Antonia the "Oscar"-Worthy Trainer

"Correction. I know so. And you're welcome." Antonia responded, being petty about her pride in smothering. Always one to pay close attention to detail, the ant indeed caught Oscar's faint blush. But the bantering would stop, as the general listened to her trainee answer her question. The Barbarian Prince seemed to have trouble being specific with his reply, but he did come up with something the blonde could work with.

"Indeed, I can." She responded. "We'll see how things progress, if you end up recalling more details. But this is what we'll do. It's the opposite of the last exercise. This time, you will come at me with an attack. And I shall physically show you the best means of defending/countering against it. We can start with any type of kick. A dropkick, perhaps. If you believe you can pull one off. Let's commence."

Antonia went to the opposite side of the ring, waiting for Oscar to come at her. Given the implications of Antonia physically responding to Oscar's attacks, it seemed things were about to get plenty intense again. And the striker's intimidating fighting stance was a good indicator of that!

Oscar would get up off the canvas as he listened to Antonia's instructions, rolling his neck and stretching his legs before taking up his own stance and adopting a more serious tone. Things were going to get more intense and the young lion didn't seem like he was going to back down. Taking the general's advice based on how she started her attacks, Oscar would simply nod his head before turning to the ropes- bouncing off of them and sprinting at Antonia before attempting to deliver a mighty missle dropkick at the trainer!

Despite his tall, large frame, Oscar was indeed able to pull off a dropkick. And it was Antonia's job to physically educate him on how to deal with it. Though Oscar outweighed Antonia by far, the ant general skillfully managed to catch both of his legs, right outta the air! She then slammed her trainee, back-first against the closest turnbuckle! If Oscar fell into a seated position, Antonia would approach her trainee, before turning her plump bum towards him. Afterwards, Antonia would give Oscar a stinkface, booty smothering him in the corner to tease him. "I said I didn't need to put my posterior on your face again. I didn't mention not wanting to..." Antonia explained. Though she'd get off of him sooner this time, not even pulling her shorts down beforehand. The general wanted most of Oscar's attention to be focused on how to counter a dropkick, after all.

"I'm impressed you were able to pull that off with such solid form." Antonia admitted, turning around to face him. "There was nothing wrong with your dropkick, but allow me to explain how I countered it. After moving to the side to avoid your feet, I caught your legs in both my arms. Then, using gravity, my own strength, and the momentum of your own move against you, I proceeded to swing you into the corner post. Thankfully, given your muscular frame, I believe this shouldn't be very hard for you to pull off against someone else. Next time someone attempts to dropkick you, follow my flawless example. Understood?"

Oscar's eyes widened as Antonia grabbed onto his legs and even shouted out in surprise and pain as he was swung around, winding up against the turnbuckle hard enough to make the post shake and leave him in a seated position! The Barbarian Prince groaned as he tried to recover from that quick lesson in physics before looking up and finding Antonia's booty pressed in his face again! With no time to take a breath like last time, the young lion was forced to simply endure the stinkface for as long as he was able to but thankfully his trainer did get off him a lot sooner. Taking the chance to gulp down some air as the blush in his cheeks faded, Oscar would look up and speak to Antonia in response to her teasing with some of his own.

"I don't blame you at all. It seems quite a few people around LAW love to try and smother me out. Always happy to have another fan if you're enjoying yourself, hehehe"

Oscar let out a chuckle as he grabbed onto the ropes to pull himself up to a standing position, listening to his trainer's explanation of how she was able to do what she did to him. The young lion scrunched his face up in thought as he processed the information on momentum and strength, the gears grinding in his head as he cooked up an idea.

"That... I could really make something work out of that. Maybe transition the counter into a giant swing instead of just a quick throw into the ring post? After all, the more momentum the better"

"Glad you seem to appreciate my succulent backside. I may have to take you up on that. Your face is rather comfy." Antonia teased, before listening to Oscar's response to her lesson. The Young Lion came up with another follow-up to catching the dropkick, going for a giant swing instead. "Suggesting to your teacher something other than my flawless technique, eh?" Antonia said, raising an eyebrow at her trainee. "Hmmph. Though upon further consideration, I threw you at the turnbuckle to set up for a stinkface, as I am very smother-inclined. You however should get the most out of a giant swing, so your suggestion earns my stamp of approval, which means you may now take delight in it."

Antonia then went to the other side of the ring, from were she had stinkfaced Oscar. "So, you mentioned the possibility of recalling other moves that tend to land on you a lot. Anything else come to mind? If not, just come at me with any other attack, and I'll demonstrate how to counter it once more." The general explained.

