Grace was too slow to react, she should have caught Selket before that, now Tina's leg was bruised and it seemed unlikely that she would go into her next match with her rival at 100% percent. Grace wanted to curse out in anger, especially watching her somehow free herself with a puff of smoke like this was a magic show. Thankfully Oscar helped her get Tina up and stabilize her by supporting her from both sides, the more they kept Tina from having to use the leg until she could get it checked the better. "Someone needs to remind her that her freakshow hasn't worked out yet and it won't start with Tina." Grace said after Selket's final warning to all of them, which felt like a threat for the future.

"Oscar let's move her to a seat, I need to get someone from medical to look at her and it's better if they come to her instead of us carrying her the whole way." Grace said, worried by how hurt Tina looked all over. She couldn't even look up and her sides seemed sensitive to any touch. Now with her gone and only them to watch over Tina, it was safe for one of them to step out at least. Once they got Tina a seat Grace would try to direct a qualified member of the medical staff to get a look at her. "Don't worry, if she's trying stunts like that it's because she's scared of you. I won't let this happen again." Grace promised Tina.

This was Oscar's first time seeing Selket in person- having only ever seen pictures of her when he did some digging around on her LAW career after she crashed Tina's celebration back when she served the young lion his first loss in LAW. The young man was shocked to see Selket set off some kind of smoke bomb and disappear into thin air and felt a chill on the back of his neck when the priestess's voice came through the intercom. Having a history of being a showman, it seemed likely to Oscar that Selket might've pre-recorded the message and had it play but... how would she have known that people were going to come to Tina's aid? Honestly, it creeped him out a bit.

Turning his focus back towards Grace and Tina, Oscar nodded his head and went to help his mentor's girlfriend guide the poor former model to a chair and gently place her in it- taking great care to ensure Tina wasn't putting any weight on the likely injured leg. Oscar showed a deep sense of concern on his face- clearly still very green when it came to dealing with the uglier side of the wrestling industry... or rather the people that can make the business ugly. Despite this- the Barbarian Prince tried to keep his head on for Tina's sake. If he could survive being caught in a riot and getting his front soaked in blood, he could survive seeing one of his best friends getting hurt.

"Yeah... what Grace said. I don't know what I could do against someone with experience like Selket- but I'll be damned if I just have to sit back and do nothing. Not after this"

The young lion shook his head.

"I'm not scared of Selket. Nothing that nut could say or offer me would ever make me ditch you. Friends for life, remember?"

Oscar gave Tina the best smile he could despite his nerves, just trying to offer some reassurance to the former model.

"I'm not sure, I feel like I've been hit by a car...and then double tapped." She then heard Astrid trying to encourage her about getting better before the match. "I'm not so sure, we're only...ooofff...two days from the cruise ship, thank goodness the match is after that...but still...I better hope....ssss...for a Wolverine Healing factor." Tina managed to kid before letting out some pained grunts and winces before letting out a sigh of relief as she was shifted into sitting on a chair. "Thank you...sssss...for coming to my aide. I wasn't nhhh...expecting her to be here."She kept her injured leg out stretched as she kept one hand cupped against the back of her head as she leaned it back to rest against the wall as her other arm folded over her ribs. She smiled at how motherly her girlfriend sounded with how much she wanted to protect her and pulled her hand away from her ribs to grab Grace's hand and give it a squeeze. "Mmm, Selket wouldn't stand a chance and I know you would look great kicking her ass." She mentioned she held Grace's hand until it slipped away as Grace went to look for a member of the medical staff. She then looked at Oscar talking to her and the friends for life quote made her weakly smile. "You're just saying that...because you are in a relationship...with my sister." She joked as she pulled her hand away from the back of her head and hooked it around the back of Oscar's head as she gently pulled his face forward to rest her forehead against his as she closed her eyes before releasing Oscar and resting her head back. She then opened her eyes back up to look at Astrid as she grinned from ear to ear. "I wish I could show you how excited I am that I was saved by my actual hero." She mentioned as she chuckled before wincing at the shaking motion from as she folded her arms over her ribs once more.

