The Official Ostberg-Ashworth Wedding (Open Thread)

Finella enjoyed their impromptu session as the "Swedes" seemed to do. Finella gave it her all and when she saw Chelsea looking on, even smiling at them, the Hellraiser grinned, stepped forward and pulled Chelsea in their middle. "Ladies and Gentleman, Miss Chelsea Forster!", she shouted, grabbing a bass guitar and looking at Chelsea. "You know the lyrics, come on!", she said and offered her the spotlight.

Harmonia blushed a little, of course aware that she could not hide the fact that she had showered Moll with presents. "You know when Christmas and our anniversary are on the same day...", she said and looked over to Molly who proudly wore some of Harmonias exquisite presents. She cleared her throat and then took Mollys hand. "You see Kennedy, if you have such a beautiful angel as your girlfriend, you have to spend a little more to make her shine even brighter.", she grinned and squeezed Mollys hand, giving her a wink.
Then she saw Black Tornado and her face lit up. "Oh, hello! It is such an honor to meet you. I am a big admirer of your work.", the Austrian babbled when the two teenagers introduced themselves. "My, are'nt you two polite young ladies. Just call me Moni of you like, I don't like all that fancy stuff, in Upper Styria we are'nt so tightassed like others. And what cute outfits. Look Carrot, are'nt they adorable?", she smiled.

George gave Ryan a hug. "Ov course, can'' affawd 'o destroyin my image by wearin usule malarkey ou' ov 'he box, ma'e. So 'ell me, where can i ge' a guiness?", the Cockney Flame asked nonchalantly.

When she heard William's offer, Sheila flashed a grin over at her friend, holding two thumbs up. "Aaaaall right!!" she cheered - a little too conspicuously for something that was, at least in theory, supposed to be on the down-low. Evidently, John had noticed that, considering he went over to investigate the situation - something that made Sheila freeze in place, holding a hand to her mouth as her eyes went wide in shock. "...oops..." she muttered, before turning around to face John with an awkward smile. "Ah, heheh...you'd at least save juuuuust a little for me, riiiiiiight?"~ she said, looking up at him with the best Bambi-eyed look she could manage.

Molly's face, meanwhile, had lit up with a blush when Kennedy extended her offer for her and Harmonia to stay over, seeing the attention they were getting. But when Harmonia went on to gush about her in such loving detail, that blush would only get brighter, and her cheeks flushed hot. She let out a yelp in surprise, trying to bury her face into her scarf - but when she felt Harmonia squeeze her hand, she looked back at her girlfriend all the same, showing her a smile. It truly did mean a lot to Molly to know that in Harmonia she had someone to whom she meant the world - even if she was a little shy about her doing it in public.

Either way, though, when the rest of the Steele family showed up, Molly was quick to greet them. "Hiii!" she cheered, reaching her hand out to shake with Macy and Stella. "It's really been too long, hasn't it? How've you guys been? School going well?"

At the same time, Brianna introduced herself to Harmonia with a chuckle. "And it's lovely to see you around too, Superstar. Never gonna say no to knowing I've got another big fan out there...of course, I already got the biggest fans I need right here," she said, looking to Jonathan and the girls immediately before she blushed and cleared her throat. "Er, sorry, was that too cheesy? Anyway..." She leaned a little closer to Harmonia, flashing her a wink; the next words she spoke were delivered in a whisper, just for Harmonia's ears. "Just wanted to say...that open challenge is still a go, if you wanted to add another entry to your resume...I mean, of course, that you tried, because the belt isn't leaving my waist without a fight."

But it was Chelsea who truly felt the most surprised, when she suddenly heard Finella introduce her name - let alone pull her right into the center of the action. She got a few cheers, but even when the Scouser would ordinarily take pride in knowing she had such attention, that wasn't on her mind now - only the fact that she was bewildered Finella, the same woman who she had nearly torn to shreds, would do something like this for her. For a moment, she stared out into space, wide-eyed and blank-faced. She didn't even know what to say. She and Finella might have made amends, they may have been growing closer and closer by the day...but she never thought she'd see the day where the Wolf would want her at the center of it all. Let alone that this many people would even care to watch her. She paused, waiting for the laughter to come, or the punch line where Finella would reveal this was all a joke she was playing on her...but that never came.

Now, though, Chelsea knew every eye in the swiftly-growing crowd was on her. And if that was the way it was going to be...well, she wouldn't want to disappoint. She looked back at Finella with a nod and a wink, and a grin flashed across her face. Now, she knew, the two of them were at least somewhat friends. No, no, if Finella would do this for her...they were definitely friends. And she wouldn't disappoint her, either.

"Arright, errybody...are yous ready?!" Chelsea called out, turning her attention back to the crowd. As their cheers broke out again, she cleared her throat, sucked in a breath, and launched into the lyrics of the song, carried through on a voice that seemed so clear and angelic it seemed absurd to hear it coming out of Chelsea Forster's throat.

