Morgan Frey vs Hathor (Apex Qualifier)

Hathor groaned while she was down on the mat, nursing her head after taking the fall. How upsetting it was to be fooled and brought low to mat early. It wasn't the first time that she had found herself in a daze, attempting to keep herself afloat as she shook her head to wake herself up. She didn't have much time to dwell as she thought as Morgan decided to continue her attack, falling down upon her with an elbow strike straight down to her chest, knocking the air out of her almost completely.

The crowd wasn't at all into it, booking and calling Hathor out as a rookie, "Damn it... shut up you filthy...damn it..." she called out aloud as she clutched at her chest. The Iranian woman would try to push Morgan off if she was still on her, coughing up as she brought back air into her lungs, "You're to blame for this!"

Hitting Hathor with an elbow drop, Morgan managed to deal more damage on her. It seemed that this had left Hathor extremely irked, especially when the crowd started heckling her. Before Morgan could do anything, she was then pushed off by Hathor, so she would rise back up onto her feet before she bent down to grab Hathor by her head, pulling her up as well.

Knowing that Hathor was still winded from the elbow drop, Morgan would try to hit her with a knee strike to her gut, looking to have her gasping for air. Right after that, she would lock her head under her arm, putting her in a front facelock in preparation for her next move.

"Hey, let me go," Hathor groaned as Morgan continued her control of the match. It was infuriating that she was being ruled over by a smaller foe so easily it appeared, the only sign of resistance being when Hathor pushed Morgan off of her quickly just a few moments ago, but what mattered was the now and when the knee struck flesh a gasp of air soon followed. This debilitating strike, while only temporary, was enough for Frey to put her into a front facelock, Hathor quickly attempting to escape her opponent's clutches.

With a mighty heave, she'd attempt to wrestle an arm back behind Frey, attempting to push her with enough force towards the ropes, trying to break free. From there, she'd try to throw an arm out for a potential clothesline, quickly closing the gap on her opponent for the follow up.

While Morgan managed to drive her knee into Hathor's belly, she somehow failed to secure her grip around her opponent's head in the front facelock. As she failed to put Hathor in the front facelock, she found herself pushed towards the ropes, and unable to stop herself, she was sent towards the ropes, where she rebounded from them before returning back to her opponent.

When she returned back to Hathor, Morgan was then struck by her opponent's clothesline, hitting her right at her upper chest. "AUGHH!!" She was knocked off her feet, falling onto her back. Grimacing, she wouldn't stay on her back for long as she would try to roll herself over to the side before getting herself on all four, though she would be exposed to whatever Hathor might do next.

As soon as Frey hit her arm, she knew that the clothesline was a success, making sure that when her opponent fell on the mat that there wouldn't be any immediate reprisals or counters against her. She was already upset that she had been shown up so far in this match by the smaller wrestler, but it was of no concern to her. She was going to dominate this little pest right before the audience. She would pursue this immediately, taking a few steps away before lining up the smaller Frey before coming at her again.

Now on her hands and knees, it was the perfect opportunity to strike Frey with little time for her to get out of the way. With a rush of adrenaline and focus on the spot of her intended target, Hathor would descend upon her opponent, running towards her before raising a leg in up wide in the air before coming down towards the head. An axe kick, one that was hoping to catch that noggin in a painful position of receiving such a strike. Such a short time span, only the naturally shaking of the ring telling her of the impending attack.

Trying to recover after taking the clothesline from her opponent, Morgan was on her hands and knees as she would focus on picking herself up. But Hathor seemed determined to continue with her momentum as she came after her, going for an axe kick right on her head. Unable to prevent herself from being struck, Morgan got her head hit by the axe kick!

"UAGHHH!!"

Morgan was knocked down again, fell onto her stomach. She clutched her head that was struck by the kick, and now, she was in quite a precarious position. Things didn't look good for the petite lightweight, and Hathor would surely take advantage of this now that Morgan was unable to defend herself from whatever Hathor had in her mind.

Hathor's leg would slam down upon the body of Frey, striking her dead square in the head for a good amount of damage. For her part, Hathor seemed graceful, even after all the hits that she had taken, looking like much an agile sort of fighter that her lithe body seemed to portray her as. The crowd as well loved the view of a split upward leg for a few moments. Her plan was well set now, Frey was likely unable to get back up for the time being, which gave the Iraqi woman some time to prepare a far more devastating move upon her foe.

"And now you shall suffer my final verdict, sending you to the afterlife for your impudence!" Hathor would shout out loud in a great spectacle and show, pointing towards her as if she was that of an Egyptian pharoah herself. She'd be happy once she pitched this gimmic, it so wasn't her. It was time for one of her more signature moves, walking over towards the nearest turnbuckle and scaling its height to the top rope. Arms spread wide, she would stand there for a moment before jumping off forward towards Frey. It was a flying headbutt, her Wife of the Pharoah as she called it, the most dangerous move she knew.

Things didn't look too good for Morgan as she was laid out on the mat, on her stomach. And Hathor then made her spiel about giving her a verdict and sending her to the afterlife. Morgan couldn't quite hear her, and she remained on the mat as Hathor prepared herself to make her move, climbing up the turnbuckle, looking to execute an aerial maneuver.

Morgan could tell that if she remained idle, things would be much direr for her. But her body was too slow to follow her command as her opponent leaped off the turnbuckle, executing quite a dangerous move where she leaped up into the air to hit her with a flying headbutt. Unable to move away, Morgan took the flying headbutt to her body, causing her to scream out in pain.

"NGYAAHHHH!!!"

The strike was equally as painful and dangerous for the practitioner as well, slamming her head down upon Frey's exposed stomach, rocking her consciousness for a bit after the impact. Flying headbutts were always a danger, but their pay off was assured if they struck, deriving pain from her foe as she could heard the cry erupt from her opponents lips. She had hit and now she had this in the bag. All Hathor had to do was bring an arm up and over, pulling Frey into a position that would allow her to start a pin count. The referee would slide in, readying the had as Hathor pinned Frey down with one arm.

"1..." counted the referee as their hand slapped the canvas.

Struck by Hathor's flying headbutt, Morgan groaned out in pain, her stomach throbbed after taking the headbutt from her opponent. As for Hathor, she then went for a pinfall attempt, pinning Morgan. The referee started counting the pin, and Morgan could her the counts.

"TWO!"

Gritting her teeth, Morgan would exert her strength to kick out after two, bucking both her legs and breaking the pin. The referee stopped counting, and the match would continue.

Groaning, Morgan would shove Hathor off of her as she would place her hand on the spot that was struck by the flying headbutt earlier. The damage seemed to have weakened her, though she was still able to fight.
