Tiki Lowell

Tiki Lowell did not expect to be in this spot a few days ago. Standing in a ring at the gym on a Saturday was nothing new, but the surprise came from who was standing in the ring with her: Niko Tomiji. It was supposed to just be yesterday, with Tiki all but torturing the pinkette Lightweight as a vengeance fueled POW session. But things had changed. Tiki had made the attempt to take the high road and reach out to Niko, and against all expectations, she rose up with the veteran. So now, Tiki was Niko's trainer. For four months at least, maybe beyond if it went well.

"Hello Niko. It's a pleasure to see you today," Tiki greeted, the last of her doubts that Niko would try to renege on the deal washing away. "So for our first lesson, I'm going to teach you how to wrestle. I fought you, and seen you fight, and it's clear that you don't really now what you're doing. You have the classic look of someone who's going off of pure feel and instinct rather than any actual knowledge. I believe that skill is the most important factor on the outcome of a fight. Physical attributes can't be ignored of course, but I still consider them second to actually knowing how to fight."

"Before we start, there's something I want to make clear. You don't have to try to wrestle exactly like I do," said Tiki. "Man has been developing hand to hand combat since before we started using sticks and rocks to kill each other with. There's just so much to this that no one person could ever be close to knowing it all, so there's no one way to wrestle. I'm just teaching you some of what your options are and how to properly perform them, said Tiki. "What you have to do is take what I teach you, and take the parts of it that you like and that work for you, and build it into your style. If I show you something that just isn't you, then you don't have to think about it again. And if I give you something you love, tell me. And we can focus on it, and I can give you more moves like it."

Tiki wondered what kind of wrestler Niko would develop into. The veteran thought she'd be someone who liked to get opponents down to the ground where she could control and dominate them with grappling. She then continued her introduction, "and I'm not your only source of knowledge either. You can use anything you find, or even anything you come up with on your own to make up the repertoire of Niko Tomiji. I'm just one of your guides to helping you find something you like that works."

Re: The Real Training Session

Niko would take a deep breath in preparation as she stood in front of Tiki. When she agreed to this it was a spur of the moment thing to avoid any lasting and sustained torture at the woman's hands, but now the reality of this training was starting to set in and it was almost overwhelming her. 'More money more money more money!' She chanted to herself inside her head, the carrot that Tiki had dangled in front of Niko yesterday to fully convince her of agreeing to this was now acting as a lifeline for the pink haired girl to keep herself motivated to put up with this.

Focusing fully on the older woman before her as she began speaking Niko would nod. She supposed learning 'proper' wrestling technique would have to come sooner or later. Up till now she had largely just been doing whatever worked and picked up a thing or two along the way as a result. Hell she still didn't even have any proper wrestling gear, let alone gym wear, hence she was wearing her bikini once again for the training session. Something she hoped Tiki wouldn't give her crap about...

Regardless though the lightweight was at least glad Tiki seemed to be taking a more... loose approach to teaching her wrestling. Because in all honesty Niko wasn't sure she'd be able to pick up on half the stuff that Tiki was able to do in the ring, largely due to the woman doing a lot of power reliant moves when they fought, mixed in with submissions. So hearing that she wouldn't have to use EVERYTHING Tiki taught her was definitely a relief, but still that begged a question... "Right ok.. I think I can do that.. er most of it." Niko said somewhat bashfully while rubbing her arm a bit awkwardly. "Um.. so where do we start then?" Niko asked hoping it would be with something at least somewhat easy to start off with.

"We start at the start, of course," said Tiki. Niko seemed nervous, but ready and willing to try. And frankly that's all Tiki was asking for in the first session. Proof that Niko was prepared to stick with this. "A match can start three ways; you attack and your opponent defends, you defend and your opponent attacks, or you both attack. And if you both defend, then nothing happens, and eventually one of you has to do something aggressive," explained Tiki. "And the most common way a match starts, and what we'll be covering first, is that both wrestlers try to attack, and it results in a lockup."

