even seemed to have actually gotten stronger.

"Tch..." Selene's cheshire grin faltered when she felt her boots slide backwards on the canvas, even if it was only by a couple centimetres. Unwilling to be shown as the weaker wrestler, she attempted to break the grapple and jump backwards in the same motion, spinning around and thrusting her leg out as she did so for a rolling sobat aimed at Alaina's stomach.
