Things hadn't really been going the way of Becky Welsh lately. Though lately probably wasn't the right word. She hadn't been able to catch a break as of recently, she could barely remember when she had been booked for a match last. It had been quite a while....and maybe there was a reason? Her time dealing with Reiko Hinomoto after she had done a whole personality shift had been a difficult period for Candy Cane, not only because a person she'd seen as a friend and rival had basically become her enemy for a while...she hadn't really come out ahead in their conflict. Against Rowdy Reiko she might have been able to nudge out a draw for their final match, but overall she felt as if she'd been wrecked by the Queen Cobra. That hadn't really left her feeling too hot, and following that she had taken a few other losses. Against the likes of Tina Armstrong in their rematch, a match that Becky had thought she could use to claw her way back into the main scene...but it was not to be.
After which the Canadian Punk-rocker had been sort of away from the wrestling scene. She didn't get many bookings, and for a while she returned to playing. Underground, here in Japan. There wasn't exactly a huge scene for indie Canadian punk-rock here, but she had taken up a former passion again. Her life was starting to feel a bit better, and she really wanted to get back into the ring as well! She had marched into the LAW offices and thrown her weight around, only to be booked for one the very next week. This time against someone named Skylar Jones! She'd heard a bit about her, but so far she could only say one thing. That she wasn't about to let anyone stand in her way from getting to the top of LAW! Despite her recent slump, Candy Cane wasn't going to slow down! She was reinvigorated and ready to rumble once again!
The music of the punk-rocker began to blast out of the speakers. The crowd began to stir, as a mixture of jeers and cheers began to erupt from them. Candy Cane strut onto the ramp with her guitar, blasting riffs out of the axe as she moved her way down the ramp. She made her way to the ring as her music finally stopped, removing her guitar from her shoulders and handing it off to a stage hand, Candy Cane climbed up onto the apron and slipped into the ring, walking up to the center of the squared circle she raised her right hand and flashed the devil horns for the crowd. She turned around and skipped her way to her corner and climbed up, taking a seat upon the top turnbuckle. As the crowd continued to throw a mixed reaction to her, the redhead turned her attention towards them and flashed the sign of the devil again towards them.
"I'm back! losers!"