Tiki raised her hands, waited for Niko to do the same, and then locked hands with her student. A classic test of strength position. "And a lock up will almost always result in either this or an elbow and collar tie up. But both are fundamentally the same. Standing grappling where you attempt to overpower and outmaneuver your opponent. It's rather simple. Push hard, try to lower your shoulder or head into your opponent's chest, and shift your hand out of the grip to somewhere you can get a good grip to drag your opponent down or lift them up for a slam once you feel the moment is right. Really just something that comes naturally with practice and experience."

"But you don't always want that," said Tiki. "Your position right now, for example Niko. We both know I'd win this exchange 100 times out of 100. Of course, people have developed tricks to come out ahead in lock ups where they would otherwise be overwhelmed, but I like something a little different." Tiki broke her grip with Niko, now holding her hands back a few inches. "Once you lock hands or arms, you've committed. Anything you want to pull has to be done with the though in mind that your opponent currently has a hold of you. I say, if you're going to get tricky with a lock up, why not do it before you make contact?" Tiki asked.

"Not being in contact with your opponent expands your options to attack," Tiki explained. "The first, and most simple option, is to pull back and strike instead. Not something you can't do if you lock up, but you can strike with higher quality from a pre lock up position. If you do go this route, I'd avoid punching," warned Tiki. "From a pre lock up, you're in a poor position to punch, and your opponent is in the perfect position to defend. I recommend pulling back and kicking at their stomach, or trying to go low at their legs."

Tiki then let herself smirk at Niko a bit. "Or you can try something I think you'll like a bit more," she said. "You can step forward, planting your foot, twist your hips, turn, and snap them back straight into your opponent's stomach." Tiki did exactly this, doing a slow motion hip attack into Niko's tummy. Sticking her butt out as she leaned forward. "I personally don't care much for those leaping hip strikes. Too much wind up time and it puts your back to the opponent. But it can be a nice surprise weapon at close range. And what's more, there are a couple ways you can turn this into a combo," said Tiki. "Combos are always good," she said. "Multiple hits in one attack is just better than only getting one hit per opening. Always be looking for the follow up after a successful hit."

"The first combo doesn't work if you're much taller, so I'm gonna crouch down," said Tiki as she got low. "This move is called a stunner, and it's a good go to whenever your back is to the opponent in contact range. You reach up and grab the back of their head, and yank them down as you drop to your knees or butt, smashing their chin into the bony part of your shoulder." Once more demonstrating in slo mo, Tiki gently pulled Niko's head down into her shoulder. "They'll be stunned and staggered if you do it right, and you can follow up further depending on how the stumble or fall."

Tiki then reset the position to after the hip attack, with her butt against Niko's belly. "But this is the follow up I like," said Tiki. "You're opponent should ne leaning forward onto your back after the hip strike, and there arms should be forward, making it rather easy to grab an arm, pull it down over your shoulder, really drive your butt into them, and judo toss them onto their back." Tiki couldn't really slo mo this, so she let go of Niko's arm before demonstrating the throwing form. "You push forward with your plant leg, and you'll know you've done it right when your back leg really kicks up behind you."

"But the combo isn't quite done yet," said Tiki as she had Niko get down on her back as if she had been thrown. "First off, you'll want to keep hold of your opponent's arm after throwing them. Better to have control of their arm than not," she said. "There are a couple ways to follow up here. The simple way is to just take the leg you already have reeled back and just blast your opponent's head with a punt kick and go from there. But there's another way that can end matches on the spot if you pull it off," said Tiki. "Swing forward with the back leg in the air, and use the momentum to hop forward slightly, landing on your butt. You can also just return to a standing position and then drop down, but hopping is quicker. Then as you're landing, you wrap your thighs around their upper arm and get their elbow underneath your stomach/crotch area. Then with a two handed grip on their wrist, push your hips up, bend their wrist down, and push their arm forward to lock them into a high angle armbar. It's high angle because I'm lined up diagonally with your body instead of straight across like most people envision armbars as. Still just as painful though," Tiki explained. Her feet rested atop Niko's breasts, and Tiki's butt was raised up off of the floor as her crotch pressed against the pinkette's elbow, but Tiki wasn't pushing on Niko's arm, so no real pressure was applied.

