Amy had looked over the contract she was given half heartedly. she figured that kind of event was the thing shed be brought in for first, and thus seeing it labeled front and center regarding her first match wasnt a surprise. Instead though when she had nothing to do she looked over the whole thing over and over again and noticed a little discrepancy. Mainly that unlike an actual contract like she was expecting it was mostly talking about just the Event itself ,meaning that once it was over she was done with LAW That was hardly her ideal regarding the promotion to be added for one event so as soon as she could she made sure to get in contact with management to discuss other dates...and if she was even getting any.

She was simply waiting around and looking at the wall as she waited for the person who she had discussed things with to finally arrive. She wasnt sure exactly what her pitch was supposed to be but she knew she had to convince them somehow that she was someone they should keep rather then send off after Bloodsport was over.

As Amy paced around in a backstage office, the CEO finally drew near. He's enter the room with a few papers in hand. Amy was a recent LAW acquisition. It wasn't uncharacteristic for the man himself to meet up with new hires. But it seemed that he had a specific reason for meeting up with Amy.

"Miss Lions! Sorry for being fashionably late. I'm DeFranco, General Manager and CEO of LAW. I'm here to discuss some of the terms of your LAW contract with you."

He'd begin to step into room and approach her for a handshake. If the gesture was reciprocated, Dan would motion to a pair of nearby chairs and suggesting that they get more comfortable.

"Come, let's have a seat before we get started."

She hated waiting too long and thankfully she wasnt waiting too long as finally the man of the hour came ready to talk to her. She was slightly surprised the person in question was a dude rather then a women like she was used to but she was about to voice that. Maybe a dude would actually be more level headed then the catty chicks who had power she was used to dealing with. Taking his hand curtly and waiting for him to finish, ignoring two mental efforts on her part to burst out and start talking she took a seat hastily before she started to speak.

Once she was seated she took a second to compose herself before speaking. "Mr. Defranco i came here because I was looking over my contract for the Bloodsport and realized that it leaves me set for that event and that event only. I was under the assumption i would be part of LAW in the long term. And I intend to be apart of it for that much, so my question is...well what gives?"

"I'm glad you got straight to the point. You're a valuable asset to LAW, and well, anywhere you end up working. You deserve an explanation."

DeFranco would say before collating the paper in his hand and handing them to Miss Evans.

"There was never any question about whether or not you'd be offered a long term contract to work at LAW. Like I said, you'd be a great asset. But I wanted to see to it personally that you'd be hired....with some additional stipulations. And that's why I wanted to meet with you today. To go over them with you."

Getting to the point was Amy's strategy in everything, the fastest way to any point was a straight line, or at least that how she remembered that saying, wherever she heard it. Still the blonde was doing her best not to interrupt or say much that would cause her more trouble. She did like hearing that she was an asset which gave her hopes that things could go well before she heard about any terms she might have to offer...

Amy hated terms, they usually were never good for her and were mostly restricting in the long run still something was better then nothing and maybe she could renegotiate them at a later date. Or get someone to do that for her but either way it didnt have to be permanent. "Um..okay. Well go ahead and run these terms by me."

Dan would nod as Amy asked for those terms. He'd begin flipping through the papers while holding them in front of her.

"Sure, let's get straight to the point." He'd say before stopping on a specific page and directing her to some bullet points.

"This...is essentially a TL;DR of the terms. We're gonna go through what they are, and then I'll explain why they're being asked of you. If you consent to all this, you can sign the paperwork today, be at LAW full time following the end of the Bloodsport event, and go home with virtually no worries." DeFranco would nod before clicking his tongue and reading off the page.

"Amy Evans is to be employed full-time at the League of Anime Wrestling, and is entitled to the same benefits as most other full-time wrestlers unless any of the following transpires:

1) She is proven to have attacked another wrestler, completely unprovoked.

2) She goes out of your way to injure another wrestler under circumstances and matches that in no way call for it.

3) She is find herself in repeated unsanctioned fights and skirmishes

4) She is proven by several eye witness accounts to have been disrespectful in general to her coworkers

5) And finally, she is found to be deviating from behavior that can be attributed to a model LAW employee for days to weeks at a time

These terms are to be followed for 5-6 months, or however long her employers see fit, and when they deem it time, she will be presented with a more accommodating contract." Dan would look at Amy attempting to get a work in quickly before being met with an anticipated outburst.

"So...thoughts?"

Amy had a brief sigh of relief that she was just going over terms. She had discussed those kinds of things before, Afterall they came with every annoying contract. Though as the GM started listing them Amy had to take a second to look at the man confused, which only increased with each and everyone one as she found herself wondering how that would work. Afterall it was pretty clear that not everyone listened to those rules. Or even had them at all.

"Um..." She had to think about her response, not wanting to do anything to ruin things or add to her own problems by getting on DeFranco's bad side so soon into her time here. "Im not saying no to any of that but i do have to ask....why?" She said shrugging her shoulders confused. Granted she knew Dan said they'd go over them but she felt like asking now before she had to sign.

"Sure....this was something brought up to me by our board of directors. And I think I agree with them. That's why I asked you for this meeting. You see, they're concerned about your behavior in previous wrestling promotions. I was against all this at first, but they made it clear that they have valid concerns."

DeFranco would adjust and make eye contact with Miss Evans before continuing.

"You've found yourself in some violent altercations in the past, right? Situations that might have escalated into some serious stuff. That's why you were asked to come to LAW to partake in the Bloodsport even to begin with...But the types of fights you've gotten yourself into have threatened careers. Our management simply wants some measure of assurance that you can exist on the roster long term without driving out, benching, or even outright retiring other women in your matches or confrontations with them. We don't want to add Amy Evans to the roster if it means losing one or more other fine wrestlers, or perhaps even worse, losing you, yourself if you somehow end up trading blows or moves with the wrong girl or group of girls. There's some formidable competition at LAW. And while we do encourage competition, we don't want that competition to be the very thing that dooms us or sets us back as a company."

"Does that make sense? Do you find any of that unfair?"

And just like that the wind on her sails of anger were unceremoniously clipped. Sure she was still angry at the rules but now she saw exactly what they were about. They were scared, of the girl who beat others around because she won, of the 'monster' that preyed on the weak and loved to smack around the strong. The Lion was all she was, and it lingered over her like a predator in its own right. Amy growled for about half a second looking at Defranco like she was about to pounce, she was about to scream that this was bs and that she was trying to change, get in his face and make him realize that.

But what would that prove? Plus it wasnt him who needed to be convinced. It was everyone. "So thats how there playing it huh?..Fucking hell..." Amy muttered before looking at the contract. "Fuck it ive dealt with worse things in my life." The blonde said looking to start signing the papers.

Amy's willingness to go sign the terms of the contract surprised the CEO. HE's wear an incredulous facial expression for a moment before catching himself and regaining his composure.

"You're quite good at dealing with adversity. I suppose that's part of why we wanted to sign you." He's say as Miss Evans signs the two or three dotted lines that required her signature.

"Well that was much quicker and much more painless than I thought it would be. Thanks for your cooperation, Amy. For what it's worth, I view all this as mostly a formality, really. I think you'll be a great addition to the LAW roster, long term." He'd begin collating the papers and standing up. The man would make sure he had all his papers and things with him before trying to make his leave. After checking his pockets, he'd try to say his goodbyes.

"If you have any concerns please let me know. If there's nothing else I can do for you, I'll be taking off."

After taking a few steps, DeFranco would turn back to wish Amy luck in her match just before the two of them parted ways.

"Oh and...good luck in your Bloodsport match against, Navi. She's a tough one, so you'd best bring your A-game."
