Packing it up (for Steed)
Suspended... That was the big word that Thereisa saw from the letter that she had received from the head office of LAW. She hasn't felt this feeling of dread in a long time as she figured that at best she would get a fine... but the "death penalty" of not being able to compete again in the LAW ring... That would make her final match will be the PPV when she takes on Arachne in a fall count anywhere match.
That crushing feeling of being denied her chance at reclaiming glory and gold... that feeling of losing everything that she had worked so hard to get to this point, those negative emotions are starting to get to her as the letter falls from her hands and she sits down on the couch in shock at what is happening. Screams of rage echo from inside the house as the other two have gotten letters saying what is about to happen to them as well, along with the sounds of glass breaking from upstairs due to Serilda probably throwing something through the window in anger at the letter she gotten, for Ana... Thereisa could only guess what the young woman is going through as the blue hair woman has given up everything to become a LAW wrestler and to have that taken away after all she has done and just when she was placed in her first ever PPV match is cruel in Thereisa eyes.
As she sees the blue hair woman run out the door and leaves the house, but there is nothing she can say or do to make things better for Ana or herself at the moment as it feels like she is at her lowest... just like the first time she had been at this point before.
' Can't believe it is happening to me again... a second chance and now that is gone... what was the point of signing me and my girls if you were going to do that then?' I know I should have made an attempt to wrangle Serilda but to suspend all three of us and even do that to Ana.' She says to herself. Forgetting that she invited somebody to come over and talk with today, but right now it feels like it best she just start packing her things up... cause at this point she might as well leave to go back to Germany and stay there. The feeling of depression is starting to hit as she refuses to allow tears to be shed. Wiping her eyes as she starts to pack and move things around in her living room.

Re: Packing it up (for Steed)
It was not the first time that Sophia had come to Thereisa's place ever since the two had become close during their time in the LAW. Thereisa had become a parental figure to Sophia, taking her in and almost acting as a mother to her, something Sophia could not help but welcome after idolising Thereisa in her prime, and not really having any actual parents to care for her. Though they were still out there, Sophia had disowned them long ago, having fended for herself as a child and beyond. Sophia still recalled the day she ran away... the German beauty always wondered if they even bothered to look for her when she did. It always affected her, and nearly shaped her into something terrible until Sophia found a light in wrestling and martial arts.
She was clad in smart but casual clothing, clad in black suit-esque trousers with black pumps. She wore a white shirt with long sleeves, with a black suit like jacket. The platinum blonde beauty was a sight to behold as always, her hair tied back into a pony tail, her scar very much visible but only adding to her mystic rather than taking anything away from her. She could have been a world class model if she wanted, but she had dedicated her craft to her skill in combat. Her clothing hid just how well built Sophia was, her body well defined despite being slender, holding hidden power that had devastated LAW since her arrival from the Full Metal Wrestling federation.
Sophia approached Thereisa's place, but a frown of concern appeared when she saw glass outside and noticed the shattered window above. She picked up her pace, coming towards the household. She tested the door, to find it had been left open, and feared that something had happened or perhaps someone had broken in. Rushing in, Sophia would find Thereisa in the living room, her back turned to her as it looked like she was sorting things out. At the very least, she was alright, but naturally Sophia still had her concerns.
"<Thereisa... I saw the broken window. Is everything alright?>" Sophia would ask with concern, speaking their native language of German.

Re: Packing it up (for Steed)
Letting out a sniff and wiping her eyes quickly refusing to allow herself to look weak in front of the young woman, Thereisa would cough and fan her face to dry her eyes before turning around to face Sophia.
"Everything is fine... Just Serilda in one of her rampages like she always does dear." She lies. As she made sure to place the letter on the desk behind her before she turned to face Sophia, before walking over and wrapping her arms around the smaller woman and hugging her tightly.
". Thanks for coming over Sophia... So I heard you've been having some issues with some of the wrestlers on the roster, and I heard that a certain someone decided to not wear that wrestling gear that I sent you hmm" she says in a teasing tone of voice.