"Now it's your turn," said Tiki. "But please practice the moves on me for real. You can take it slow to get used to the motions if you need to, but once your ready, come at me with everything you've got. And like I said before, try it all, keep what you like. And if you want to try something you came up with that I didn't show you, feel free. I could never show you everything myself."

Niko took a deep breath in preparation as Tiki said they would start at the beginning, which the pink haired girl wasn't sure would entail. Hopefully it would be nothing too crazy or complicated to try and follow along with. Starting off with entering a lock up Niko would actually pay attention rather well as Tiki lectured about what this entailed and her various options for when one was about to start. Granted Niko didn't have much of a chance to say or do anything other than follow along with what Niko said, but it went to show that Niko was at least being serious about trying to listen to Tiki. However as the older woman mentioned that it would be easier to counter against a larger opponent before a lock up Niko would perk up a bit more. That was always her biggest problem when facing Tiki in the past, and against big opponents in general. So finding a way around that out of the gate would be great.

"Right.." Niko said as Tiki mentioned a kick being the best thing to try before mentioning something she would like more. "Oooh this seems fun!" Niko said as she felt Tiki's but gently press against her stomach as a demonstration of what she could do by using a hip attack rather than a kick. That was definitely something that stuck with the girl as she nodded enthusiastically. "Sounds good!" She said before Tiki began to elaborate further on possible combos and things Niko could do beyond the initial hip attack. Nodding along completely as Tiki explained and even getting down on her back so the woman could continue with her demonstration, showing off a high angle armbar to Niko which, thankfully wasn't even close to full pressure.

Eventually the demonstration would end and Niko would get up along with Tiki, where she was encouraged to do the parts that seemed natural to her but on full force against the woman. "Oh are you sure?" Niko asked before quickly realizing Tiki would assure her it was. Nodding to herself and taking a deep breath Niko would take a few steps before charging forward, turning quickly to fire a hip attack as hard as she could into Tiki's stomach. Pausing to think about what to do next Niko decided to reach up and grab Tiki's head, deciding to drop down to her but for a stunner rather than the judo throw, finding that would be easier, and something she felt more confident about.

From there Niko would look up over her shoulder to see how Tiki would stumble or fall. Getting up herself Niko would charge forward and seize Tiki's arm, if her mentor was still standing than from here Niko would execute the throw, with it being easier now that Tiki was bent over and easier to manipulate. If done successfully than Niko would finish up the combo by dropping down and throwing her legs over Tiki's body, pulling back as hard as she could, as accurately as she could from how Tiki did it, scooting up on her but and arching her back Niko would suck in a breath as she tried to pull the arm as tightly as possible for the arm bar. "Ok how's this?" Niko asked the woman as she maintained the submission to see how Tiki would take Niko's execution of everything.

While Tiki had encouraged Niko to experiment to find what she liked, the greenette honestly had no idea what to expect her student to actually come up with. After Niko performed the hip attack, she then hit Tiki with both the stunner and the judo toss before locking in the armbar. Which if the feeling in Tiki's elbow was anything to go by, Niko was executing quite well.

"Very good," said Tiki as she tapped on Niko's ankle, signaling the end of the rep. Once the Lightweight let go and the were both standing, Tiki would begin her assessment. "First off, it's okay to come in hot with the hip attack for that extra oomph if you want, but it's not necessary to get a combo off of it. The most important thing is to make sure you show with your arms like you're going for a lock up to keep opponent's guessing and off guard. The hip strike itself was well done," said Tiki.

