Geun Haru vs Senji Takijima

Geun would start moving even before she could think. "Right, he doesn't know my moves". Her leg one leg would move behind his neck and push down while the other would push back at his knee. This was aimed to push him down, face first into the mat from where Geun would sit on his back and pull his arm towards her, stressing both shoulder and the elbow. This move was quick and precise as if it was second nature and should it come to its fluetion it would be serious trouble.

Senji, in a desperate bid, desired to escape this hold yet again. The Armbar variation was proving difficult. He had to do something otherwise he'd be tapping out. Unfortunately, Senji hadn't an idea. He was too late this time around. Geun would then feel three taps on her thigh to indicate his submission. If she let him go, he steadily got back to his knees and rotated his arm to make sure he hadn't pushed it. Finding it satisfactory, presumably, after she got the point, Senji went to oppose Haru to get ready for the next fall.

This was decent. He could still get two points and win his debut. Now he had an impression of her style and could use that to his advantage.

Geun would release the hold and move over to her side of the mat as soon as the tap came. This was admittedly lucky of her to get that, after all, it wasn't the most common hold in the world and she hasn't used it enough in law for people to know to watch out for it. Either way, when Senji was done checking himself she would get in position and let him start this exchange.

["So, Geun is going to give me the first move?"]

Senji chose to press the offensive this time, desiring to lock in a choke hold using his arms or legs this time and even out their score! Senji changed positions, darting forward to go for a center-based tackle. It did not use the legs as a basis. It also mainly drew from the foundations of takedowns in general, not just BJJ. On the off chance, Geun decided to sprawl, then he would be prepared for that. If not, the takedown would proceed as follows.

Senji drove forward into her stomach, though not to where it would knock the wind out of her. Takijima next interlocked her wrists and pushed forward with his legs to get Haru onto her back. This attempt led Senji to go to scramble for dominance. He put his palm on Geun's right shoulder to establish, control, then threw his right knee past her left leg before going to pull the opposing leg past Haru's corresponding limb. A lengthy breath escaped him as he looked down at Geun to address a counter, if she had one before he moved onto the next stage of the ground game.

Geun would let the tackle happen, expecting what would happen next she would she let senji get one leg over her but when he went to move the other one he would find it wrapped between hers. From there she moved to slide his arm from her shoulder and holding onto it would use the leg control she had to roll them around as she tried to retain control of his arm.

As Senji entered his element with Geun, she'd find his lips curling into a happy leer. Seemed he was in better spirits today. Noting the change in advantage, the two now we're locked in a fairly even contest. Half guard. Taking Huan's training alongside his prior knowledge before coming to LAW, Senji aimed to pin her in place by gliding his forearm across her exposed throat. After that, Senji aimed to wrench his hand over so he could set the palm atop his left fist and push down on it. This would aim to stop her from twisting around underneath him to soil her plans for a rollover. It also served to put pressure on Haru's throat. It followed a similar principle to the top position of a sprawl. Senji put forth his weight on her to slow the older girl down. With that done, Senji split his awareness to the half guard. He pushed his free leg back and placed it on the front of Haru's thigh to push on and break her ankles' hold by shattering their cross. If that went to plan, then Senji aimed to pop his trapped left leg out and continue pinning her upper body in place while rendering the use of their posture for a basic choke.

Geun would shift, the roll might not have worked but she wasn't out of options yet. As Senji placed his leg on hers, she would move to take the pressure off of it while grabbing hold of his wrist and elbow to slide the hand off of her throat and reinforce the movement while her legs shifted to the back of his knee and front of hip respectively. If that were to work their bodies would be perpendicular to each other. From there, Geun would change the hold on her opponent's arm, putting one hand under his armpit and over his neck to reach the opposite limb while the other hand would move over his back and go under his other armpit to lick her arms together and pull both of Senji's arms behind his back

The chokehold was clearly having an effect, but the little vixen had managed to push his arm off just enough with considerable effort. He turned his head towards Haru, seeing her shifting to accommodate a submission she was shooting for. She did managed to slip an arm under his armpit but Senji did not allow her the chance to potentially gain another point. To prevent her from tagging the opposing arm, his left arm in this case, Senji leaned in that direction in an bid to escape the fingers coasting over his back in order to snake around some part of his arm. It was a simple counter meant to lengthen the distance between the arm Geun wanted and her nimble hand by going away from her. She was definitely living up to her style.

["Her neck is exposed."]

"Let's see here...", Senji muttered to himself. An Arm Triangle or One-Armed Choke? It could work potentially even if their position was unorthodox.

Senji went to straighten the right arm she had hooked in order to lay it across her neck. After that, Senji went to curl that arm so that the crook of his elbow would begin to bite into the right side of her neck. The hook made this process a little slower though, but the fundamental idea remained to get the arm around her neck and tighten it around the nape as to follow through on said move. Senji tried to calm his breathing down, the seconds having already moved into plural minutes at this point. He wasn't exhausted yet since his body was built for endurance in terms of actual minutes-long rounds. Geun was proving her worth, however.

The choke attempt was a smart move, she had to admit, and might have even worked if it was a little faster, but given her own submission was failing she retracted her arms, putting one forearm against the side of her neck and cheek to stop the strangle while the other went to grab the palm of his hand and unwrap it. She wouldn't normally do that in most other fights, she never liked being limited to just one style as there were plenty more things she could do if she could only just strike but the rules were the rules. As it was she went to pull on his arm to position herself once more beneth him and out of the way of the choke before going for her own attempt at locking an ezekiel choke while transitioning to a closed guard.

Senji felt her switch again, his eyes narrowing as he focused on that sensation for a specific reason. As his felt her legs widen in order to close again, that's the point where he made his move. He planted the front half of his feet against the floor as to push off and move his legs from between by using the floor as a springboard to do the motions at a faster pace. This would probably leave Senji in a full mount now that he'd gotten past her guard attempt. To deal with the choke, he needed to get creative in a short span of time. On the side where Geun's fingers were interlocked with the bicep of her supporting arm, Senji drove the leg that was on that side upward to push the knee onto the supporting arm that was near him. As he wasn't explicitly flexible to an egregious degree, Senji attempted to bring his head higher up over Haru so that his body wouldn't be as compressed inward overall. If the semi-pin proceeded to break her grip, leave the arm on that side underneath his knee, and he had been able to rip his head out of the hold quickly, Senji aimed to bait her into a submission that'd happen if certain criteria was met. Quite the clever boy.

"---Geun, you're quite amazing so far!", Senji complimented in strained, hushed exclamation. Getting extremely loud was very rare on his end.

Unfortunately, Senji could be a victim of taps as well. Huan had managed to receive, choke, or twist him time and again, demonstration or not. It could be considered quite the spectacle that he was getting rather far in this match against the fair lady. Haru had gotten a great submission from him as the first match point here too. That's not excluding Jenner Sky as a final note.
