Heated Introductions: Vega Nakai vs. Eris Boreas Greyrat

Vega's words were not received with appreciation from the redhead, who angrily shot forward with fist extended, landing a leaping punch that crashed into the Japanese fighter's cheek. Maybe she wasn't taking her opponant seriously enough, or maybe Eris was a bit quicker than she thought. Regardless, Vega felt the impact of the strike as spit flew out her mouth and she stumbled backwards a bit until she was met abruptly with the arm of the sofa.

Trying to steady herself and not fall over the arm and onto the sofa, she stuck out her arms for balance when her eyes caught a sight of a round cushion sitting nearby. Grinning, she grabbed a hold of the cushion.

"Well we aren't in a ring either, dummy!" she shot back as she chucked the cushion right at Eris's head.

Eris continued her advance towards her opponent and was stopped by taking a pillow in the face. Despite the fact that Eris wasn't used to fighting outside of a ring, her opponent was right that they weren't in the ring. She bent down with a sigh, calmly and took the cushion before throwing it in your face.

"So what? Because we're not in a ring, shouldn't I hit you?"

Eris crossed his arms following his words, in each of his fights Eris fought with his fists with the desire to knock out his opponent, would this be Eris' first fight without too much violence?

Vega couldn't help but let out a quiet chuckle as the cushion hit its target with a thump, and she stuck out her arm to parry it away when it inevitably came flying back to her.

Fully upright again, Vega looked across at Eris, who had her arms crossed. Was she confused, maybe? The Japanese fighter was willing to test that advantage regardless.

"Why, of course! I just think you are being a bit of a killjoy."

Suddenly, Vega darted forward and low to try to spear Eris to the floor, hoping to catch her off guard and maybe gain a position on top on the ground to test just how well her opposition would react to the fight getting a bit more up-and-close.

Eris stood with her arms crossed looking at her opponent in confusion. A fight without striking was quite unimaginable for Eris who is known to be violent at the slightest anger or fight. Eris was so confused that she forgot about the game and just thought about the situation until she was knocked to the ground, sighing softly in pain and then growling when she saw her opponent on her.

"We said we wouldn't hit each other!"

Eris was slightly annoyed by this milking attack, she raised her arms by sticking her two hands above her head then hit the belly of the woman sitting on her to make her leave.

Vega, now perched atop her opponent, could sense some frustration coming from the redhead below, drawing a deeper smile from her.

”I never said such a thing, maybe you should get your ears checked at the hospital after icing up from our match, hmm?” the raven-haired woman replied in slightly mocking but still fairly playful tone, eager to continually goad Eris on.

Straddling the redhead’s stomach but never truly keeping her prone underneath, Vega grabbed at Eris’s arms to try to pin them above her head to possibly get her in a more still position. She had no luck in doing so; Eris’s thrashing was a bit too unpredictable, and instead Vega caught a two-handed slammed fist to her gut.

Vega gritted her teeth from the impact, but was careful not to make too much of a face or sound; she wasn't sure yet whether her opponent was genuinely a rude person or just a hyper-competitor like herself, but regardless her own competitive side was determined to not show any signs of vulnerability. Adjusting her position a bit, she swung a leg over so that she was to one side of her. But she was not doing this just to let Eris back up, no, quickly she dropped an elbow with her body weight crashing towards her stomach.

With her opponent on top of her, Eris groaned in rage as she struggled for a moment to push her opponent back and find herself on top of her. Seeing her opponent's leg rise, Eris thought she had access to an opening and therefore sought to flee from there.
Unfortunately Eris stopped in her tracks with a nudge in the face, her head being crushed against the ground without her being able to say anything.

"Grrr..!"

Eris growled more and more with rage and her patient had a limit. If she couldn't get out, she just had to hit her opponent while lying down. So Eris punched her opponent's hip and kept punching the same spot several times hoping to give her opponent a big pain.

Vega crashed with a thud onto Eris, driving her elbow into her stomach. She could hear the discomfort coming from her opponent below from the impact, and Vega was determined to take control of the fight. Still in a somewhat cross-body position, she shoved the redhead’s face to the floor, pressing down with considerable weight to prove a point early.

"Are you mad that you picked a fight with someone you can’t handle, grumpy?" Vega mocked with a fake pout as she continued to press down on Eris’s face, eager to continue to goad her on.

It seemed to work, at least in making Eris even more angry. Vega began to feel a sharp pain in her side as the redhead began to furiously punch her hipbone repeatedly, causing her to grimace and bit down on her lip again.

"Aghh!" Vega bailed from her position on top to instead grab at Eris’s wrists to try to get her to stop, as well as position her hip away from harm’s way. In doing so she rolled onto the floor next to the angry Eris, face-to-face and with some lingering pain.

Eris continued to punch her opponent's hand until it grabbed her hands and let go of her face. She groaned slightly when she saw her opponent not letting go of his hands, but Eris continued to move her arms to try to free them, even if it was going to tire her more than anything. However, she didn't stop there and Eris lifted her foot to kick her opponent's stomach, trying to push her back to free her arms and finally recover some energy. It was a best of 3, the two women had plenty of time to win this match which was going to be exhausting.

Vega was getting a bit annoyed with Eris's thrashing; it appeared wild and arbitrary but it managed to sting a bit whenever she did land blows, which was a fairly common occurrence. Even though the noirette was able to grab a hold of the redhead's wrists to somewhat control and limit the attacks, the pulling back and forth was taking just enough toll on her energy to keep her mind flush with irritation.

Just enough of a distraction, maybe, so that Eris was able to gather herself unnoticed to launch a kick at Vega's stomach, eliciting a groan from the latter.

"Unnf!" Vega let go of Eris's wrists and let the momentum of the kick separate the two fighters, rolling a short distance away before gathering herself to a kneel to catch her breath, glaring ahead at her feisty opponent.

"You are an angry little bitch, aren't you?" Vega exclaimed, unaware of her own tone becoming ironically increasingly angry as well, as she began to get back to her feet and plan her next attack; eyes never leaving her adversary.

Eris was the type of woman to use her instincts and her wild side to fight, she didn't think often and it was this way of fighting that gave her her nickname, the Mad Dog. Eris was obviously stronger and more difficult to control when she was angry, but she still had very big weak points which were going to be obvious for the rest of the match.

Her opponent freed her and walked away from her, finding herself a little out of breath after taking so many blows. She was clearly trying to save time by talking to Eris but the Mad Dog was not the type to argue in the middle of a match, she threw herself on the black haired woman to pounce on her and end up on her again. If she will succeed, she will continue to hit her opponent with her fists, it was what Eris knew how to do best in her condition.