"I must say that I wasn't expecting you to combine the two branches of the combo tree into one, but it certainly seems like your idea has merit," praised Tiki. "Pulling off the stunner properly to set up the throw is key. My instincts tell me that the margin for error there is very slim against a real opponent, warned Tiki. "You'll need to use what you've got in that butt of yours to bounce back up to your feet quickly. And I'd also recommend pulling forward just a tiny touch instead of going straight down with the stunner to make sure your opponent ends up positioned where you want."

"Also, something I should've said beforehand about the throw," Tiki said. "It's meant to allow you to throw opponent's even if they are somewhat larger than you. So if you felt you needed to do the stunner first to be able to throw me, you should be fine without it as long as you perform the throw correctly. Though as I said before, having the stunner there does seem like it could be viable if you just decide you want to have it in the combo. And lastly," said Tiki. "The high angle armbar was very well done. Honestly I had expected you to have much sloppier technique to start out with, but you're taking to these techniques quite well. I'm impressed. The pause between the hip attack an the stunner when you were deciding what you wanted to do would be the only real mark against you, but more fluid, free flowing attacks will come naturally as you develop familiarity and comfort with your moves."

Niko had done the combo as best as she could remember based on what Tiki had shown her, and did her best in order to replicate it as much as possible. Feeling the tapping on her leg Niko knew that meant it was time to release her hold and let the older woman up. Rolling backwards and away from the older lady Niko would get up to her feet and nod along with Tiki as the woman went over everything she did to see how she did. Frankly Niko wasn't sure what to expect, after all it was her first attempt at real proper wrestling so she wasn't exactly sure how this would go...

So imagine Niko's surprise when she was actually complimented for what she had done and given praise for the way she took in Tiki's advice. It definitely wasn't what she had been expecting and... well Niko couldn't help the blush that crossed her face as she took the praise in. It wasn't all positives though granted. Turns out the stunner had been unnecessary with the way the throw was designed to work, and she took a bit too much time in between the throw and submission.

However for those to be the only marks actively against her... Well Niko had to admit that was way better than she had initially expected and she was rather... proud about that? It was definitely a new feeling as she would nod up to Tiki with a smile. "Thank you Tiki." She said politely for the praise before smiling with a bit more confidence than when they first started. "So whats next?" She asked almost eagerly in anticipation to see what Tiki would show her next.

It looked like both Tiki and Niko herself were surprised at the Lightweight's success at her first attempt at using proper fighting technique. Tiki also took notice of the blush that came across Niko's face after the praise was given, as well as the proud smile and nod, and the thanks that the pinkette gave. She responds really well to praise it seems, noted Tiki. It was always good for a teacher to understand the mind of their student to better instruct them, after all.

Tiki was also pleased by the eagerness Niko showed to keep learning. This was certainly starting off really well. If Tiki could get Niko to outright enjoy this, then there was no limit to where this could go. "Well we'll stick with the opening of a match for now, but move onto a couple more options you can use," said Tiki. "When I teach you technique, I'll mainly stick to a pattern of covering a small number of topics per lesson, but covering them thoroughly. It's better to have, say, 2 skills with 3 or 4 branches than 8 or 9 skills with only branch each. This is because if you only have one option, once your opponent figures out how to stop it, that aspect of your wrestling is shut down entirely. But if you have multiple tricks in the same skill, then it's a lot more likely to stay useful," said Tiki. "Because even if your opponent is ready for one move you have, you can get them with a second move. And once they figure that out, you can go to a third move, or even go back to the first one, since your opponent also has to keep the second option in mind and might not be ready for the first. Put simply, your options are a lot less likely to run stale if you have multiple responses for one situation."

"So having said that, let's go back to just separated from a lock up," said Tiki as she raised her arms, putting her hands just a bit away from Niko's. "To illustrate my point, say you're fighting someone like me who you don't want to get in a test of strength with, and you keep falling back on the hip strike whenever we're in a lock up scenario, sooner or later I'll see it coming and counter. Or even worse, if your opponent has watched film on you and realizes you over rely on it, they may just counter it the very first time. You need to have variety."

