A Shadow in Comparison (Kuro and Minami)

Thatt last kick finally gave Minami the idea to let go, and Kuro soon dropped to the ground. She rolled the moment she made impact and shot back to her feet immediately in a fighting stance, arms raised and legs apart in a boxing stance. The woman's words afterwards only had her scowl. The idea of getting so serious so quickly twisted a barbed wire in her soul. This was far from the cutesy kunoichi character she played in the ring, and the idea of playing to this bitch's tune annoyed her further. If there was any relief it was that the unconscious corpses around the two couldn't blab about the details.

Minami might see this as a teaching experience, but Kuro wasn't ready to play student quite yet. She only scowled at Minami's smile, letting out a shrill snarl in response. "Cocky bitch..." She hissed, forcing out a calming exhale as her expression softened into a pout.

"Kuro wouldn't waste Minami-chan's time, y'know! Kuro's been working super-hard to be the best Kunoichi she can be!" She tapped off the ground, rushing in close toward Minami before ducking down and moving to grab the woman by the leg and take her down to the ground.

Minami continued to smile at Kuro after the girl proved herself a bit. It was refreshing to see some talent with conviction that was for sure, even if there needed to be refinement and improvement. But Minami could tell that she was facing off against a diamond in the rough. Though unfortunately for Kuro, Minami was a diamond shining in all its glory, though that was something Kuro would soon start to learn once Minami really got to work.

Though at the moment Kuro seemed angry and conflicted, even going as far as to call Minami a cocky bit, not that it dampered her expression. "Yes I am." She said, agreeing with the girl's words before smirking. "Though I have good reason to be." She finished just as cockily before watching as Kuro reverted back to her cutesy gimmick, this actually making her smile fade into a frown.

"Hm." Was all she said as Kuro charged forward low, aiming to grab her leg and succeeding, leading to Minami falling down flat on her back against the mat. Rather than panic or scramble however Minami reached up, attempting to grab Kuro's arm before the girl could pull it back. If successful in doing so Minami would also throw her legs up and wrap them around the girl's head arm, locking her ankle to try and lock in a triangle armbar!

Finally... There was both relief and satisfaction in finally knocking Minami to the ground. A single-leg takedown wasn't exactly flashy, but sometimes it paid to be more grounded than showy. Still despite that fact Minami didn't seem too concerned with her position. Hell, she even seemed disappointed afterwards, something that had Kuro go right be to scowling and holding back snarls. This annoying- Her eyes narrowed slightly and she started to move down toward the woman. Screw repositioning, she was going to just straight into a ground and poun-

"Hrk!"

The moment Kuro moved an arm toward Minami she snatched it up by the wrist and started to immediately pull Kuro into her wrapped legs. Kuro's eyes widened, recognizing the maneuver. A triangle choke mixed with an armbar. Dammit! She tried squirming, tried pulling herself away, but it was pointless. She was locked in and all she could manage was wriggling her upper body as she glared daggers at the woman, feeling her arm stretch against its will and her lungs start to pound needing its oxygen.

Taken by surprise and knocked to the mat Minami would give Kuro her flowers, that was a good impromptu move by the girl and against anyone else it may have earned her a good advantage. Unfortunately Minami wasn't the one that would allow such a thing to work so well against her. Besides, Kuro made a crucial mistake and reached down to try and press her advantage over the older woman, something that ultimately made it all too easy for Minami to reverse and capitalize on the less experienced Kurokage!

Pulling the girl's arm in and throwing her legs up to catch her in a triangle choke arm bar Minami would look up at the frustrated eyes of her opponent with a smug grin. Minami wouldn't stop there though. No, just to show who this girl exactly who she was Minami was gonna take this a step further. So holding onto Kuro's palm to keep her hand still, Minami would start to use her free hand to grab Kuro's fingers and start to bend them back and twist them to cause some major pain in her opponent!

Kuro's face contorted in pain and rage, doing all but outright snarling at Minami's face. If not for the lack of oxygen and the few bits of breath she desperately tried saving she'd screech out swear after swear toward the woman, but all she could manage was keeping it to her mental voice, praying the woman could somehow read the venomous thoughts she was sending her way. Her lungs screamed at her for air, and even as she squirmed and struggled in place it brought her no closer to freedom. Even worse, Minami took full advantage of the position, gripping hard along her hand and forcing the fingers back for a torturous addition to the hold. "Gh-!" She could only glare as Minami as she increased the pain. She had no choice.

She tapped.

Her eyes still glaring at Minami she tapped. Less an admission of surrender and more a demand to be released from the hold.

Minami smirked cruelly as she contorted and squeezed Kuro's neck in her submission, even bending the fingers of her younger opponent just for a added sensation of pain. Pain that would take its toll since before long Minami felt tapping on the mat making her smirk. "I suppose thats one for me..." Minami said as she started to loosen the hold.

However before she would undo it completely Minami would be sure to have a firm grip on the arm she had been working over on Kuro as she stood up. "Remember though young lady, this doesn't end till you beg." Emphasizing the last word Minami would punctuate it by turning and throwing Kuro's arm down hard on the mat before dropping down after to drive her knee into the girl's arm in addition to the slam on the mat!

Even after Kuro tapped Minami took her damn time easing up on the hold, as if savoring the satisfaction of it, even keeping a grip on Kuro's wrist after releasing her from the hold. Kuro blinked, looking up at Minami with a glare. Bitch. One point and you're already gloating like a-

"Ah-!" The sudden impact of her thrown arm forced a groan from Kuro. "Graaaaagh!" Followed up by a loud shriek as Minami crashed her knee right into a Kuro's arm for a cheap shot that had Kuro rolling away to the platform's edge as she nursed her now bruised arm. "You cunt!" She snarled glaring at Minami.

Minami would smirk smugly after gaining the first point on her foe. Kuro was indeed talented and ferocious, traits Minami personally valued and desired in the next generation. But she was so unfocused and wild... Too eager to give into her basest desires and make mistakes as a result.

So Minami decided to teach the girl first hand what being so unfocused and wild would lead too... Starting by dismantling her arm even after the tap out. Smirking as she was cursed at by the girl Minami would only offer her usual smarm. "We can always end this now if you can't take it. You just have to admit defeat" Minami offered, knowing Kuro likely wouldn't accept such a offer at this point which was just fine by Minami.
