"I don't know..."

Oscar would whisper back to Katrina and shake his head gently at her, looking uncertain.

"It's hard to say- but I heard from another staff member that they found her crying in the locker room after the match... so maybe she felt guilty? I certainly would like to think so"

Perking back at as Rylie spoke to him, Oscar would gently smile and take a Nintendo switch out of his bag.

"Well lucky for you- I brought some controllers and a copy of smash bros. ultimate. Ever play it before?"

He'd glance back towards Katrina lastly with the most reassuring smile he could manage.

"We got things handled here... go get some rest, honey. Food, sleep, whatever you need. We'll take good care of her. Promise"

Moira raised an eyebrow at Oscar. ”So this Mandy Cannons seems to have a grudge against you but you don’t know her? You’ve surely seen tape or photos of her, right? You don’t recognize her?”

Moira got to setting up the Switch. “Yes Katrina go get some rest. We got her taken care of here. I may not have beaten you in the ring, Oscar, but I’m gonna Smash ye! We can double team him Rylie,” she winked.

Katrina noted what Oscar said about Mandy crying backstage and whispered back. "She did appear to look back with a bit of guilt after I chased her away from Rylie, it's possible. I think what Mandy just really needs is friends, if she could only get past her jealousy and self loathing." She then heard the recommendations from Oscar and Moira about going to get some rest as she closed her eyes and appeared to almost be sleeping where she was standing, but the tired smile forming on her face let everyone know she was basking in how great her friends and lover was granting her permission to go rest and assuring her they would take care of her friend. "Thank you guys." She mentioned as she walked back over towards Rylie bringing her forehead to rest on Rylie's before giving her a kiss on the forehead. "Yeah, go get some rest, you're starting to worry me and I'm the injured one. You're picking me up from here tomorrow morning, right?" To which Katrina pulled her head away from Rylie and nodded. "Yep, and we'll pick up a big breakfast, go grab your meds and all that fun stuff, try not to cause these two too much mischief. You can use my tablet and charger for the rest of the day if you want." To which Rylie scoffed and smirked at the mischief comment. "Ok, bye everyone, I'll see you all later tonight for drinks assuming you are off from training today?" She asked as she would walk over and give long hugs of thanks to Moira and Oscar and and get their confirmation before heading off.

"Oh dude, that's awesome! I never played ultimate before, but I have played other smash brothers before. Thank you for both for deciding to want to game with me. I don't know what I can do to repay you both for being so awesome to me, I feel like I don't deserve it." She then grinned from ear to ear with a hint of blush as Moira winked at her as she winked back. "We shall see, depends on who I think the better player is." She then looked from side to side at the two of them. "I'm looking forward to seeing which one of you plays with your tongue sticking out of the side of your mouth." She giggled before wincing at the pain that brought her. "Man this sucks..." She whispered to herself.

Oscar nodded to Katrina as she spoke her thoughts on Mandy before answering Moria.

"I've seen her matches- but aside from her face feeling weirdly familiar I can't put my finger on it... I know I would've remembered someone with hair like that"

Oscar shrugged and sighed as he couldn't really come up with anything useful information-wise. He'd give a big, loving hug to Katrina once she said her goodbyes and left. With only Moria and Rylie being the only other people in the room now, Oscar would go ahead and get the switch and the controllers for it out of his bag, pausing at Moria's comments about 'smashing him' with Rylie before bursting out laughing.

"Oh my god, Moria- WORDING!! Ha ha ha ha!!"

Oscar's cheeks turn a jolly shade of red as he blushed in between his laughter, wiping a tear from his eyes as he tried to settle down and speak a bit to Rylie.

"Don't sell yourself short, Rylie. You seem like an upbeat, fun, and genuinely good person to hang out with. You don't have to pay us back for wanting to be your friend"

He'd take note of Rylie's wincing, frowning slightly as the gave booted up. He'd pass Moria a controller and go to hand Rylie her controller to her.

"We don't really have anything to help ease the pain but we hope this'll help you forget about the pain for a while!"

Moira hugged Katrina goodbye. ”You owe us nothing, Rylie. A friend of theirs is a friend of mine. Now let’s let’s have a group smashing! I’m Link!” she grinned at Oscar and then burst out in giggles.

Rylie couldn't help but get a little misty eyed at both of them mentioning not minding being their friend as she wiped her eyes as she then responded about the easing of pain as she shook her head slightly. "It's all good, the meds are starting to wear off. The nurse will probably come by in another hour with some more ibuprofin." She mentioned as she couldn't help but snicker painfully at Moira continuing to talk about smashing. "I am looking forward to smashing you both." she decided to join in. "Ooo Mr Game And Watch? Talk about Nostalgia, I'm picking that."

"I swear you two are both doing this on purpose..."

Oscar smirked and shook his head as he went ahead and picked yoshi! (?)

"Alright then- fine. Group smashing it is! Everybody gets smashed! For an hour straight! Let's do it!"

Oscar laughed, choosing to roll with it as he selected a random stage and would roll his head- waiting for the countdown...

Moira began, naturally, by targeting Oscar. It was almost as if she didn't learn her lesson from the triple threat match with Katrina. She did lots of Link's spinning attacks and jumping. Moira also didn't like to block, so she was constantly on the attack.

"Hehe, I can't wait to tell Kat about how we spent our time smashing each other." She teased as she then smirked at the her newfound friend's character selections. "Interesting, I pictured Oscar as more of a Marth or Roy player and Moira I was guessing to pick Samus."
When the game started, Rylie immediately took her character to one of the upper platforms and moved Mr. Game & Watch, left, then right, then jumped a few times and then crouched a few times, then began randomly button mashing trying to figure out unique moves from them as she then noticed Moira being aggressive towards Oscar. "Wow, Moira with the aggression, is there some bad blood between you two that I need to be aware of?" She teased as also glanced over at the two of them to see how there playstyle, as if one of them was swaying their controller or doing the previously mentioned tongue hang out.

Oscar laughs out loud at Rylie as she teased him about the group's choice of words.

"HA! Easy to see why you and Katrina are friends. You sound just like her. And yeah- I always thought most fire emblem characters played weird aside from Ike. I like Yoshi better! C'mon, you telling me none of you ever wanted to ride a Yoshi before? The dudes are cute as buttons and spit fireballs when they eat certain things. We got something in common in that department"

He chuckled before doing the legendary gamer lean once Moria jumped at him right out of the gate!

"Nah- no bad blood. Just friendly competition! Bring it on!!"

Oscar would respond to Moria's assault by either spamming egg throws, down+B, or down air and eating Link- trying to spit the egged link over the edge of the stage if he was successful enough. He didn't really pay attention to Rylie as she figured out the moves.