"Oh, such a generous offer- but I'm not really that into rears. Besides- my girlfriend might get jealous"

Oscar laughed quite a bit as he teased Antonia back. He had to admit it- while the army ant was definitely one of the strictest people he's met so far in his still blooming wrestling career, he couldn't help but enjoy cracking wits with her. It wasn't often he got to enjoy showing the cheekier side of him, and honestly there was something about doing it with someone as serious as Antonia that made it all the more enjoyable. When he settled down, he sighed and listened to his instructor continues on about the subject of him recalling some moves commonly used on him.

"Hmm... Aerial attacks for sure. My girlfriend and her friends enjoy using them and I've been on the receiving end of quite a few. What wisdom do you have to bestow onto me, O general Aunt?"

Despite the seriousness and intensity of the training, Oscar still cracked a smile and chuckled as he enjoyed the banter with his instructor.

Antonia was slightly disappointed that Oscar seemed to deny her smothery offer, but she moved on from the topic. She could always find another excuse to smother him later. Now she needed to focus on training the Young Lion.

"Aerial attacks in general?" Antonia responded. "Well we have the dropkick down. But I'll say the first step is predicting when your adversary may preform an aerial attack. Typically, they'll run towards the ropes or a turnbuckle, with the intention to mount them. But some high-flyers can also preform their moves, after springing up from the mat. My dear comrade and stablemate, Honie B. Bea is a prime example. I take it that you've seen some of her bouts? Aerial stomps and Superman punches are just two of the attacks she can preform in this matter. So come at me with one of those."

General Aunt got into position once more, waiting for Oscar to attack her with one of those two moves. Antonia was a defensive wrestler, and one of the best people to educate the Young Lion on said subject!

Oscar noted Antonia's disappointment but made a point to bring it up later. After all- he really didn't mind the idea of helping out a friend with stuff they liked. It was sort of like how he helps Tina and the gang out with bearhugs, only that he'd be on the receiving side of things instead. Heck, it could make for good endurance training since he figured he was bound to get smothers far more often in LAW due to how common the moves seemed to be. The barbarian Prince's eyes lit up at the mention of Honie, remembering the incredible bout he saw between the heroine of the hive against Gold Liger.

"Oh! Yeah! I have! She and I chatted a few times on her Twitter page and I've seen a lot of her matches. She's amazing! I certainly wouldn't mind learning how she can jump around like that so easily. I... well, if you haven't guessed already I'm a fan of hers!"

Oscar chuckled to himself as he rolled his arms to get ready per Antonia's instructions.

"Superman punch, huh? Alright- I can do that!"

Oscar would rebound off the nearest set of ropes for some extra speed before making a fist and leaping through the air towards his instructor- attempting to nail her right across her cheek with a mighty superman punch!

Of the two moves Antonia suggested, Oscar decided to come at the army general with a Superman punch! The middleweight watched carefully, as her trainee rebounded off the ropes, before coming right at the red ant! When Oscar jumped into the air, Antonia determined from his motions how he would strike. This time, Armie would snap her head to the side, avoiding Oscar's punch with a perfect dodge. The blonde then proceeded to grab the man's punching arm, pulling him down to the mat in front of her, and bringing her leg up for a sharp knee strike. Antonia's knee would strike Oscar's abs, before the bug would aim to follow it up, by karate chopping the male's back. The combination of the two powerful strikes would likely bring Oscar to the mat, assuming they both landed.

Regardless of the outcome, Antonia would give another lesson of course. "I assume that defensive technique was self-explanatory." She snickered. "But I take it you should be noticing a theme here. If you can anticipate a foe's aerial attack, you can counter it by using both gravity and their body weight against them, especially if you snag one of their limbs."

"Oh and regarding Honie, I'm pleased to be informed your such a big fan of my larva. Perhaps, my next training session with you should include a sparing session with her. We're focusing on dodging and countering for today. But perhaps Honie herself can teach you more about aerial offense. I'm perfect at teaching all around of course, but I'll admit that's more of Honey Bun's style."

The good news was that from what he picked up so far with Antonia, Oscar was very quick to react when the ant dodged his punch. The young lion would tense his abs up to try and absorb the impact with some success but would be unable to stop the karate chop to his back. Oscar hissed as he could feel the stinging in both targeted spots, even when he tightened his abs and found himself lying down on the canvas as he placed a hand over his back.

"Yup... definitely seeing the pattern here"

Oscar nodded as he took a moment to push himself up so he was sitting down, looking at Antonia as he continued explaining what he's figured out about countering.

"The key to any good counter mostly relies on using an opponents moment against them. Gravity, body mass, and speed all factor into this. Do i have all of that right?"

Oscar smiled as he was feeling pretty big brained at the moment, listening to Antonia as he got to his feet before smiling quite happily at Antonia's suggestion.

"That sounds perfect! We've talked about the idea of sparring or training before so I'd be honored to learn from her. Aerials could be really handy if I can make it work. After all, I'm sure two hundred twenty-five pounds of anything flying through the air and hitting someone would be REALLY effective"
