Taking Flight! Kaguya Hojo vs Valkyrie

Kaguya had been in a pickle of her own making for the last few moments. Due to her relative dominance for much of the match she felt as if she could afford try such high risk, high reward offense as a elbow drop but was instead met with nothing but cold hard mat. A punishment for her arrogance that could very well have cost her the match altogether if she wasn't careful.

However Kaguya was a smart and resilient girl, and despite the pain of her foes stretch she wasn't gonna allow herself to be done in so easily. So while it was painful she managed to use the grounded position of the move to roll their bodies to the side, rolling her foe up in the process and garnering the possibility of a pinfall!

Naturally that didn't quite work however. It wasn't a secure pin and its not like Valkyrie was in a daze or anything of the sort, so despite the surprise nature of it she kicked out early. Which is just what Kaguya wanted. 'Thank goodness.' She thought to herself as she rolled away, clutching at her side for a moment before looking up and seeing the girl stumble, back turned, ripe for an attack. "Sorry about this..." Kaguya said under her breath before charging forward full speed, keeping low to try and slam her shoulder into the back of Valkyrie's leg with a chop block!

The toll of the match was starting to wear down on both competitors but especially on Valkyrie who had taken the worse of it till that point. While she was somewhat in control, Kaguya had her scouted and managed to sneak in a counter that turned things right back around and put the match back in her favor.

In fact, Valkyrie immediately stood up after that pin attempt yet her injury prevented her from turning around to face her opponent immediately. Instead, she hesitated for a few, fatal seconds and Kaguya immediately took advantage. She dived forward and connected a well placed chop block right to the back of Valkyrie’s left leg, effectively targeting her injury once again and making it clear she wasn’t going to let up.

Valkyrie dropped ass first on the mat one more time and immediately clutched her left leg, while groaning in pain. The ropes were far away from her unfortunately and her limited mobility prevented her for escaping the predicament she was in, effectively allowing Kaguya to follow up to that move. That said, Valkyrie was going to take it but at the same time wait for an opening to turn things around one more time…

Success! Not only had Kaguya's escape from Valkyrie's attempt to damage her body more been successful, but Kaguya had managed to follow it up with a perfect chop block that, as the name implied, chopped her opponent down from her feet and to a seated position on the mat! 'Perfect.' Kaguya thought as she got back up to her feet, already knowing exactly what she would do.

So turning and immediately starting off in a run past Valkyrie the young idol would turn on her heels and bounce off the ropes, launching herself back at her opponent from the front. Winking at her foe as she got closer Kaguya would leap up, intending to deliver a high speed missile dropkick right into Valkyrie's chest!

Should the move land successfully however... that would only be the start. Immediately rolling with the impact Kaguya would try and scoot around until she was sitting next to her opponent. Reaching down Kaguya would then grab Valkyrie's leg, pulling it back and wrapping her own limbs around her foes before falling back, attempting to lock the Swedish girl into a leg bar! "I'd suggest tapping if I were you!" Kaguya would say with a grin if she was successful in doing so!

The chop block was successfully connected and it forced Valkyrie on her ass, down on the mat and stunned. The leg was hurting a lot and Kaguya didn’t seem as if she was gonna let up anytime soon. If anything, she was gonna press the advantage for as much as she could and she was gonna make the most out of it. Valkyrie was stunned and trying to figure out exactly where she was when a stunning dropkick hit her right on the face and took her out for good.

Her opponent quickly took advantage of the situation and dropped down to the mat, wrapping her own body around the injured left leg of Valkyrie and locking in a very tight leg bar. Valkyrie immediately sit up with her palms pressed against the mat and yelled in pain, trying to fight through the jolts of agony she was feeling all over the body.

The referee quickly slid in closer to the two and asked her whether or not she wanted to submit. Valkyrie quickly shook her head and said no. She wanted to win this match at all cost, even if that meant getting a major injury out of it. Kaguya had the move locked in pretty tight and did an expertly job to pin down her right leg as well, to prevent Valkyrie from moving. Her right arm was, however, free and that’s what she used to try and pry the hands of Kaguya off her leg. She would start swinging at her opponent, trying desperately to connect with punches, slaps, anything she could just to get some pressure off her…

Valkyrie was trapped! Kaguya had managed to successfully damage the girl's leg once again and even managed to lock in a submission hold she knew would be severely damaging in the form of the leg bar! Unfortunately while the hold was great in locking down movement across the board and inflicting a lot of damage on the leg, there was one unfortunate achilles heel to its effectiveness.

That being that no matter what, one arm of the opponent would be free, making it easy for the one trapped to start striking with it. Such was the case right now as Kaguya found herself victim to a series of slaps, punches and whatever else Valkyrie could think of to hit Kaguya with making the idol grunt and groan with each impact.

'Ugh damn I won't be able to keep this up for long.' Kaguya thought to herself, already feeling her skin starting to sting and grow red from the hits. So rather than kepe the hold until Valkyrie fought her way out with a potential advantage Kaguya would opt for a different strategy. So suddenly Kaguya would unwrap her legs from Valkyrie's own. If successful Kaguya would swing her hips around in a effort to smoothly get to her feet while still holding onto Valkyrie's leg in the process.. a spot that should she be successful in Kaguya would suddenly jump up, intending to come down with a knee drop on the battered leg of her foe!

The pain was excruciating to say the least but Valkyrie was quite the determined baby-face and she was far from being done. Besides, she had to show the world what a young lioness could do and the best way to do so was to show off her skill and resilience in the match. Kaguya though had no issue tearing her opponent apart slowly and methodically, and she made no mistake about it.

