The story of a Prince & an Idol - II

Unread post by Teenwrestler »

This past week had been quite for Daisuke. To be honest, it seemed as if there was something missing in Daisuke's life. All his life he thought that wrestling was his love, his passion and that alone would lead him to happiness when he would be dubbed as the best wrestler in the world. However, as he grew a bit older and got a bit mature he was starting to think that maybe there is more to life than just being that. This past week he did have a taste of that when he met a certain someone named Sakura Hagiwara who seemed to have an impact in his life. Was it respect? was it a crush? or was it something more than that and Daisuke was starting to fall in love with the former Sweet Diva Idol?

Those emotions were troubling him and maybe all he needed was to focus and double time on his training. Although, there was also the possibility of him meeting with Sakura once more. Daisuke was alone in the men's locker room, having just stepped out of the shower he was deep in thought while he changed into his wrestling attire to hopefully get some training in. The prince would look at himself in the mirror, taking a deep breath before silently heading outside to the main gym hall.

Finding a nice quiet corner, he would see some vacant wrestling mats and would remove his wrestling boots before stepping up to the blue wrestling mats. Daisuke would get down to a seated position, stretching his right leg in front of him while bending forward a bit to grab his toes with his hands to stretch his body and limber up as his pre-training warm-ups.

"Hmmm" he would softly say, seemingly deep in thought of last week's events.

Sakura hummed slightly in the women's locker room of the LAW gym. Today was a bit of a different day for her compared to usual. As opposed to a standard workout this was more of a... acclimation day for her since she had just gotten her brand new wrestling outfit in. "So this is what a two piece outfit feels like. It's such a small change but it feels so different." Sakura said to herself as she checked herself out in the mirror, trying to take it all in and get used to both the outfit and herself after her battle with Noelle since Sakura was trying to reinvent herself somewhat after such a difficult loss.

Nodding to herself Sakura would sigh and bend down to finish lacing up her boots before standing fully and nodding to herself. "Guess I better get started breaking this in." She said to herself to pump herself up somewhat before turning and walking out of the women's locker room and into the gym proper. Approaching the blue mats for warm ups Sakura would bend down, undoing the laces of her boots and taking them off before moving to step onto the mats.

'Don't even know why I bothered to lace them to be honest.' She thought with a slight pout before looking up and smiling widely when she saw a familiar face. "Dai Kun hi!" She said to the wrestling prince as she approached, glad to see the male again after their recent spar.

Better yet she could get a first hand opinion of her new outfit from someone she could trust. "What do you think of my new wrestling attire?" She'd ask once he noticed her, even doing a pose for him to get the full effect of what she was wearing.

Still deep in thought, Daisuke continued to silently stretch his leg out infront of him while in a seated position and stretch his body to try and touch his toes. Usually, Daisuke was one of the more vocal persons in the gym to always look for trouble or trouble would find him inevitably but something had changed since last week and there was still something running in his mind or racing in his heart. He was silent but focused, looking to continue on his gym routine until a familiar face would catch his attention and distract him from his focus. The voice made his heart race and he would look up as soon as his new nick name was called out to find Sakura Hagiwara right in front of him with that infectious smile on her face. There was something different about her and she was quick to point it out.

However, Daisuke wanted to keep his cool. "Oh, Sakura-chan?! Hi, what are you doing here?" he said in a calm and friendly manner as he stopped stretching and would rise to his feet on the mats. He would give her a smile but then had a puzzled look on his face while she asked him his opinion on her new outfit and even did a pose for him. He would blush at first but then shake his head to snap out of that feeling. Daisuke would scratch the back of his head and attempted to have an oblivious expression on his face.

"Um, is that a new attire? I didn't notice. So....what's the difference?" he asked trying to be all cool. "Didn't you had that on last time we met?" he said laughing rather nervously.

Sakura smiled at Daisuke while waiting patiently for his response. It had only been a week since their spar but it was still good to see a familiar face so soon, especially when she was ready for another work out. Granted to break in a new outfit a but a spar was a spar. Likewise though she genuinely wanted to see what Daisuke would think of her outfit and if he liked it, it was silly she knew, but he was one of the first people to see her in it so she had to know what he thought.

So taking a pose she waited and watched his face, seeing the quick blush that spread across his face before he composed himself and hit back with a rather lackluster answer. Not that Sakura took it personally mind you. After all she saw that blush which just meant Daisuke was just acting tough, or rather trying too. Smiling slyly at him Sakura would lean forward towards him, intentionally giving him a better view of her bust. "Hehe Dai kun no need to be so mean, I was clearly wearing my usual white training outfit, and this is way different from my old wrestling outfit." Sakura said before standing straight and doing a spin. "For one its red and has a lot more detail to it, and its a two piece so it shows all of my belly so a bit more contemporary!" Sakura explained, more than happy to talk about her outfit given all the thought she had put into its design.

Even so she would smile at him all the same once she was done talking. "In any case I'd like to break it in using a spar." She asked before holding her hand out. "Care to help me with that?" She asked with a smile while waiting for his answer.

