Huan got into the cage and stretched a little before cracking her knuckles. Somehow getting in between these steel always had a relaxing effect on her, probably because of how much time she spent here, it was after all a big part of her life.

Then she heard the other women speak. "Oh? It's not that I don't like it but it seems very formal. It seems strange to hear that at the gym, especially before a spar, in its own way, soaring and fighting is a rather intimate affair." She replied, hopping from one leg to the other to relax her muscles before getting into a stance.

Alice jumped in place before taking an open-handed, hunched over and with one foot behind the other stance. Chuckling weakly, she added with a sharp look, "You make it sound like something you love." And she don't know whether to be happy about it or worry about fanning the flame too much.

She was not that cold as not to see the longing in Huan's eyes. "When was the last time you stepped into an octagon?"

Huan chuckled. "That obvious, huh? Well, you don't get where I got without loving what you do. I think it goes for most things in life" She replied as she started to slowly circle Alice, keeping a close eye on her stance and movements.

Then she went forward and threw two jabs to start before replying to her question. "Not that long ago, LAW decided to put me in the octagon from time to time." It was just a sparing so at least for now, they could keep talking without issue.

She didn't stay stoic, she rotated trying to keep it always in her fixation point, always keeping one heel raised in her steps. But her whole body was a little tense from Huan's round-up. She's a sparring partner, but that doesn't detract from her relevance.

Alice just mumbled assertively at what she was saying, avoiding blinking as much as possible. And when Huan advanced against her, Alice stepped back to receive it with a different stance. At Huan's first immediate jab, she swung to the right to evade it, and with the second; Alice had to pivot underneath her and look to give an uppercut to the chin to push her back and gain space.

Regardless of whether that punch was somewhat effective or not, it was already benign in itself, Alice continues her chat. "So, is it true that you take the struggle as a new change or do you just like the suits?", joke more casually.

Huan leaned back to get out of the way of the punch before throwing a push kick to build some distance between her and her oponent.

"It is different, in mma, ending the fight quickly was not an issue, it really went over a minute for me but here, nobody wants to see that. It's more showy." She replied as they circled before throwing a round kick to Alice's right side.

The first kick does its job, widening the distance between them, but Alice follows preventing her from retreating. But it didn't do much good, because Huan unleashed a Roundhouse Kick that the secretary could barely block with one arm, shuddering with the effort and pressing it to her cheek.

It was almost a good blow to the head, but she wasn't going to miss that opportunity, she tries to grab that ankle and pass her other arm under Huan's thigh to execute a judo throw, supported on its strength and torque that that blow imparted. If she succeeds, Alice will try to roll over Huan's back, as fast as she can, to wrap that leg around her own shoulders and give her an Over the Shoulder Single Leg Boston crab.

Regardless of whether this works or not, she will continue with what she wanted to say: "Doing it a couple of- phg!..., of times is interesting, but it 'always', has to raise doubts. And... everyone here-, hmm-...-m!, wants to see what move you make, not how fast you finish it".[color]

Huan impacted the mat with a loud thud before being pulled into a boston crab. She gritted her teeth before reaching for Alice's leg and pulling to force her to fall down, releasing her from the hold. That would be followed by her quickly mounting her back, throwing a few punches to the side of her head before trying to lock a rear naked choke. She wouldn't squeeze as hard as usual, there was little point to that in a friendly spar.

"Yeah, different sport, besides just look at other match types. The show is what matters here."

The hold was forcing her to arch backwards, further exposing her to the risk of being locked into Huan's full choke. But the woman was imposed herself, gripping the choke arm tightly to catch her breath, grit her teeth, and stand up with those 82 kilos stuck to her back.

"Yes... ph. That. I KNOW!!!" She said, dropping backwards on the tiptoes to hit the ground with Huan. There was no guarantee that would loosen the arms around her neck. Rather, she would end up sold out to be trapped in a position from which she can only escape by fainting if the fight was serious. So if she failed, she would just pats Huan's arm to surrender and restart the round.

"What about you, Huan Lei? Isn't there anything else you'd like to talk about apart from work?", It is very strange that she is the one who doesn't want to talk about work anymore.

Given how Huan locked in the choke, as they fell her forearm pushed only harder onto the back of Alice's neck making the whole even tighter despite the impact Huan received in the process. Regardless, when the tap came, she would release the other women.

As she got back to her feet, she offered the other women a hand to stand up. "Hmmm, not sure what else to talk about, we have just met. Though granted you know more about me than I about you so why don't you tell me something about yourself?"

The fall had proved very noxious, but against herself. The collapse against the canvas caused Huan's arm to sink more harder into Alice's throat to the point of making her instinctively wallow in the choke as she choked on her spasmodic coughing.

Yes, it was a very bad manoeuvre on her part. It didn't take many seconds between her trying to loosen the lock and Huan not giving in, for Alice to drum her hand on biceps of the other to submit. And when Huan let her go, Alice rolled on and sat down on the tarpaulin for a moment to rub her throat, nothing serious in her terms, but she could do with a sip of water to kill the scratchiness. Huan's sporting gesture was welcome, lifting herself up with a tug of her own towards that brunette, but the question she asked for fraternisation was questionable... for the time being.

"something like I'm the right-hand woman of a roster owner?" She said before and after taking a sip and giving a shrewd look. "Or as that -do I have to have to watch over them so that they comply with their routines?" she exemplified. "There's not much I can tell you, I'm pretty ordinary, Huan... Lei." She had this urge to dump her stress on someone else and frankly she would rather repress it than make someone else her executor of surmountable sorrows. So she put the thermos on the frame of the cage entrance and she returned to the sparr with other instincts while surrounding Huan with a plan in mind.

"...You're really good at gripping, aren't you?" the firmness of her arms when they were around her neck hinted at that.