"So the next two options I'm going to show you are quickly shifting your arm to the outside and pushing your opponent's arm in," said Tiki as she slowly demonstrated the motion on Niko's arm. "And quickly shifting your arm inside and pushing their arm out and away," Tiki once more demonstrated the motion. "And since you can do it on the left or right, it sort of counts as 4 options if you want to think of it like that. Although I wouldn't recommend trying to do this with both arms at the same time. A lot of extra concentration and dexterity required for not much extra benefit."

"If you get this to work and get the advantage, there are too many options for me to cover. I'll give you some examples, but the amount of things you can do if you beat your opponent off the first contact and end up at such close range that you barely have to extend an arm or leg at all to reach them is ridiculous," explained Tiki. "The main guideline that you should take form this and remember is to keep your body on the same side as your arm. If you go inside with your arm and push them out, work towards the side you've pushed them away on, but stay in front of them. And now to just a small fraction of what you can do," said Tiki. "For takedowns, you can wrap your arms around a leg or both legs and lower your shoulder into their body for a takedown that will give you full control of your opponent's legs. Or you could stay more upright, go more body to body, and sweep a leg of theirs with your own and use your arms to help push down their body if you want a takedown that puts you further up and gives you more ways to attack your opponent's upper body. You also have some striking options," said Tiki. "The hand you didn't make your move with is in good position for a gut punch, the hand you did make the move with can be quickly drawn back for a blow to the jaw, and if your in that kind of fight, a quick knee straight up makes for an effective low blow. Lastly for what I'm going to cover, you can wrap your arms around your opponent and just start squeezing for a bearhug. Or you could pick them up and slam them down onto their back, throw them backwards for a belly to belly suplex, or sent them straight back down onto your knee for an Atomic Drop." Tiki sincerely hoped she wouldn't regret mentioning that last move considering how their first match with each other started.

"And if you go outside and push them inside," Tiki quickly continued. "You'll want to move to their side, or even all the way behind them if you want. It keeps the arm you pushed locked away from the action, and puts you out of the effective range of their other arm. Now when you move to the outside, your inside arm will be moving across your opponent's body. So you can sneak in a belly punch before you start the real attack, knock them down with a lariat, slide underneath their arm as you swing behind them for either a Full Nelson or a Half Nelson Chokehold, or if your opponent is short enough, you can go over their head and wrap around the back of their neck to pull them into a headlock. And since you'll have a bit of forward momentum, you could even turn around and fall backwards to faceplant your opponent with something close to a running DDT. And if you stick to their side, you can grab their arm and pull it towards you while you kick their legs out from under them to take your opponent down, where you could go for an armbar or a side headscissor. They also wouldn't really be able to defend the side of their head if you want to just punch them. Or you could go low and put your shoulder into the back of their hip, get your inside arm under their leg, your outside arm up around their neck, and then pull them up onto your shoulders for a Torture Rack. Then if you decide to go behind your opponent, I really don't know what to tell you aside from what can't you do from directly behind your opponent at this range? Grab them however or wherever you want and have fun. The only real disadvantage to going behind is that your opponent gets a little more time to react and recover than if you attack immediately from the side. Now with the lecture out of the way," said Tiki. "It's your turn to practice. And since there is so much different possibilities to try and test, feel free to run this drill as many times as you please until you're satisfied."

Re: The Real Training Session

Unread post by Bare »

So far the training session had been going pretty well, or at least as well as Niko could have really hoped for in all honesty since she was coming in with low expectations. But after completing the first part of their training it of course wasn't done yet, but she was actually finding herself paying attention to what Tiki said next so that was a definite sign of Niko's change in attitude. Listening attentively Niko would nod along as Tiki explained the ins and outs of how else to go about a lock up but from closer up. It all made sense for the most part, but the amount of possible options would definitely be a lot for Niko to remember, and she was a little overwhelmed if she was being honest. However Tiki had so far been surprisingly chill so she was sure even if she screwed up the woman would understand.

