The Amazonia Encounter (for Highfly)

“What did you have in mind?” William asked as he kept on rowing seemingly challenging Alania as he had a playful smile on his face.

Alaina looked over at the mats and saw some sleds, TRX ropes and kettlebells. "Well we could each get two kettlebells and use them for deep pushups at the first stop followed by bicep curls. After we keep hold of the kettlebells and lunge our way over to the ropes doing a low-middle-high rope pull up series. After we get the kettlebells we can lunge our way over to the sleds and do sled pushes s well as sled pulls. After that we rest a minute and do it all over again!" Alaina said.

“Going up a notch? I can respect that drive ya got, Alania!” Kennedy exclaimed as she decided to stop rowing conceding for a few minutes break.

"Up a notch? This is a simple workout plan." Alaina said as she went about setting up the workout stations. She grabbed two 35lb kettlebells for each of them figuring it was a decent weight. "Okay, set them up on the floor, grab the handles and do 15 pushups. Go down deep fifteen times then hold them like suitcases at and lunge over to the next station. Here we do the pull-ups with ten low rows, ten middle rows, and ten high rows. Finally lunge over here and we each push the sleds." Alaina said, putting four 45lb plates on each sled and going in a bit more detail over the plans.

The amazon got in pushup position with her hands holding the kettlebell handles instead of being flat on the ground lowering herself low and kicking off her set.

Will and Kennedy got in position as the big guy started off slow with his push-ups. Kennedy, on the other hand, started picking up the pace a little trying to keep in sync with Alania to show her effort and fortitude.

Alaina was moving through and doing her thing, finishing the pushups and lunging her way over to the TRX ropes keeping proper form as she went. "So... where have the two of you wrestled before coming here?" Alaina asked genuinely curious about that especially in regards to Kennedy. Was Kennedy an indie champion? Traveling wrestler? A hidden standout she never heard about?

“Mainly a larger American promotion and when I got released, just started touring the indies. I was mainly the big muscle and a tag team wrestler. As I can remember, I’m a 5-time tag team champion as of recently and even a long-reigning champion at one point. I was also a member of Jonathan’s faction known as The Bloodline and even now, we are both known as The Tag Team Gods,” William explained as he moved next to Alania after finishing his push-ups.

“I guess you could call me a wrestling homebody, because I wrestled in Mexico mainly as that is where I fit best. I did wrestle women and even became a women’s champion, but limitations weren’t my thing. I wrestled in more intergender matches than were probably seen in Mexican wrestling. When I came here on a cross-promotion tour between a Mexican and a Japanese promotion, I became the first female to hold a historic Mexican championship and held it for 281 days. Basically, almost a whole year,” Kennedy added as she soon joined them.

Alaina nodded and looked to the two of them as she finished up the rowing and grabbed the kettlebells again to lunge her way towards the sleds. "That is all quite impressive for sure." Alaina said as she tried to recall where she had seen them. She would be looking up Kennedys matches later for sure and studying them extensively as an in-ring meeting seemed to be in their cards.

Kennedy would then join Alania on the sleds as she would eye up the machines and she smiled genuinely over to the Amazon.

“I do know I’ve wanted to ask you about this, but how’s the kiddos? I see you post about them on social media and I think it’s the most adorable thing in the world,” Kennedy stated.

"Oh Anna and Carl are doing fine. They are nine now, and thankfully Charlie is there and really is the one that does most of the child raising. I do my best but training takes up a ton of time. I need to get gold around my waist, and do it soon." Alaina said. She knew she wasn't getting any younger, and her kids getting older doing more activities was a bigger factor in her having a limited window left in her career than her own aging was.
