Eve Summers vs Hikaru Sawazaki (Apex Qualifier)

Hikaru was in her third qualifying match for Apex and while yes she did complete two matches previously she managed to lose them both. She was going up against Eve who had built some momentum recently so Hikaru knew she had a tough matchup ahead. However the young technical wrestler was going to do her absolute best to get in there and pull off what many would consider the upset victory over Eve. Hikaru knew she was an undercard staple on the roster, and while she was nearing 20 losses unlike some women around here she did compile 10 wins so that was something right?

Her music began to play and the crowd gave a polite cheer for the wrestler who always stepped out to do her best regardless of the outcome. She was a clean fighter and people gave her the respect she had earned from that. She walked down the ramp, waving to the crowd before waking up the ring steps to enter the ring. She held her hand up and did a lap around the ring before settling into her corner to await for her flashier, favored opponent. She was going to be ready and Hikaru would make Eve pay if she underestimated her.

The crowd exploded with hype to see the renowned DJ turned wrestler appear upon the entrance ramp once her music hit the PA system at high volume! Eve's entrance was as energetic as her personality as it always was. She wowed the crowd with her stunning appearance, cheering and playing up to the energy tonight! She made her way down to the ring, walking with confidence as she eyed her opponent for tonight but wore a winning smile towards Hikaru having nothing but respect for her. As far as she was concerned the two were very much of the same ilk, both on heavy losses on the sheet, but both doing what they could and still scoring occasional wins despite this. Eve began to tag outstretched hands, heading in quick succession towards the ring.

She slid into the ring, taking a turnbuckle before throwing her arms up to drink in the standing ovation! Slowly she leapt down from the turnbuckle and looked towards Hikaru once more with a beaming smile on her face. Tonight was her third Apex qualifier... if she could win this one, perhaps she had a good chance at getting through. It seemed like such a dream, but now it was becoming a reality!
"Hey beautiful! Best of luck tonight, whatever happens lets just try and have a little fun and entertain the crowd yeah?" DJ couldn't help but say, offering her hand out to shake before the bell would ring as a mark of respect.

Hikaru smiled and nodded to Eve as she extended her hand. Hikaru shook it and smiled. "Lets. This will be quite entertaining." She said. Hikaru knew Eve was unconventional, so Hikaru was going to make everything as conventional as possible. As the bell rang she circled Eve and then moved in trying to grapple with Eve and jockey for position! Hikaru wanted to move Eve nearer to the ropes so she could drop to her knees and lean, flipping Eve over her shoulders onto the mat with a small fireman carry toss!

Eve gasped out, as Hikaru began to take initiative once the bell rang, making the match get underway. The crowd began to cheer both competitors, as another Apex Qualifer was underway! With the crowds chanting, Eve struggled against Hikaru, feeling her rush her and begin to push her towards the corner. Eve in a moment of quick thinking managed to lift one foot up, managing to catch the turnbuckle in an attempt to try and stop Hikaru's progress... however, all that did was work in her opponents favour. With Eve lifted slightly, Hikaru was able to better navigate her, throwing her over her shoulders before carrying her across.

The momentum sent Eve sailing through, before she was slammed down hard against the ring surface below. She gasped out again, this time in pain, arching and bridging her form, before she tried to roll and scramble to her feet, leaving her open for a potential follow up.

Hikaru saw up and saw Eve rising as well. She wanted to keep things slow and technical. Hikaru could do this....

She reached put to wrap and arm around Eve's head, twisting her torso to toss Eve to the mat while keeping the headlock applied after landing to put the squeeze on Eve all while slowing the pace of the match.

Eve gasped out, with Hikaru managed to keep the momentum on her side. In a skillful fashion, she was able to capture Eve's head with a powerful grasp, securing her head to the side of her body before squeezing in a headlock. Eve felt the pressure grow, grimacing as she tried to struggle free to no avail. However, given her position she began to think fast, managing to wrap her arms around Hikaru's body.

Still fresh with the match just beginning, Eve grimaced, looking to squeeze Hikaru's slender form, before trying to lift her upwards of her feet! It was clear the British wrestler on her third Apex Qualifer match was trying to land a backdrop upon her aggressive opponent to try and break the hold and swing the momentum into her own favour!

Hikaru was lift up and cried out in surprise as things came crashing down for her! Hikaru hit the mat hard and groaned in pain, flopping to the side and kicking the mat. The backdrop caught her off guard and snapped her momentum leaving Eve in control while the writhing Hikaru was on the mat in pain. Her promising start disappeared and now Eve was in the drivers seat, something Hikaru was hoping to avoid. Now she would be on the defensive and that would be difficult given her current situation.

Eve looked to keep the momentum going, seeing that Hikaru did not take the slam all so well after her body kicked out and arched, eating all the impact of the backdrop Eve managed to pull off. She was not done with her opponent, at least not yet, as she quickly reached down and grasped her by the head, looking to pick her back up to her feet.

With her match against Lauren still fresh in her mind from the other week, Eve was quick to slip an arm between Hikaru's legs, grasping her body before she wrapped an arm around her shoulder. In a display of impressive power for the normally high flying Middleweight class wrestler, Eve was quick to hoist Hikaru upwards, shifting her body in the air before she looked to slam her down to the mat for a body slam!

Not want to settle with one move, Eve was quick to show off her skills, looking to soon leap upwards and flip in the air, hoping to senton splash Hikaru whilst she was down, fresh after the vicious bodyslam she managed to inflict upon her!

The start of the Match was now spiraling out of control for Hikaru as she was lift up and slammed hard to the mat! She groaned and kicked in pain unable to move as Eve kept up the pressure crashing down hard on top of Hikaru!

"Arrrrrrrggghhhh...." Hikaru moaned, kicking the mat in pain while trying to roll away from the surging Eve.

Eve was not so willing to let her opponent escape. She saw Hikaru trying to roll away and was quick to pounce after her. It was then she tried to wrap her legs around her neck, hoping to catch her and bring her into a headscissors hold. It was not quite enough for Eve to go for the standard variation of the hold however. She reached for Hikaru's wrists, trying to bring her deeper between her powerful thighs.

With a quick adjustment, she tried to hook one of her legs around the ankle of her other, her intent clear to try and get a frontal figure four headscissor hold upon her foe. If successful, Eve then looked to lean back and begin squeezing her, tensing up her thighs as she pulled on her ankle to try and increase the pressure of the hold upon Hikaru.