Given free range to practice what had been preached Niko would nod as she raised her arms up and thought for a second before deciding what she wanted to try first. Reaching up and grabbing Tiki's hand Niko would do as instructed and push in on the woman, making sure her body remained on the side of her arm as she did so. If done successfully than Niko would go low, sweeping her legs around to wrap around one of Tiki's legs to bring her down to the mat! If successful, while still holding onto Tiki's arm she would drape herself over the woman's back while pulling the caught arm for a move she had seen and experienced a few times!

If that worked and if Tiki approved than Niko would quickly let go and help the woman back up so that Niko could try again. Pushing in on the arm again this time Niko would try and instead use their height difference to her advantage, tucking her head in and thrusting forward to try and drive her head and shoulder into the woman's midsection to stun her! If that worked than Niko would tug on Tiki's arm while keeping herself brace against the women's midsection before lifting up as she pulled on Tiki's arm, trying to send the woman over her body and down onto the mat!

Once again if the maneuver worked and if Tiki seemed satisfied than Niko would wait for Tiki to get back up into a neutral position before moving forward again. This time though Niko would try and move outside before pushing inside, going around Tiki to try and come up behind her! If successful in doing so than Niko would then try and tug Tiki by the arm down, attempting to shift her arm up to wrap around Tiki's armpit. If successful in that and in pulling the woman down towards her then Niko would try and wrap her other arm around Tiki other armpit for a full nelson! But the hold was definitely a bit awkward because the size difference between them, and Niko was honestly having a hard time holding Tiki from her lower vantage point... to the point she actually ended up tripping backwards, pulling Tiki with her before on instinct, wrapped her legs around Tiki's waist inadvertently locking in a body scissors as well!

Tiki was starting to get her hopes up about Niko. Sure she had seen the potential the young woman held, but the veteran had thought that getting Niko to actually realize it would end up like pulling teeth from a cat in a bathtub. But not only was Niko receptive to her instruction, her very first attempt at using proper technique had gone as well as even the most optimistic outlook could have guessed.

But now was a critical moment for Niko. Could she replicate her success? Niko started by pushing Tiki's arm out and moving inside on the arm side. That was step one done right. Then Niko swept Tiki's legs in a way that made sure the greenette would fall forward, with the pinkette moving just enough to the side to accommodate before immediately following Tiki down to the mat. Niko landed on Tiki's back, the veteran's arm still in her grip, which she then began wrenching back. Success achieved, Tiki swiftly tapped with her other arm. "Good job Niko. Fujiwara Armbar, eh?" said Tiki. "You seem to like armbars, don't you?"

Niko went the same direction for her second attempt. But this time she lowered her shoulder into Tiki's belly, "Guh!" the veteran gasped, genuinely caught off guard by the student's method of attack. Her footing was thrown off, and that imbalance was all Niko needed to upend Tiki completely and send her falling to the mat. "Wonderful," Tiki said, still on her back. "I think I'm as stunned by you pulling that off as I am by the fall itself. You might've been able to really get me if you cam down for a follow up."

Niko pushed Tiki in and moved outside for her third try, sliding her trailing arm up under Tiki's arm to set up for a Full Nelson. The veteran would start by turning to try to follow Niko, before coming back in response to her student going behind her. Pretty much giving Niko the perfect opening to get the Nelson that she wanted. Tiki certainly could have stopped Niko, but only because she knew exactly what her student knew. To keep the exercise fair, the veteran acted as if she didn't have the knowledge of what the busty Lightweight was doing. Niko didn't make any errors in her execution, so Tiki wouldn't prevent her from getting her hold.

When Niko tripped and fell, Tiki didn't see it on account of Niko being behind her. She had thought her student had done so intentionally to strengthen her hold. "Before anything, keep this hold. I want to use it to move into our next point," said Tiki. "Great form again, and good thinking to drag me down. It cuts out a big portion of my height advantage, and lets you get this scissor." Tiki started to notice that Niko's hold was actually kinda painful. She knew her student had a naturally good body, and had been training it on her instruction beforehand, but Niko had a lot more strength to show off than Tiki had thought now that it was being augmented by better technique.

