The Birth of Science: Mary Green [D] vs. Chelsea Loski

In the locker room, Mary pulled up her laces to her white wrestling boot and started tying them together. This would be her first match out of America and it was for a pretty good paycheck to boot. LAW had signed Mary a few days ago and already had her first opponent set for the Saturday taping for which she got a flight out to Japan as soon as she could. Weekends were the only time Mary could wrestle shows and they would be every other weekend since she had exams to grade and family to spend time with. Mary looked at her attire sporting a nice black sports bra and black wrestling tights with various periodical elements on her legs along with two beaker symbols. A stagehand called her out as Mary grabbed her white lab coat she wore to classes and made her way for gorilla as production played her theme music.



Mary came out with her hands together and did a respectful Japanese bow showing her gratefulness to be in Japan. Mary came down to shake hands and take pictures before walking for the ring apron. Mary went up the steps and waved to the crowd stepping between the ropes as she climbed one of the corners throwing a right fist in the air.

“The following contest is set for one-fall! Introducing first, making her debut in Japan, from Lincoln, Nebraska, Mary Green!

Mary watched from her corner Chelsea coming down the ramp and looking like she wouldn’t be far out of place on a cheerleading squad. Cheerleaders never did do well in her classes, but this was wrestling now and she had to contend with this younger veteran of the squared circle. Mary loosened her arms as Chelsea looked like she was seeking so much validation from the crowd and then she came ringside in order to step between the ropes. Chelsea asked about Mary being new to town and the chemistry teacher crossed her arms maintaining her professional posture.

“Why, yes, I am, Ms. Loski. It seems we were booked in a match together so I hope you’ll bring an effort worth a A+. If not, I’m afraid this will be an ultimate failure on your wrestling report card,” Mary stated with a confident smirk.

Trash talk wasn’t her strong suit, but it’s the best she had and she blushed from embarrassment hoping she didn’t sound dumb.

Chelsea looked at Mary with some surprise, she wasn't sure if Mary was being serious or if that was her idea of trash talking her. No matter what she was doing the thought of being graded in anyway was enough to give Chelsea some unpleasant memories of school work and that alone made her scowl while she watched the teacher turned wrestler.

"Sounds like I was brought in to give you're lessons something to keep eyes on them. Don't worry, after a night with me any student will be lining up to listen to you talk about what you learned from Chelsea Loski." Chelsea said confidently. She would step in close to Mary and stare her down for any signs that she could intimidate the teacher before they had to wrestle.

Mary huffed as Chelsea stood up to her, but the referee would keep both women separate in order to keep the peace before the bell. The science teacher may have been new, but she had three years of experience to back her up as well as an inventory of submissions. Chelsea might think she has the edge, but Mary won’t be the student in this match. She took off her lab coat and hung it on a corner getting ready as the referee signaled for the bell.

*DING! DING! DING!*

Mary circled Chelsea and offered to try an old school classic with tying up with the preppy youngster.

Chelsea was confident that she had this match before it began, Mary didn't seem intimidating and Chelsea knew that no amount of experience she had beat that of a former champion like herself. She went into the opening bell confident that Mary would be face down in the mat while Chelsea was celebrating another win and locked up with the same kind of confidence. The two struggled in the middle as the smaller Chelsea tried to pull her arm up so she could close in and wrap her arm around her waist.

Chelsea would try to lift her opponent up and bring her down to the mat so Chelsea could move up and get on top of Mary, allowing her to move her arm up form her waist to her head and pulling her close and trying to put pressure on her head so that she couldn't escape.

Mary would be taken down to the mat expertly by Chelsea, but before the smaller and prettier girl had a chance to pin down the science teacher, Mary pushed her off. Mary would scramble back to her feet knowing Chelsea had speed and agility on her side for this match. She needed to think over her next move carefully. Mary moved to circle around Chelsea and feinted like she wanted another lockup, but went for Chelsea’s right leg. If she could grab it, Mary would twirl around going for a leg take down!

Chelsea felt she was faster than Mary and with her speed could bring her down to the mat with ease, the downside to being smaller was Mary had an easier time pushing her off once Chelsea was on top. She tried to get above her only to feel Mary put enough distance between them for her to roll away and avoid Chelsea who could only get up quickly and move in after the teacher to see if she could keep up. Once Mary was on her feet she was quick to lock up with her, or at least she thought it was a lock up attempt when it was a feint instead.

"Huh? Aahh!" Chelsea screamed. Mary grabbed her legs before Chelsea could stop her and she was lifted up before she was brought down by Mary using her legs to hold her down. The slip up was frustrating and bringing her to back put her at a disadvantage, which was frustrating since Chelsea planned to start in complete control over the new girl.

Mary was by no means was an expert wrestler and had only been in the sport for three years so far. Not to mention this being her first time competing in a foreign country with wrestlers from all around the world when she just stuck part-time in America. However, she soon learned that her submissions were her best asset as she tried locking in a Figure Four Leg Lock on Chelsea to open up their match a little more. If Mary is successful, she wrenches hard on Chelsea’s legs trying to do as much damage as possible. If she could get Chelsea’s legs weakened a bit, it would slow her younger opponent down.
