Background:

There was nothing more that Renee craved more than a good fight. Suffice to say, she was quite the troublemaker in school and got detention a lot for picking fights. Renee was considered the toughest girl around and it was a crime punishable by death to mess with her. Eventually, she mellowed and matured into her younger adult years and turned to competing in mixed martial arts and enter the cage in order to get her name out there. Shelley started at 19 and ended her career at 24 putting on five years worth of memorable bouts that even got her on talk shows and news outlets for some intense moments throughout her career. Many saw her as a future top star, but Renee never wanted to keep it going wanting to focus on dating her then-girlfriend, Grace Holler.

Grace and Renee met in her one of her matches as Grace was a ring card girl for a local promotion in Australia. However, the couple could never fulfill their wishes of tying the knot as gay marriage was illegal in the country. Renee fought back against the government as an LGBT activist and attended protests becoming a leader of a small group she called The Gay Marriage Australian Initiative (TGMAI). On December 9th, 2017, Renee and her group got their wishes as the government declared gay marriage legal and she married Grace on that day in a small gathering within a church. Renee even tattooed the date on her back as a special day in her life.

However, Renee didn’t feel accomplished and ready to leave combat sports. She tried out boxing and roller derbys, but nothing really felt the same as when she busted noses in the cage. Renee needed another flexible sport to help make her feel alive again. Grace suggested pro wrestling and even had her father pay for training as a surprise for Renee. Renee seemed hesitant at first only watching wrestling on the television and saw it as foolishness humiliation with colorful costumes. However, when she made it in the ring, Renee saw that it was like her previous career albeit a little more expanded. She could still knock opponents out and win, she could make women submit to her, and she could win titles just like in the MMA promotions she visited.

Shelley has only one year under her belt in wrestling, but has competed in Australia, the United States, Canada, and some in Japan. Hearing about the strong competition in LAW, talent scouts recruited her for some appearances, but she wouldn’t be full-time on the roster. Renee looks to take on the tough women and show them that she won’t be messed with herself.

Personality: Renee is emotionless in the ring and dishes out punishment no matter how good or bad her opponents are. Outside the ring, though, she can be pleasant to be around and as long as you don’t give her a reason to knock your lights out, you’re good in her books. Renee can be polite and soft spoken really only talking to people that she can see being trustworthy. If she needs to, she can be quite cold and distant to those she has a bad feeling about. All around, Renee prefers certain people, but is very welcoming once you know her more.

Wrestling Style: Simply, Renee prefers just adapting her MMA moves into her wrestling inventory. Mainly a submission specialist and hard brawler, Renee seeks to ground her opponents and punch their lights out or go for the tap out victory. Renee keeps her emotions in check and focuses on the bout instead of friendly small talk or handshakes. One of her favorite moves is her Triangle Choke and she attaches herself to her opponents in order to wind them down or make them sleep. Renee can also be daring with some high-flying moves in her arsenal.

Preferred Matches: Renee is flexible in her match interests as normal, submission, and knockout suit her best. She’s not into the lewd matches as she is married and has her wife for stuff in the bedroom. However, Renee could be interested in humiliation if under the right circumstances. Renee has also competed in some hardcore matches and finds them fun once in a while. She has also competed against men, but prefers to avoid intergender as most males tried hitting on her and ended up with busted jaws.

Trivia:

-Renee has three pet goldfish at home named Sunshine, Bailey, and Cooper.
-Renee spends most of her week at the gym and hitting the bags so that is how her free time gets spent.
-Renee is also very romantic towards her wife, Grace, but prefers not talking about her marriage to keep their privacy secured.
-Renee has two other tattoos with one being a wolverine on her right bicep and the Australian Flag being on her left thigh.
-Renee can sometimes go overboard in her matches as one time she completely knocked out a Russian woman’s three front teeth during one of her bouts.
-Renee has a MMA record of 14-4-2 with nine knockouts in total throughout her matches.
-Renee still frequents boxing and roller derbys even if they are just fun side hobbies.
-Renee has political ambitions as well vowing to run for office in her home country once she retires from wrestling. She has already attempted a campaign for a council seat in Melbourne, but came in third place in the general election.