As soon as she realized Valkyrie wasn’t going to submit to the intricate hold she had just applied, Kaguya switched up the offense and went right back to soften up the already battered knee of Valkyrie. Her game plan was simple, methodical and effective, slowly chipping away at the injured leg to make sure Valkyrie had no choice but to submit at some point. What Kaguya did this time was to deliver a wicked knee drop right on the left leg of Valkyrie, further applying pressure to the already damaged knee.

The knee pad did absorb part of the damage but Valkyrie definitely felt the effects of the impact. She grunted in pain and brought her hands over her face, trying to hide her pain from the fans, the cameras and her opponent. However she was not able to muster any type of reversal from that position as she was grounded and her opponent was out of her reach. All she could do was to dig down deep and take the punishment that was coming, hopefully waiting for an opening to turn the tide back around

Despite the rarity and agony of the submission she was using Kaguya just couldn't get the submission from Valkyrie. It was a little frustrating she wouldn't lie, but at the same time she couldn't help but feel proud of her fellow lioness. To take so much and not give in still? It was really inspiring to Kaguya! But that didn't mean the idol would go any easier on her opponent, not by a long shot.

Hence the very next thing she did after releasing the submission was to drop down knee first onto her opponent's injured leg with a vicious knee drop. Showing she wasn't planning on offering any mercy to Valkyrie just cause she liked her! But now the question remained.. Just what could Kaguya do next that hadn't already been done to the blonde's knee?

Well Kaguya had a few ideas for that and none would be pleasant for her opponent. Lifting up that still injured leg once agains Kaguya would drop down once more, this time for a elbow drop just to further stun and soften the knee up! If she was successful in doing so Kaguya would get up and drag her opponent backwards to Kaguya's favorite place in the ring, the unforgiving corner and ropes.

If she managed to make it here successfully Kaguya would step outside the ring and lift up the hurt leg of Valkyrie before trying to wrap it around the middle part of the turnbuckle, attempting to insure that Valkyrie's leg would be good and trapped. If successful and satisfied Kaguya would turn and hop around the corner to the side of the ring apron before springing a few feet down, turning...

And running right back, building up speed and as she neared the corner Kaguya would reach out, grabbing onto the corner and attempting to swing her body out before bringing it curling inward in an attempt to land the legendary 619 (Tiger Feint Kick) onto Valkyrie's legs while using the corner instead of the ropes, aiming to smash Valkyrie's knee between Kaguya's kick and the harsh, hard corner turnbuckle!

The match was reaching its conclusion as it was now a literal siege. Valkyrie had to give up at some point and Kaguya knew it, but at the same time she was quite surprised by the amount of heart being shown by her opponent here tonight. Clearly they were both young lionessess and as such neither of the competitors wanted to give a poor impression on the audience. Overall it was safe to assume that both let a positive impression however, albeit each for different reasons. Kaguya for he brilliant strategy and Valkyrie for her heart and resilience.

The castle was about to crumble however and Kaguya knew just the right move to make it happen. She dragged an almost defenseless opponent all the way to the corner and wrapped her left leg around the steel post, before connecting with a rather acrobatic maneuver meant to crush that knee against the unforgiving steel that helped the ring stay up. Valkyrie cried out in pain and rolled around on the mat, clutching her left leg.

The referee quickly slid in and asked her whether or not she was willing to continue. She nodded her head yes but it was clear for everyone that she was just one move away from a tap out defeat. All Kaguya had to do next was to choose to which move her opponent was going to give up in, as the scene was pretty much already set for the foregone conclusion

Kaguya felt... invigorated. Excited. Enthralled even, everything about this match was what she wanted to show off as a competitor and she would have to be sure to thank Valkyrie later... Even if she was currently utterly dismantling the girl's leg right now. But that's just how a match was, Kaguya wanted to win and nothing more and it definitely wasn't personal.... So she would also probably have to be sure to apologize to Valkyrie later as well.

Even so however it was now time to end this match once and for all. After that tiger feint kick Kaguya had Valkyrie right where she wanted her, no matter how gutsy the girl was she wouldn't be able to take another submission. Especially the one that Kaguya had in mind right now. Bending down and grabbing hold of Valkyrie's arm and leg Kaguya would then aim to drag the girl away towards the center of the ring.

Once she was there Kaguya would bend down and cross the blonde's legs over her own for a familiar position. "Alright Valkyrie, I really would recommend tapping out of this one." Kaguya said, giving fair warning before moving to try and turn the girl over and bend backwards for a classic sharpshooter submission!

The match had taken its toll on both competitors and Kaguya knew it was just a matter of time before Valkyrie would eventually give in and admit defeat. After all, Kaguya could’ve gone on all night long if needed to and it didn’t look like Valkyrie had it in her to turn things around in a big way. Kaguya was aware of this and slowly yet relentlessly applied more and more pressure to her opponent until she was not able to take it anymore.

And just like that Kaguya slapped in one last submission attempt, trying to put the match to bed once and for all. The crowd in the first row stood up in anticipation sensing this might have been it. Even the referee slid in closer to the two with much more celerity compared to the previous attempts, perhaps knowing he was about to call for the bell.

While Valkyrie had shown a tremendous amount of resilience she had been outwrestled by her opponent almost completely. She felt her leg almost being jerked out of its socket and she really couldn’t take it anymore. She hanged in there for a few interminable seconds but eventually she had to tap. She slapped the mat one two, three times and hoped for her opponent to quickly release the hold. Meanwhile the referee called for the bell