Astrid sighed, thinking back on how petty and underhanded Selket had to be to keep up this feud. She thought it was over after the match at Fight the LAW last year - but not only was Selket not getting the message that Astrid wasn't about to put up with her tricks, she was dragging innocent bystanders into this, too. She could at least put up with her antagonizing her; after all, she had dealt with Selket in the past, and surely she could do it again. But if she had to go after people who played no part in this whole ordeal, people she didn't even know, for no reason save for the fact that they were connected to the champion in some way...that was a step too far.

However, it wasn't the time to worry over Selket's trickery right now. What was important was that Tina needed help. Astrid guided her over to a bench, taking care not to put too much pressure on any part of her that might have been sore. She winced when she saw how she struggled even to brace herself against the wall - but at least she could find it in her to crack a joke or two about the situation. Astrid was glad she wasn't hurt worse than she was...but it wouldn't lighten her spirits one bit when she knew that Selket was still up to her old tricks.

"Mm..." She bowed her head lower with a sigh, thinking about the timing of the attack, and how it was in advance of Selket facing Tina in a match. That didn't bode well. "I have no doubt she was out to ensure you started the match off on the wrong foot. And if that's the best that such a master of the arcane and mysterious can manage, well...I can't say I'm impressed. Do you think you'll be able to handle her? I've dealt with her before, I can always give you some tips..."

But then, Tina went on to tell Astrid how grateful she was to have her hero and role model come to her aid - and at that, the Norsewoman bowed her head, smiling a little wider. It meant a lot to Astrid to be the champion. She knew how many eyes were on her, and how great the responsibilities of her position were - and she wanted to live up to them in every capacity, giving LAW the dignified, respectable champion the honor deserved. Whenever she met her fans, the people who she inspired with all her hard work, she felt as though she was doing something right. And when she saw she had fans even among the company, before her reign was even over, that meant all the more.

Grace was back as soon as she could, irritated by how slow that had been to get Tina help as the staff was soon all over Tina to see how badly it was. Two days before the cruise took off and a week after that before the match started, that gave Tina 10 days of rest max to recover from the attack and she had to train at some point before that to stay in good fighting shape to beat her opponent. Grace didn't want Tina pushing herself so close to a big match but Selket was making it difficult with her tricks and mind games. When she saw that Astrid was there as well Grace decided it would be best to talk to her.

"I think a few tips from the champ herself would do Tina a lot of good. I think everyone here can agree the last thing we want is for Selket to get a victory and justify more of these awful attacks." Grace said to the champ about helping Tina. Any help she could get would be the best at this moment and at least this way she would have an advantage thanks to someone who already beat Selket once.

Oscar would close his eyes as Tina pulled his head down for their foreheads to rest against eachother. He would say what he could despite his shakey tone.

"That's a load of garbage and you know it..."

He'd pull his head back to look at Tina, letting out a bit sigh.

"But Grace is right. There's no bloody way I'm going to let Selket get a win because of this! I don't care what she says- I'm going to see this through the end. Maybe help you get ready for the match if there's anything I can do.

"I didn't climb this far just to lose again to the Undertaketress." Tina weakly smiled as she nodded her head at Astrid, "I
am always willing to take tips and learn. My match is before yours at the pay per view. Let's talk then, I'm probably going to be a little loopy to remember what you taught me after the few stomps to the head I took. "
She mentioned when Astrid offered her experience with Selket. She giggled at Oscar's garbage talk. "I know, I was just teasing you." She whispered as she patted his cheek. She then sighed in relief as her honey returned with a few medical staff. "Thanks babe." She mentioned as she reached out to hold Grace's hand. "I love you guys, don't wait up for me, injured or not by the time of the match I will be damned if I'm going to let Selket halt my momentum. I'll keep in touch with you all when I'm ready to resume training." She mentioned as then gave Grace's hand a squeeze as she turned her head to wink at her. "Except for you hon. You know I'll need some healing kisses when I get done being examined here."
