Huan's gym attire

A loud bang echoed through the gym as Huan delivered a final kick of her series to the heavy bag, making it sway significantly as the chains it was hanging on rattled. She stepped back and took a moment to catch her breath, going to a nearby column where she left her after bottle to take a sip. Aside from her, the gym was empty, it was to be expected as it was early morning in the middle of a week but it was still disappointing. Huan hoped to get some sparing in but it seemed she was out of luck.

The woman's legs squeezed the punching bag as she gave her sit-ups. 10 seconds with your back flat in the air before giving the push-up and continuing your count to 40. Now she has half a dozen girls under her tutelage, "34", before she only had to confirm that they fulfilled their routines and contract, "35", her days off are spent in the gym, "36", and 3/5 of the roster here is slacking off on their routines.

After reaching the top, she connects with 3 punches in the air and a jab to the boxing bag. She's been offered real days off, but leave the job to Gael or let him hire someone else...; connect another combo to the air.

Her legs were getting tighter, the sweat was already dripping down and had been running down her bag for a while now. When things settle down and they bring in the roster managers, she will be free of this burden.

Her teeth gnashed. She raised her elbows in the air and elbowed the top end. Shaking her bag with her on it and continuing the abuse with jabs that led to the chains rattling, her thighs began to slip but she didn't mind, she will give more. She CAN give more.

She reset the account, but when she leaned the sweat was enough to make her slip and drive her to the tarpaulin. Or so she experienced it, identical to a powerbomb. Maybe someone fell out of a sack and that's how she got the idea.

She gasped a laugh between her deep, panting breaths before bringing her forearm to her eyes and shutting out the light. "Why does that stress her out so much?" She reproached herself.

Hearing the sudden impact and the shouting startled Huan a little, apparently, she wasn't alone after all. Deciding to investigate she went in the direction of the sound, turning the corner and noticing the other women laying on the ground.

"Here I was thinking I'm the only early bird around. I'm Huan." She said, reaching out her hand to help her new acquaintance up to her feet.

She knew well that she was not alone. There was a punching bag being beaten in a corner by fists and kicks in plausible combos, but curiosity did not get the better of her.

Without uncovering her eyes, she extended her other arm in the direction of the voice. "Alice," she introduced herself, pulling herself up with a tug on the other. She was more or less used to being throws, so falling down in such way didn't hurt her. But, that didn't take away from her tiredness, she put her hands on her lower back and gave a stretch to relax.

Perhaps this means a long day ahead for her. Although... "Huan, isn't it? Huan Lei Brightspring?" , she continued. It was definitely her.

Long ago Huan stopped being surprised at being recognized. She had quite a career in mma and everyone who was even a little bit interested knew who she was, and even if they weren't, there was a good chance they heard of her. And here if she was correct she was dealing with another one of LAW wrestlers which further made sense with the recognition.

"Yeah, that's me. You do have me at a disadvantage here, I can't seem to recall you from anywhere." She said with a nervous smile, she didn't want to be impolite here but she was in fact hard pressed to recognize the woman in front of her.

With that crooked smile she was given, Alice only said casually, "It's because I haven't entered a ring yet, Miss," to put herself on good terms with the former mma fighter. For her, Lei had no reason to be nervous, they had no deal oer pending and Alice was not some legend or celebrity of this medium, she was just an assistant, manager and wrestler of a very young roster.

"Thank you for your hand, Miss Huan Lei. Sorry to distract you." Alice gave a thin smile to her at the end as she went to get her thermos and some dumbbells.

"Drop the miss, you know my name." She waved dismissively while she replied, she never was a fan of formalities and here they were really unnecessary. "Actually you aren't distracting me at all, I was looking for a sparing partner, would you be interested?"

Right now, she would rather take it out on a sandbag alone until the sun comes out of the window.

But Alice thought about it as she took a sip. It was Huan Lei who made the proposal. Who wouldn't want to train with an MMA expert? and specifically with Huan. And they're on their own; a little sparring wouldn't hurt.

"... Very well, I'm interested. What do you have in mind, Huan Lei?" she commented making a minor jibe about not using formalities.

Huan sighed at hearing her full name. "You can just call me Huan, or Lei, whatever feels good. And I was thinking, there is an octagon in the gym. I wouldn't mind putting on the gloves and having a go. Nothing crazy, just a spar." She said pointing to the cage in the open area behind them with her gloved hand.

Nothing crazy, it's just a training session and that's what needed most at the moment. She removed the garter from her hair and put it in her mouth while she fixes her ponytail. "Done," she mumbled. With that accepted, she let her morning companion step forward into the octagon as she pulled her boxing mittens and knee pads out of her locker.

Inside the metal railings, Alice did some arm stretches to measure your condition for this test. Maybe she should get on the L.A.W. canvas for once instead of just facing the same girls from her roster and new ones every week.

"Can I know why you don't like to hear your full name?" She asked somewhat interested, But trying not to be so trusting with her. Perhaps Huan would prefer that she not hold back so much with her, but Alice has this courtesy for her profession.