William looked over at Sheila’s cute and bribing child-like face as he chuckled upon hearing her begging for a little bit of the cake. John just smiled and patted her on the head as she really did give off “daughter he never had” vibes and she had a very adventurous spirit about her. William had said that Shiela grew up in the Outback so being around that dangerous territory could bring out the explorative soul out of any human being who dared to trek the hot desert. Not to mention, Sheila started out as a backyard wrestler before moving to Japan and becoming a Young Lioness. Now, she is about to go on a European excursion with all of them in USPW and her official career starts in Norway.

“I’m sure we’ll get plenty of cake. It’s provided William remembers us. He can always be a little selfish,” John teased as he looked over at the groom.

“The bowls of chili were worth it, assclown,” William insulted.

“Really? Worth going to the bathroom for over three hours?” John asked.

“I have a weak stomach!” William protested.

Meanwhile, Stella and Macy hugged Molly as they missed the other half of the British Bunnies. She was really nice to them and acted like a big sister to them both. Now that she was dating a celebrity and living the elite life with Harmonia, Molly had become ten times cooler in their eyes and she was definitely a role model they both looked up to besides their own parents. Jonathan had to chuckle to himself when hearing Brianna issue a reminder about her open challenge to Harmonia.

“Not that I don’t have faith in you, Bri, but be careful who you challenge. Harmonia is no slouch and if you thought Astrid was a hassle to get pass in the past, Harmonia will take you to the limits,” Jonathan warned. “But at the same time, don’t expect victory, Moni.”

Ryan had to raise an eyebrow at what George was asking for and he never quite understood his lingo. Ryan had helped George move Chelsea’s stuff from the former Bunnies flat into his upstairs apartment over at The Wolf and The Bunny pub. George even gave Ryan a job as a waiter and a bartender helping him make drinks and food behind the counter. He even took up an extra gig as a referee for when ladies would wrestle in mud or oil although Chelsea has talked with George about possible new ideas for the pub. Speaking of Chelsea, Ryan had to gasp hearing an angelic voice come right out of a usually gruff and grumpy Liverpool-born gal.

Seeing Finella cheering Chelsea on and by herself, Kennedy took a little peek at the wolf girl’s nice ass. She strolled up to Finella and smoothly put an arm around her sipping from her martini before addressing her sexy friend.

“Chelsea is so adorable out there. I’m glad she has a passion for music. I think she could go places if she really wanted to take another stab at a career,” Kennedy explained. “Hopefully, you can follow that dream too, cutie.”

Alaina breathed a sigh of relief when the plane landed and the whole family disembarked. The flight went much more smoothly than she anticipated. No meltdowns from the 9 year olds. Nothing. It was amazing.

Stretching her legs out was also good as she came out. The family all worse jeans, boots, and bright colors jackets. Blue for Charlie, red for Alaina and orange get for the kids. They stuck out and that is precisely the plan Alaina had in mind for the kids especially as they traveled.

"Well Allie here we are. Not often ya go to the wedding of someone who you are trying to wrestle against huh?" Charlie said as he snuck in a pat on Alaina's backside while the kids walked ahead.

"Easy tiger. We will have time to show that we still can swing but right now we need our bags and need to catch a Rose to our resort." Alaina said giving Charlie a wink.

"I know. I guess being probably one of the oldest and not-in-wrestling shape men around has me subconsciously wanting to prove I got something going." Charlie said with a shrug.

"Dad when can we go fun stuff?" 9 year old Carl asked as he looked up at Charlie.

Before Charlie could answer Carl's twin sister Anna was jumping in. "Dad can we please play on the snow or something soon? I want to build a super snow fort!"

"We'll get right to that once we get all situated don't you worry." Charlie said.

Alaina looked on and realized that she was only able to come back to the ring because Charlie was willing to stay home and be a super dad. The kids looked to him first, mom worked, trained and wrestled. Part of it stung Alaina and she knew she would be retired again someday potentially soon. The fact that they were older parents also meant Charlie was seemingly on a permanent advil regimen just to keep up with the kids.

"Hey isn't that the Austrian woman Tina wrestled not long ago?" Charlie said as he pointed to a blonde woman.

Alaina looked and sure enough it was Harmonia, a woman Alaina was somewhat familiar with and fully or hopefully on good terms with to some extent. She didn't want any in-ring drama around the twins. The family walked up and Alaina took the lead. "Hey there... are you here for the wedding too?" Alaina asked.

William would see Alania and her family starting to arrive waving a hand at the new friend he made all the way back in Japan. However, it looked like more than enough people showed up and the clock was ticking until he was suppose to get together with his fiancé. He checked his watch so he had a good knowledge on the time as he sent out a whistle to everyone. Bear barked once since it startled him, but Ryan pat him on the head to calm him down.

