Sakura Tanahashi sat on a bench in the locker room. Tonight was the night she'd been preparing for for over a month. Her heart was beating a mile a minute as she tapped her foot. She was so nervous.
Deep breaths, Sakura, deep breaths, she told herself. She looked down at her outfit. She wore a pair of jeans, and her breasts were wrapped up in bandages, as were her hands, the tape forming fingerless gloves. The revealing outfit showed her developing arms, growing more muscular by thr day, and her blooming abs. She'd say she looked good, hot even.
Her opponent, based on their brief twitter interactions, seemed like a nice girl. But Sakura had been taught not to let things like that make a difference. She doubted Annie was gonna hold back either, which made her even more nervous. It was then that her trainer, Skylar Jones, walked in, sitting down next to her.
"How you feelin', girl?" She asked with a warm smile, gently hugging her mentee from the side. Sakura sighed.
"Nervous." She said, leaning in and cuddling with Sky. Skylar tapped her foot. She might as well give her kouhai some guidance.
"Sakura... Lemme tall you somethin' you already know. The world, it ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean n' nasty place, and I don't care who you are, it's gonna beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. Ain't nobody gonna hit as hard as life, man. But it ain't about how hard you can hit. It's about how hard you can get hit, and keep going. How kuch you can take, and keep. Moving. Forward. That's how winnin's done!"
Sakura looked up at her mentor, somewhat surprised by such wise words.
"You're right." She grinned, hopping up to her feet, pumping her fists. It was like there were stars in her eyes.
"I'm gonna get back up no matter what that girl throws at me, and I'm gonna fucking win!" Skylar smiled.
She hasn't seen Rocky, thank god.
"The following contest is set for one fall! Accompanied to the ring by Skylar Jones, making her L.A.W debut, from Osaka, Japan, weighing in at 129 pounds, SAKUUUUUURRRAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH TANAHASHIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!"
Sakura took one last deep breath, before stepping out onto the stage, and taking in the audience. The cruise ship was filled with cheering spectators, who welcomed the Young Lioness with cheers. Skylar followed behind with a smile.
"Once that bell rings kid, it'll be official. You'll be a wrestler." She said, to which Sakura confidently nodded.
As she climbed onto the ring apron, Sky patted her on the back.
"Kick some fuckin' ass!" She grinned, standing at ringside. With a small smile, Sakura bowed to the audience, before shadowboxing as she waited for her opponent.
