Supposed 'Date'! [Nanase & Sophia]

The look did not go unnoticed for Sophia when she witnessed the sideways glance upon her form. For a moment she thought Nanase was once again gazing at her scantily clad appearance, though on further consideration... the thought did begin to occur that perhaps she was not in the correct form of attire. In truth though, Sophia would not have been all so comfortable in little more than a towel... and she began to realise that potentially that was all that Nanase was wearing herself. The notion made her blush a little, becoming a little tensed up, which in turn caused her some discomfort in her back... an unfortunate series of awkward moments, but she tried to cover it up.

"I really admire your tattoos." Sophia would complement to try and distract from her own nervousness, turning a little more towards Nanase as not to be rude as she realised she was sitting and facing forwards. It was hard not to notice the floral designs upon the back of her shoulders, they were intricate and remarkably well detailed.
"It is not something I have myself, but I have always considered it. I would not know what to get... what inspired your tattoos?" Sophia would ask, none the wiser to their origins nor their meaning. This subject was destined to come up the moment Sophia felt a little ill at ease, it felt like an obvious ice breaker to try and deflect from her slightly reddening cheeks over certain realisations.

Sophia's words had Nanase bristle at first, blinking in the woman's direction after she complimented her tattoos. For a moment, Nanase's cheeks reddened along with her date's, but she quickly collected herself. Relax... She told herself, taking a short breath. She just asked an innocent question. Between the awkward silence of the bath and the other situation of both her and Sophia's mixed attires Nanase's tattoos were probably the least awkward topic to discuss. She looked over her shoulder, almost bashful of the markings along them, then followed her advising thoughts and relaxed. "Ah..." Nanase paused, trying to figure out what to say. Given how innocently Sophia asked and her statements before it was clear she was just bringing this up as a point of discussion. But... this was actually a good chance. She really only had Himeko to talk to about her tattoos with, and the rumors about how she got them amongst some of LAW's gossip wheelhouse was a bit annoying to ignore. This would be a great time to clear the air about it with someone.

"Well, there's actually quite a story to them." Nanase began, leaning back further into the bath's edge. "Five years ago, a little before I left for China and Southeast Asia, me and Hime-chan had a cat." She explained. "It was a stray kitten back, it lived in an alley just outside of Hime-chan's house. Ah, Hime-chan is Taishuya Himeko, the leader of my stable and my cousin. But anyway, Hime-chan took pity on the kitten and made an effort to feed it every now and then. The kitten always made this odd popping sound whenever she ate, so we called her Pop-chan. We had taken care of her for about a month and planned to official take it in before I left Japan. However... one day Pop-chan was surrounded by some teenagers from Hime-chan's school and..." For a split-second, Nanase's eyes flashed with anger, then she took a breath. "Well... the kitten was being mistreated to put it lightly. I'll spare you the details, but... acid and matches were involved." She forced herself to exhale, shaking off the memory. "That was the first time I had saw Hime-chan visibly enraged, and my own anger was hard to contain at the time. We eventually saved Pop-chan from a worse fate, but..." She ran a hand along her shoulders. "My back and my right shoulder got splashed with some powerful chemicals during the scuffle, along with Himeko's left arm. But I think Pop-chan suffered the most of it..." She shook her head. "Anyway, to hide the scarring and burn marks we tattooed over them. The scars have mostly healed, but..." She paused, taking another breath before meeting Sophia's eyes. "Tattoos aren't looked upon favorably here in Japan, Sophia. Our families are... more accepting of things, but please be wary if you're in public and discuss those topics." She explained. "That said, I'd only recommend getting a tattoo if you truly want something permanent on your body. I'd recommend something you can easily hide over your clothes just in case."

Sophia listened to Nanase's story, her expression shifting ever so slightly to one of concern and sorrow after discovering the ordeal that she and Himeko had been through trying to protect the stray cat that they had brought in. The German watched and listened as she recalled the events, telling of the history of how she ended up with the tattoo, noticing that moment of anger in her eyes, but also sadness. It was tragic to know she had such a beautiful piece of art inked upon her shoulders to hide the scars of her past. Both she and Himeko suffered, both marked by the past event... but the lack of information upon her Pop-chan is what was the most tragic. Nanase did not say it, but the fact that she spoke little of his fate in the aftermath could only mean the worst for the unfortunate creature, and Sophia did not have the heart to ask further.

[color=[purple]"I am sorry you had to suffer through such an ordeal, and your rage was perfectly justified and understandable. I know in your circumstances I would have done the same thing. It is tragic to know such a beautiful work of art was born of such a regretful situation. I found out a long time ago that people can be horrible creatures, never taking into consideration the consequences of their actions. Not much has changed in the years, I fear it has only got worse." [/color]Sophia mentioned. Sophia soon listened to Nanase's advice about getting a tattoo and the potential ramifications of bearing one in Japan. It was then Sophia recalled a little something on that, knowing about certain associations with those who did bare them. It was only a consideration, but perhaps during her time in this nation, perhaps it was best to hold off from such a notion.
"You make a very valid point, I will consider it very carefully." Sophia managed with a soft and alluring smile.