Re: Packing it up (for Steed)
Sophia looked a little awkward when Thereisa mentioned the outfit she had sent her. In truth the notion of it all had been pleasant, and Sophia felt honoured to have such a gift from Thereisa... it was just that it was not her style. Sophia had never been one for one piece bodysuits, and whilst it was great to get such a gift, she was just not so sure if was for her.
"I... I do apologise. I merely did not wish to encroach on your iconic look." Sophia would make the excuse... which was not untrue in all fairness, just not the whole truth of the matter. Sophia was about to follow up about her potential troubles, but she noticed how red Thereisa's eyes were now that she was facing her.
That awkward and even cute expression shifted suddenly, as Sophia became more serious and stoic. She already had a feeling there was more going on than what Thereisa suggested about Serilda, and now she was certain.
"No... Something is the matter." Sophia would speak more sternly, moving closer to Thereisa as she looked into her eyes.
"You have been crying. Something is troubling you. Please, allow me to try and help. You have done so much for me, perhaps it is time I was of assistance to you." Sophia would implore, motioning for Thereisa to sit down. The mood seemed to shift suddenly, as Sophia tried to comfort Thereisa.

Re: Packing it up (for Steed)
Trying to make light conversation was not Thereisa strong suit... most of the time it was her either scaring off the people she was talking to or commenting about what is going on in the company and wrestling as a whole, but now she can't even do that due to the feeling of her future suspension coming up as the younger woman guides her to the couch and sits down and shows Sophia the letter that was sent to her from the head boss himself who made sure to sign it with his stamp of approval.
'This PPV is going to be my last match in the company before I get released you now... at least the company is being nice and allowing me to pick my match and let me wrestle one more time before getting rid of me you know... at least that is something right' She says while placing her hand over her mouth to refuse herself from tearing up again, not wanting to look weak in front of her other child right now.
'I figured my time was ticking down you know after allowing Serilda to do whatever she wanted and attacking those fans you know, but even complaining about what happened to one of the titles and now all of this is happening to me and the girls at once... and yet I am sad but not surprised since this is just another black mark on my record Sophia and at this point I think it best I just fade away and be a part of wrestling bloody history.' she says while letting out a sigh that just shows that she is mentally done with everything right now that is happening to her.

Re: Packing it up (for Steed)
Sophia sat and listened intently to Thereisa, seeing her fighting back the tears as she placed a hand over her mouth. It was upsetting for Sophia to see her heroine in such a depressed state. It was a reminder that even ones heroes were still human deep inside. Sophia was not the most social of creatures, she was not sure what to say or how to react. Social interaction was something she was still getting used too, but she was slowly getting a little better. All the same, the fellow German managed to react well, sliding closer to put an arm around the taller Thereisa's shoulder, hoping to better comfort her.
"The company would be foolish to release you. You are a legend in the wrestling community, even to this day. I imagine this is just a bluff. Do you think the LAW would let another federation snatch you up? Especially whilst you are still in your element!" Sophia would begin, only speaking the truth she believed in.
" Even if their intent is real, I have some power beyond my wrestling skills. I can help convince them not to let you go from the LAW." Sophia would add, looking to try and reassure her mentor and hero. She managed a small smile, Sophia being a beauty to behold with her scar and all as she tilted her head and tried to look upon Thereisa.
"And so what? Worst case senario... what if they do release you? It would be the closing of a chapter... not the book. We will just go elsewhere." Sophia would then add, letting Thereisa know that if she was to be released or leave, Sophia would willingly go with her.

Re: Packing it up (for Steed)
Thereisa would smile at hearing the words the younger woman in front of her is saying. Only one woman was willing to risk her neck for her when she was younger and now Sophia is one of them, but she would never want the younger woman to risk her career for her since she has planned out her retirement as soon as she could and more when she finally hangs it up.
'No, you will stay in the company alright... I would never want you to leave knowing that you are giving up something for me alright,' The older woman would say, placing her hand on Sophia's head and kisses the younger woman's forehead. 'Beside I have done something that I may be overstepping but I want you to know that I done this with intentions that may or may seem rude you know.' As Thereisa would get up and pull out a small folder before offering it to Sophia to open and look at for herself. 'I hope you agree to the idea, Little Wolf."