“Alright, everyone! Thanks to all that have come so far! We have others on their way, but we do have to start heading out. The snow is gonna keep coming down and the roads won’t be cleared for long. I arrange for some buses to pick us up,” William called out to his guests.

Everyone started grabbing their bags as Kennedy would stick with Finella putting her hand with hers so they held them together. Lyra followed Jonathan, Brianna, and their daughters while the guys would be the next ones out lugging their bags behind them. The snow barreled down in downtown Stavanger and two blue and silver buses were parked outside. William started helping everyone get their baggage in the first bus while John helped out others on the second one. Bear, Angel, Riley, Fenrir, and Anfield would be helped up the steps onto the first bus and would stay by their owners.

As the buses pulled into the airport, there was one passenger that stepped off of them - Astrid Osberg. The bride-to-be stepped down into the parking lot with a grin on her face, watching as the guests poured out of the airport. At the arrival of Alaina and her family, Astrid turned to the Amazon with a wave and a smile. "Alaina! You made it! How exciting to see you here," she cheered. Although she and Alaina were rivals when it came to the Heavyweight Championship, that didn't mean Astrid was going to hold anything against her. On the contrary, she had nothing but respect for Alaina, and for all the hard work and dedication she put into keeping up with the younger talent in LAW; she might have had a lot of years under her belt, but no one could deny that she could still go toe-to-toe with the best of them. That was a sign of dedication to the sport that Astrid couldn't help but admire. And when Alaina had inspired Astrid to take up wrestling from all the times she'd seen her wrestling against and alongside her father, she was honored to have her here. She couldn't imagine anyone better to be in attendance for a day like today.

But if there was anyone she was most eager to see, it was William. She took a few steps closer to her fiance, her arms spread wide to beckon him into a hug; and she would greet him with a kiss as he came near. "And you, of course, Will...don't think I've forgotten you."

Already, she could see there was a respectble turnout. Astrid wanted to get caught up with everyone, to ask about how their Christmases had gone and to hear what they'd been up to - but there would be plenty of time to do that after the wedding. For now, they needed to get going!

She turned to the first bus, with Sheila, Chelsea, and Molly following - Molly pulled Harmonia along with one hand, while Riley yanked on the leash she held in the other to lead her up the steps. She would seat herself in the seat behind Chelsea, while Astrid and Sheila would go for the seat with William - the Australian plopping herself down into the spot right beside William, forcing Astrid to sit next to her. Sheila didn't seem to see anything wrong with this; her face lit up with a grin as she glanced back and forth, taking in the sights and the snow falling outside the window. "You know, I've never been to a big wedding like this before! It's gonna be fun!"

Harmonia smiled as she saw Finella and Chelsea finally together, no hate or distain between them anymore but a deep friendship that had formed out of the fact that dispite their fighting, they both were, at the end of the day, more similar then they had ever admitted. She squeezed Mollys hand as they watched the three girls having fun, entertaining the whole gate.

Then she turned around as she heard a voice speaking to her and before she could answer another woman came forward that Harmonia did'nt had the time to greet. It were Alaina Sanders and Astrid Ostberg. The Austrian froze in place as she saw the two women chatting with each other. There was first Alaina, of course for a life long wrestling fan like Harmonia something of a goddess. Then there was Astrid, the Heavyweight Champion, a woman Harmonia greatly admired and looked up to. She was everything a real champ had to be.

The fact that she lost to Rose Gold was proof of nothing. Rose Gold was not even in worth thinking about. Astrid had fought like the hero she was and the Austrians heart beat faster. "Oh, Ah Hello, Frau Sanders my Harmonia is name. My Moni is Harname, uuuh..."

Then Astrid greeted Alaina and the Superstar stopped in her tracks, blushing, unable to talk to her heroes. But... Were'nt they on common ground now? Was'nt she just as worthy of standing here and talk with them as they were. She was the master student of Dana and she and Molly had faced the Swat Kats this summer for the Tag Team Title.

Harmonia cleared her throat. Yes, she was worthy of talking to them and she would!
"So..."
Suddenly Astrid and William called everyone to the busses and Harmonia stood there, a blank stare on her face, still holding Mollys hand who pulled her to the busses as Moni did'nt think that she was capable of walking on her own again. "I fucked up Molly...", she just said as they walked into the busses and leaned her onto Mollys shoulder, Riley between them. Then she saw Alaina taking Place with her husband and children right next to them and the Blonde took a deep breath. "Wish me luck, carrot.", she whispered as she leaned over.