Her smile was so innocent and that was one of the things that Daisuke really could not resist. Those eyes and that smile of hers, it just made Daisuke a different person. When she was around he was not rude or condescending at all, there was something about this girl that made Daisuke's heart skip a beat. Despite knowing each other for a week, both were quite comfortable around each other and Sakura was quite excited to know what he had to say about her outfit but Daisuke tried to keep his cool and pretended to not notice. However, Sakura was not going to let him off that easily either! She would notice him just trying to act tough and would try to play with him by leaning forwards into him to give him a better view of her chest to make his face turn red as he took a brief look before turning away.

"Um well now that you mention it *Ahem*cough*clears throat* Y-yeah you're right it is quite different. I like it, it uh suits you" he would compliment her now that he was given no chance to squirm his way out of the situation. She would immediately then ask if he was willing to help her out by sparring with her to break her new outfit in. He would scratch the back of his head and think about it but ultimately agree to it. Bringing his hand out he would grab Sakura's and shake it gently.

"Heh sounds good to me. What match were you thinking of Sakura-chan?" he asked while stretching his shoulders.

Sakura smiled as she stood up straight seeing the response of Daisuke at the view she game him. He seemed to easily get flustered, at least around her and she was not above using that against him. Luckily it had the exact effect that Sakura was looking for as he gave a more genuine answer to her question about her outfit. "Aw thank you Dai." She chirped cheerfully before nodding at him as he seemed open to the spar rematch between them. "Perfect." Sakura said eagerly, reaching up and clasping hands with Daisuke. "I think same rules as before is fine assuming thats ok with you." She said cheerfully before turning and making her way towards the ring while gesturing with her head for Daisuke to follow her towards the ring.

Having to give in to her charms, it seemed like Sakura was not here just to have Daisuke admire her outfit or compliment her. She seemed to be ready to go for another round of sparring to improve herself. Daisuke and Sakura had a good clean spar last time as well, it was serious enough but not overly serious for either of them to hold a grudge against the other. Despite Daisuke losing the match, he was perfectly content with it and didn't go barging in for a rematch in fact he was quite surprise that it was Hagiwara that came to him asking for a match too. In truth, he had falling for her charms and personality and a wrestling match was not in his mind. He had tried to avoid her because he feared that he may actually just not like her but maybe there was something more than he would like to admit.

They agreed to wrestle but Dai was having second thoughts to it now. He felt this was his chance and he had to take it. "Well actually Sakura-chan, I was thinking that instead of wrestling maybe we could uh....*ahem* you know, actually....w-what I wanted to say was that I think you and I could.....perhaps uh....*clears throat*" Daisuke's face was red, he was almost there but he could not go the distance for some reason. He wasn't sure what Hagiwara though of him or where this was going. His forehead was visibly sweaty and now he was panicking since he had changed the subject from the spar that he initially agreed to.

Then suddenly, he went on auto-pilot and would speak without thinking. "That instead of sparring in the gym ring we could have a....official match. I want to wrestle you in the toughest match of your career, so I challenge you to an I quit match" he said bringing his game face on.

Sakura was smiling enthusiastically as she hopped up on the ring apron and turned around to face Daisuke in preparation for their spar. It was a silly thing to be excited about, but she was looking forward to it. Their last spar had been competitive but also fun, so she was looking forward to another, especially to break in her new ring gear. However as she turned to face him Daisuke had a... off look on his face. Almost as if he was struggling with something to say to her or something of that sort. "Is everything ok Daisuke? She asked softly, hoping nothing had upset him or that nothing was wrong with him prior to their sparring match.

Soon however she would get her answer and it wasn't one she had expected. "Oh." She said a bit surprised at the sudden.. perhaps too sudden request for a proper match. It just felt as if he was going to ask for or about something different before the match request, so she was curious. For now however it was best to focus on the task at hand since not only did Daisuke request a rematch, but a rematch with a rather serious stipulation behind it. Looking at Daisuke with a focused look that was rare for the idol she released a soft hum. "If thats what you really want Daisuke." Sakura said as she hopped off the ring apron, adding extra emphasis on it being what he really wanted as she walked towards him.

Getting close enough that they were almost chest to chest Sakura would look up into his eyes with that serious expression still on her face and her hands on her hips. "I'll be more than happy to accept, but I won't hold back, nor will I lose." She said, staring into his eyes as she waited for a response from him.

Challenging her to an official match was the last thing on his mind. He wanted to ask her out for a nice quiet dinner but the thought of her rejecting him and making their future interactions awkward make him stop half way. Of course now that he had indicated that he wanted to say something he could not just stop especially because he knew Hagiwara would push him to say what he wanted to say. Looking to redirect things, Daisuke would have nothing else in mind but to suddenly challenge her to a match, an I Quit match at that too. He instantly regretted what he said but it didn't seem that Sakura was going to let him back out of this one.

It was not really what he wanted at all but it just came out of him. He did not respond when she asked him if this is what he wanted but he stood still, looking at her while she walked back over towards him. Hagiwara and Daisuke were now face to face and chest to chest as she would look into his eyes with a rather serious look. An I Quit match was one of wrestling's most grueling matches and both of them knew that for sure.

"Neither will I, Sakura-chan" he said sounding a bit disappointed. Daisuke would then look away from her as he walked past her while biting his lower lip. "Now if you can excuse me, I have to prepare for that" he said grabbing his stuff as he made his way to the locker room. "Shit....how did I get myself into this now" he sighed thinking to himself. However the match was set and now he had to face her and try to make her quit!
