LAW Apex Match: Tina 'Tigress' Armstrong vs. Kathleen Hendricks - Steel Cage Match

Kathleen sucked in some air, needing to regain her breath and wait for the pain to subside after those punches. But Tina moved in quicker than she imagined, a harsh kick to her gut coming her way, forcing her to double over and grip her stomach. From there, her body was lifted up, and she could feel that spank to her butt. Immediately, she began to kick and squirm, cheeks turning red. "Why, you little-- I will end yo- GAGH!" she said in outrage, before feeling her body slam against that cage once more, the agonizing pain radiating through her spine and torso.

But it wasn't the end just yet, as she was powerslammed down against the mat with ring-shuddering strength! "AAGH!" Kathleen cried, arching her back with her elbows digging against the ground, an expression of excruciating pain on her face and a sheen of sweat building up on her body.

Tina scowled at Kathleen, fighting through the pain as she grabbed Kathleen by the hair yanking her up to her feet. Tina was done playing nice, she didn't want to win she wanted to crush the cockiness right out of this woman! Tina screamed as she began bashing Kathleen's head off the cage as hard as she could before pressing Kathleen's throat against the rope, choking her out and pressing as hard as she could! Tina was beyond angry, beyond driven. She wanted to show everyone she was still the top woman she was when LAW began. She wasn't just a damn stepping stone....

Tina would keep that up for a moment before pulling the rope back to slingshot launch a hopefully stunned Kathleen back in the middle of the ring flat on her back!

It was entirely unfitting of the Queen of Domination to become a ragdoll to abuse, but that's just what was happening. Tina's rage was rendering it difficult for Kathleen to fight back and get back into this encounter. Her torso was screaming its pain, and all of the energy she spent early on was catching back up to her. She officially needed a breather, but the Tigress didn't seem keen on allowing that as she lifted her back up by her hair, causing a hiss to escape from the gritted teeth of the Queen.

"GAAH!" Repeated bashes against the cage didn't help her situation, trying to put her hands up as to cushion the blows, but Tina countered that by then shoving Kathleen's throat against the top rope, choking her! The QoD's feet kicked and slammed against the mat, her hands yanking on the Tigress's to force them off, and eventually, she was slingshotted back down to the mat.

Pain radiated throughout her skull and throat now, as she gasped for air, hands pressing against her throat to try and soothe the red-hot excruciation. In moments like this was when her self-doubt began to creep back into her mind. When Kathleen was in control, she was in the zone, able to toss all other thoughts out of mind in favor of focusing on her brutality, and often times, that level of precision and focus made her deadly. But now, when met by a foe who was turning equally brutal, a woman who had beaten her before...

Was the Queen second-guessing her chances here?

Tina turned and looked back at Kathleen, a vengeful glare in the eyes of the tigress. Tina came at her with a scream, running and swinging her leg as Kathleen rose up looking to smash her in the face with a running soccer style kick! If that connected Tina would quickly go for a cover knowing she had just clubbed her opponents skull with a brutal strike! Tina wasn't a stepping stone, not just some bar for everyone else to pass to get gold. Tina was still a champion wrestler and would make it official with a title belt again!

Kathleen had been in the ring with brutal competitors. Skylar Jones, Theresa Niedermeyer, but to face off against someone who was mostly known as a bright spirit, one who never went overboard, going so extreme to beat her... it made Kathleen question if she could handle it. That loss was in the back of her mind, making her wonder if she couldn't beat her while she was 'holding' back, how would she beat her while she was seemingly trying to main the Queen?

But her thoughts had to be on recovery at the moment, not self-doubt. Kathleen pushed herself up to a sitting position, eyes trying to track where Tina was, as to plan her recovery. And, as it turned out, Tina, or, more appropriately, Tina's boot was right in front of her!

"GUGH!" Kathleen cried from that concussive blow. She was forced back down with authority, limbs splayed out and vision going black!

Tina capitalized, going for the pin!

1! No response came from Kathleen, blotches of clarity returning to her sight, but darkness still overwhelming and confused as to what was occurring.