"I've taught you some basics on how to get an advantage, now let's work on what to do with an advantage once you have it," Tiki said, keeping the pain she felt out of her voice. "You can't just lock something in and expect to win. You're opponent will fight back, they will trouble you, they will probably escape. Maintaining an advantage is all about responding to how your opponent tries to escape. Whether it's shutting them down to keep your hold intact, releasing your hold to transition to something else before they escape on their own, or hitting them with something else the moment they escape. You're going to try the third one."

"I've already taught you how to escape a Full Nelson in our first match. Do you remember what it is?" The answer was to push your arms out and your head back to force the attacker's hands apart and break the hold. Tiki would praise Niko if she remembered, or gently remind her if she didn't. "In our match I let you smack me in the face with the back of your head. But if you just shift your head a bit so it isn't lined up with mine, that won't happen. A big part of countering your opponent's escape is having a proper understanding of your own holds, so you know how they will try to escape. You have enough of an understanding of a Full Nelson to know how I will try to escape, so now it's on you to figure out how to maintain your advantage once I make my move."

From the first drills, Niko had shown that she could see Tiki's demonstrations, hear her instructions, and replicate them. Now Tiki wanted to see how her student would fare with less instruction. Niko had already shown a flair for improv and creativity in their first match, so Tiki only had confidence in her protégé to find an answer that would at least be worth exploring. Once Niko was ready, Niko would begin her escape. "Grrrraahhh!" Tiki had to put genuine exertion and effort into breaking through Niko's hold, but the teach was still the stronger of the two. She broke through Niko's Full Nelson, and her head flew backwards. Hopefully not into Niko's face if she followed instructions. Tiki's body also rocked back into Niko's, the greenette's back pressing into her student's bust. The momentum generated by the power Tiki used to break Niko's hold would force the veteran to recover a bit before she regain proper control of her movements. This was the window Niko had to strike. If she waited too long, Tiki would continue on and escape completely. Which the teacher truly hoped wouldn't happen.

Re: The Real Training Session

Luckily Niko was doing fairly well under Tiki's tutelage so far. Granted it helped that the woman was breaking things down fairly simply for her to grasp, but Niko wasn't gonna say no to more simplistic instructions. Following through with some of the different things Tiki had suggested Niko would smile fairly widely hearing what Tiki had to say. So far it would appear that she was doing a good job and Niko was totally focused on continuing to do so.

Really the only area she fell short in was the last move she tried with the full nelson, and that's cause she actually fell short, literally! falling backwards and onto her but because of short she was while trying to reach up and bind Tiki's arms! Luckily enough for Niko she had a good enough sense of things to maintain her hold on Tiki's arms and on instinct, wrapped her legs around the woman's body for a body scissors on top of the full nelson. Blinking at the fact that she actually managed that, and then hearing what Tiki ahd to say made Niko chuckle nervously, knowing that she got incredibly lucky here.

'Talk about making lemonade out of lemons.' Niko thought to herself awkwardly before nodding to Tiki, wanting to keep up appearances. "Yeah yeah I figured this would be easier hehe." Niko let out with a nervous chuckle before falling into silence as Tiki explained what they were going to do next which made her gulp somewhat nervously in anticipation before nodding. "Alright.." She said, already starting to feel Tiki struggle, flashbacks of their matches flashing through her mind as she thought of something that could help.

First and foremost she would lean her head back, lining it up with Tiki's as instructed so that when it came backwards it missed Niko completely. Sighing in relief at this first part Niko would prepare herself, an idea coming to mind just in the nick of time as it was right about now that Tiki would manage to pull her arms loose. Keeping her legs locked around Tiki though Niko would try and lean up in the same moment, throwing her arms up and attempting to wrap them around Tiki's neck in a effort to ensnare her teacher in a sleeper hold before leaning back again in a effort to pull Tiki down with her and shut down the escape attempt!
