Ryuko vs. Mary: Apex Qualifier

Ryuko saw Mary drop and roll to the outside of the ring. "Hmph! My world is the whole arena! You are just a pretender gaijin in my world." Ryuko said as she dropped down, rolling underneath the bottom rope to give chase. Mary wanted breathing room, Ryuko was not going to give her any. The thunder empress tried to get hold of Mary by the hair and haul her next to the ring looking to bounce her face off the ring apron as hard as she could!

Mary needed some time to gather herself and she was sure she’d be demolished by Ryuko if she didn’t get away fast. She had to play her cards right against a veteran of the sport otherwise this wouldn’t turn out well for her. Ryuko gave chase grabbing Mary by the hair and slammed her on the apron as Mary slumped to her knees. She tried hitting punches to the belly in desperation to get Ryuko away from her. Suddenly, Mary had an idea and started running around the corner hoping Ryuko would give chase. The referee made it to 3 on counting out the ladies.

Ryuko was about to slam Mary's head again when she took a few hard shots to the abdomen! Ryuko grunted and stumbled back but was right back to it... although it was just enough space to allow Mary to run! Ryuko gave chase looking to catch up to her and smash her once she was able to get her hands on her!

Mary’s plan had worked to perfection! She got some breathing room from Ryuko and made this match into a brief game of tag. The referee got to six as Mary turned to see the veteran closing in on her. Mary got into a stance and prepared a Dropkick to Ryuko’s knees to trip her into the steel steps! The referee counted to 8 as Mary got Ryuko up shoving her in the ring and got in herself to have both avoid a count-out loss. Mary wanted to have an honest match and didn’t want to end on a tainted victory. She wouldn’t run a coward’s way out.

Ryuko was taken completely by surprise by the dropkick, and her head smashing the steel steps left her in a haze! "UGHHHHHHH!" Ryuko groaned as she collapsed to the ground. She felt Mary pick her up and heft her onto the apron shoving her back into the ring leaving Ryuko rolling and still on the canvas after the nasty shot to her skull.

Mary then got Ryuko up hoping to whip her into the corner following after her hoping for a Corner Clothesline. If both succeeded, Mary would try to hit a Snapmare getting Ryuko on her back to begin bringing down her left knee in the Japanese woman’s face multiple times. She also made sure that every knee strike hurt to keep Ryuko grounded.

Ryuko groaned as she was whipped to the corner hammering the turnbuckle back-first. Ryuko was slumped in the corner as Mary charged right at her but Ryuko wasn't having it. "Coward..." Ryuko hissed recalling how Mary got into control, raising her leg up to plant Mary with a big boot to the face as she ran in to deliver the clothesline with Ryuko in the corner.

Mary had it all planned out in her head at least for how this sequence would go down. She began running for Ryuko before meeting a white boot to her face causing her to grunt. Mary went down on her side as the crowd cheered on the veteran and the chemistry teacher grabbed her face in pain. She then tried moving back slowly in order to create another escape for herself.

Ryuko was glad she stopped whatever it was that Mary had planned. She was still burning over getting caught off guard by Mary running away. Ryuko was going to show this foreign woman how real wrestlers handled business in Japan. Ryuko ran out of the corner and jumped up, extending her arm and trying to come crashing down on top of Mary with an elbow drop to try to keep her down on the mat provided the elbow drop actually connected as planned.

Mary was down on the ground holding her face still aching from the boot to her nose. The science teacher would try to get up, but Ryuko would go for an elbow drop hurting the chest of Mary. Mary wheezed and tried to roll away, but the initial pain kept her on her stomach as she had to figure out something fast. She knew better than to treat Ryuko lightly as the woman is a master class wrestler and can defeat her in only a few minutes if she doesn’t act fast. Mary wanted to prove herself on the big stage with a legit wrestler and she couldn’t do it lying down! Mary lifted herself up on her knees trying to launch a Headbutt to Ryuko’s gut! If that worked, Mary tried catching Ryuko in an inside cradle pin cueing the referee to get down to count.