The German beauty shifted herself a little within the hot water, feeling the warmth surround her stunning form. Her lower back was still giving her some issues, as a mild flash of discomfort washed over her angelic but scarred features. Sophia looked to quickly cover it up, turning to Nanase as she brushed a few stray locks that had draped over one of her eyes with the heat of the pool.
"I was meaning to ask a little earlier... but what made you join the LAW?" Sophia asked curiously. She had asked about her Martial Arts background earlier, but never actually considered what made her 'date' jump from such a highly disciplined environment to the spotlight and publicity of a world renowned wrestling federation.

Nanase offered Sophia a reassuring smile, running a hand through her hair as if to wave it off. "Oh, it's fine now. As gruesome as it was that was the fault of a few rather disturbed individuals. Though I appreciate your empathy to the situation." Thankfully, the topic seemed to move from her tattoos to something a bit more current. And at Sophia's question Nanase smiled brightly. "That, Sophia, is much simpler to explain, though it's also a story in itself." Nanase began.

"Well, to not go too far in depth, I had retired from competitive martial arts after coming back from my marital journey overseas. I still participated in a few events ran by my family and their sponsors, but I was focused on the family business after sending a few years in China and Southeast Asia to learn various fighting styles and participating in private tournaments. I saw LAW in the periphery of my family's work, our business being involved in sponsoring several combat sports, and decided to join it after reviewing some of its matches and organization structure." She giggled, leaning back. "LAW as a company was much less stressful and rigid than most martial art events, the freedom they allowed their fighters really piqued my interested. And..." Her eyes wondered a bit, hesitating to speak before she settled her gaze onto Sophia. "Well, I was curious about the hentai division. It was a new kind of event to me and I liked what I saw." She shrugged, as if to suggest she wouldn't go further than that.

"In short, LAW was very different than most events and organizations I was involved with, and I wanted a break from the business for awhile, so I took some time off to take a look. Now that my family is getting more personally and financially involved with LAW as a business I'm remaining here as both a wrestler and a representative of my family's interest, along with Hime-chan. Me being in the Hentai Division and her and Rei-chan in the Lightweight Division."

It was pleasant to have Nanase open up as she did towards her. Whilst the 'date' had certainly gone in several directions Sophia had not anticipated, she would be lying if the German said she was not having a good time. The bath was simply out of this world, the heat soothing much of Sophia's well trained and fine-tuned form. Even with the slight misunderstanding with attire and what not, luckily Nanase had been more than understanding and said nothing of it, allowing her to do what was comfortable for the platinum blonde. She once more listened intently to Nanase as she described the difference in wrestling in the LAW between being on the Martial Arts scene. Sophia felt a little disappointed that she never encountered Nanase herself during her own time in the competitive scene. It was likely they had just missed each other, but now their paths had crossed in the LAW.

Pleasantries continued between the two, as Nanase requested some drinks whilst the two soaked in the hot waters. Sophia was surprisingly good at holding her alcohol despite not drinking all that much, but tonight it went a little to her head. It was probably a combination of the long day and the bath, but she felt a slight buzz not long after two sparkly drinks. Luckily it was not too much, it was just a nice feeling, helping her relax a little more. The two spent a little more time in the bath even after the drinks, but eventually Nanase would bring up a subject, having noticed a few moments of discomfort with Sophia.

Her lower back had been causing the beautiful German some issue since her last match. Sophia had tried her best to hide it during the nights activities, but little tells had no doubt clued Nanase into discovering she was not hundred percent. The German tried to deny it, but the clues as subtle as they were had been noted, and Nanase had been adamant that no guest of hers would reside in the manor in any discomfort. The stunning Japanese native offered a massage for her. Sophia had been in mind to turn her down, but regrettably that buzz from the drinking made her decide otherwise despite her clear reservations.

A little time had passed, with the two women separating briefly again when Nanase finally decided their time in the bath should end. Sophia was given time to shower and rinse herself, before drying herself off once more. She noticed her clothing had gone, though Nanase did mention her attendants would see to it they were cleaned and ready for her. It left her in her sports bra like top and matching boyshorts that hugged her amazing figure, leaving most of her body exposed. She still had a towel around her hips when she entered the room Nanase instructed her too when she was done showering.

Walking barefoot into the room, she was taken aback by the calm lighting and incense candles. The room was spacious, the floor seemingly padded, soft and warmed up below her feet. The traditional Japanese style walls made up the room, but there was what looked like a shrine where most of the candles were located, and in the centre of the room was a large bed like piece of furniture. Sophia began to feel a little nervous, hugging her draped arm with the other as she walked into the beautiful area, seeing the displays on the walls. She expected her masseuse to be one of Nanase's aids, and heard the wall slide as someone entered. Sophia was taken off guard however to see Nanase herself... it seemed her intent was to massage Sophia personally.