2! Kathleen blinked, earning more vision, and realizing the position she was in. She was being pinned!

"GAH!" Yelling, the Queen threw her arm up for a kickout at 2 and a half! Tina almost got her with that burst of hard-hitting offense, but Kathleen wasn't about to lose right then and there, not with what was at stake!

"Argh! No!" Tina shouted in frustration as Kathleen kicked out. Tina rolled off and got to her feet while grabbing Kathleen up by the hair and pulling her up keeping her left hand holding tight to Kathleens hair as she sent a hard uppercut to the jaw once she was standing! "Come on!" Tina shouted as she then tried to adjust her grip, moving in to grab Kathleens waist from the front. Tina lift her up and flipped sending her down hard to the mat with a northern lights suplex!

Tina was not just driven, she was possessed. She had women treating her like a benchmark not like a wrestler with her own goals. Tina wasn't a flash in a pan. Tina was a hall of famer, she was going to be every bit the wrestler Alaina was and still is! Tina was going to make sure the nickname tigress was etched up on a gold plaque in a wrestling hall of fame no matter what!

Kathleen had taken thrashings before, but the cage was an added element to things that made her hurt all the worse. It was an element that she herself wanted in the match, but now she was experiencing the downsides of such a match, such as it being used against her quite literally. She only had herself to blame for the pain she was feeling, but the Queen refused to linger on such thoughts. Not now could she fall victim to her thoughts rather than the action in the ring, and the very idea that Tina was making her second-guess herself was making her feel rage unlike any other!

"GAH!" That uppercut momentarily stunned Kathleen as she was hauled back up, fingers clawing at the forearms of Tina who was holding her hair. She wanted to beat this woman, she wanted to make her pay, but the Tigress was doing a good job of keeping her in check for now, and it showed as she was able to then lift up the heel for a Northern Lights Suplex! "AGH!" she cried again, feeling the pain in her spine radiate throughout the rest of her body.

But instead of merely laying there, Kathleen chose now to strike! Her arm wrapped firmly around Tina's head as she was bridged over, and began to squeeze hold, almost for a Guillotine Choke at that awkward angle! One of her shoulders thrust upward as to make sure that she couldn't get pinned in this, as her arms throbbed with the effort of trying to crack Tina's skull with the force of that squeeze! And in that pain-influenced rage, such a thought may not even be a mere saying.

Tina thought she had Kathleen where she wanted her but she was mistaken! After sending Kathleen crashing down to the mat Tina was suddenly choked and she flopped down crashing down onto her back as the tigress thrashed about in Kathleens grip! "ACK! NGH!" Tina groaned and thrashed, her feet kicking the mat while her elbows swung back trying to connect with Kathleen any way they could before she reached up to grab at Kathleens grip trying to use her desperation to fuel an attempt to power her way out!

Kathleen felt the pain radiate through her back after landing on it from that northern lights suplex, but she knew such close proximity such as this needed to be exploited somehow. And sucking in air, she flexed her arms and wrapped them around Tina's head, beginning to squeeze down with all the force she could muster. It didn't need to be a winning move, but one that bought the Queen time she needed to recover. Her teeth grit upon feeling those elbows fired her way, and her grip pulled on, this awkward position not making the hold easy to hold atop of the Tigress's struggles.

Rolling over to her knees, Kathleen huffed as she began to drag Tina up herself while still holding that lock in. Until eventually the Queen managed to scrap herself to her feet, and only then did she let go of that hold. But not without firing her elbow down to the back of the former champion's skull, hoping to knock her for a loop, before stumbling backward and grabbing onto the ropes for support. That beatdown took a lot out of her, and sweat glistened on her skin, face flushed red with anger and effort.

Tina groaned as she kept swinging, clawing and pushing her way to freedom until she took an elbow to the back of the head. Tina moaned and stumbled back feeling herself leaning against the ropes.

Tima tried to bounce off taking some stumbling steps back at Kathleen. Tina was dazed and hurting, trying to fight back. She tried to move as quickly as she could extending her arm to clothesline Kathleen!