Re: Packing it up (for Steed)
Sophia managed a small but genuine smile, though she was not exactly satisfied with Thereisa's response. She did not want her to leave LAW, not when she could still wrestle as well as she could. Thereisa was considered to be entering the twilight years of her career for certain. Though the German wrestling legend was pushing fifty years old, you would not know it looking at how physically fit and imposing she was. She looked younger than her ears, still possessed great power and was taking it to the best of the business and beyond in LAW. The notion of the federation cutting all of that short rubbed Sophia the wrong way, and she was most displeased.
"Please fight this. This is not the fashion on how the legend of Cyber Widow should end. It should be when your body finally fails you many decades from now, not through some backstage bureaucracy nonsense!" Sophia would try to plea. Rather than respond however, Thereisa moved onto another matter, something that would take the younger German beauty off guard. She pulled an awkward expression when Thereisa kissed her forehead, not because of the notion and its sentiment, but simply because Thereisa was silencing the topic at hand that Sophia wanted to press more.
Soon, Sophia found a document within her hands. A puzzled look befell her alluring features, a frown as she opened it up and began to sift through the pages. Having originally come from the business world, Sophia was a quick reader, able to skim through the texts and the finer details in alarmingly rapid fashion. Her frown deepened, her expression became bewildered.
"W... what is this? I... I am not sure I understand." Sophia whispered, having to trace back a few pages to make sure she read what she was reading correctly. There was no mistake in it...

Re: Packing it up (for Steed)
"it is what you think it is..." She says as she takes Sophia's hand in hers and gives it a small squeeze. She had made sure to do this after seeing Sophia's best Alcina in a match, the older woman knew that this was the best course in her mind moving forward when it came to the younger woman standing in front of her.
"I had this ready for the right now you know... I guess I have been much of a coward due to holding on to this for a while and not even making a mention of wanting to adopt you as my own" Thereisa would say with a smile on her face.
As she stands to her feet and goes to grab something from the closest... Holding a Cyber Legacy emblem and jacket in her hands... Before holding it out to Sophia. " I did mean what I said about seeing you as my own Sophia. I want to make it official that you are my daughter you also will create your own legacy one better than mine my little wolf."

Re: Packing it up (for Steed)
It took Sophia two times to read the documents, feeling as if she had mistaken or misread something on the papers before her. It was all official, it was all ready to become a reality. Many laws were stated as well as plenty of statements from solicitors and judges. Such a thing was not doable in many countries, but Sophia was reading into the documents deeply, seeing that Thereisa was able to take Sophia in as her daughter. Only two things were left to do, for Sophia to sign her signature in a few places and for the documents to be sent back to make it official.
Sophia was not sure what to think, it was all so sudden that she had no time to process what Thereisa was proposing to her. Sophia had no family she could call her own, her own parents held no love for her and had not seen her since she ran away as a child. The world had been hard and cruel upon Sophia, morphing her into a cold and heartless individual for many years. Her only notion of humanity came from reading comics and watching wrestling, and Thereisa had been the woman she idolised as a young teen. Now that same woman was before her, asking her if she would accept Sophia as her mother. It felt so unreal, and Sophia had come so far, turning a corner, slowly developing into a new person. Making her own legacy...
"I..." Sophia began, but her voice caught in her throat. She could not speak, and she felt her vision blur. She rubbed her eyes and felt water, realising that she was crying, something she had not done in a very long time. She felt her lip quiver as she looked down at the document, seeing the pen in her own hand. She did not know when she signed, such as the overwhelming emotions, but when she looked at the document she had signed it already. She cast it aside, rising to her feet, before she clashed against Thereisa, wrapping her arms around her for a deep and loving embrace, burying her face against Thereisa's shoulder. Sophia never would have imagined... she would become part of a family.