"Sorry, Frau Sanders, we got a little distracted it seems. It is so nice to meet you my name is Harmo-"
When she finally wanted to professional and had found the courage to speak she got a big wet smack on her lips by Anfield the Bulldog who George had brought in.
"Oi, sorry Moni, did'nt see ye there!", the Brit said as Anfield licked Harmonias nose. "Its...ok...",she said with hanging shoulders looking at the puppy in front of her eyes.

Alaina smiled as Astrid stepped off the bus. "Hey! Congrats! We are all so happy for you!" Alaina said as she stepped aside pointing to her family. "This is my husband Charlie. Those two are our twins Anna and Carl." Alaina said as the kids waved and Charlie stepped up to shake Astrid's hand. Alaina saw that Astrid had to help herd people into the bus so she left her to that knowing they would get to talk later.

It was at that moment Alaina hard a commotion next to her and saw that Harmonia was with a big adorable dog and seemingly licked to death. "Oh! Yes Harmonia I saw you in action against Tina. You two really put on a hell of a show, it really came down to who got the big move off. Sometimes the matches that go either way up until the end are the most exciting of all to watch." Alaina said as she nodded to Harmonia. "I saw you and Molly beat Irish Oldschool too. Anyone who takes on big classic wrestlers like me catches my attention." Alaina said with a wink.

Riley saw the snow falling outside the window crossing over into Molly’s lap in order to look a little closer. His tail wagged furiously as every snowflake that hit the windows caught his interest and his attention was constantly attracted to more of them. There were also small whimpers that escaped him as he might act on his canine instincts to try and bite at the flakes falling. Anfield sniffed at the floor as Bear was in the seat next to Ryan laying his head in his lap taking a nap. Angel laid at the feet of her owners and licked Jonathan’s right leg as she perked her ears up and Jonathan rubbed her head to show her some love.

“So, what dress did you go with? We discussed a few options before you left for home, but I’m in the dark on what you went with,” Jonathan wondered to his wife.

Daniel had chosen to sit with Oscar and John sat down with Jack as they engaged in their own conversations. William’s fiancé and little buddy sat with him as Sheila remarked that she hadn’t been to a big wedding before and the big guy turned to his little partner-in-crime. Will touched the window and felt the coldness radiating off the window.

“Well, we’re pals, my little meat monster. Of course I was going to invite you and Astrid trains you so she would be happy to have you along for the ride. Heck, it’s going to be even sweeter when you come visit us on our new farm,” William replied.

William then thought of something as he turned over to his fiancé clearing his throat.

“You did cancel your classes for the first two weeks in January, right? We’re going to Fiji, remember?” William asked for confirmation.

Astrid had been well acquainted with Alaina for years now, but this was the first time she'd had the pleasure of meeting the rest of her family. The Norsewoman waved to them, greeting everyone with a bright smile. Though, of course, what made her blush the brightest of all was when she heard Alaina Sanders, the Amazon herself, tell her she was proud of her. If Astrid had the attention of the woman she had looked up to since childhood, and who had always inspired her to keep moving forward and accomplishing her dreams, then she would take it with pride - and having her blessings on this special day meant the world. "Oh, of course!" she said, smiling at the kids as they waved their hands to her. "I've heard all about them, of course. But it's lovely getting to meet them, after all this time!"

When it came time for Astrid to help everyone onto the buses, she turned to the others to get to work. It became clear that she wasn't the only one excited to see Alaina. Harmonia was stumbling over her words as she tried to get the veteran's attention - something that at first made Molly giggle a little, but when she confided in her on the bus, the Englishwoman frowned, seeing how stricken her girlfriend seemed to be. She leaned closer, squeezing her hand for support. "Don't worry, Moni...I'm rooting for you, alright?"

With Molly's encouragement, Harmonia made her move...and promptly got a big wet dog kiss for her efforts. Molly giggled at the sight, while Chelsea looked back over her shoulder - and she smiled, all the same. "Seems like 'e likes ye," she teased. When she did, her smile grew just a little bit wider. After so many long months of being on guard around the Edelsteins, of expecting a confrontation around any corner, it was good to be able to smile, and have a laugh just sharing their company.

Up front, Sheila was practically hopping up and down with excitement, a big grin on her face as she nodded her head to William. "You mean it? I get to visit you guys? That's awesome!~ I can't wait! When do we start?"

Astrid chuckled, rolling her eyes teasingly. "Seems you're more interested in inviting her than me!" she joked - but when William went on to talk about their honeymoon trip, she nodded her head. "Oh, yes! You didn't think I'd forget about something like that, did you? I want this wedding to be something we'll remember for the rest of our lives, Will. After all, we can only have it once..." Having said that, her eyes narrowed as she shot a more serious glare at William. "Right?"

Meanwhile, in the other bus, Jonathan and Brianna were discussing their own plans. The Wildcat Champion smirked as she pat her bags, winking over at her husband. "Oh, I have plans," she said, "but what's the fun in telling?"
