Tilde would follow him over to the machine.
"Hm? Oh, I watched a lot of wrestling when I was young, around high school found a gym that would teach me. From there went to compete locally and was scouted to here. How about you?"

Oscar worked away at the machine as he gave Tilde his attention, seeming happy to talk about wrestling.
"I saw my first match a few years after high school when some co-workers took me to see a live show. I got inspired by how the wrestlers could inspire a crowd. It... sort of lit a fire in me, I suppose. Felt like I found a calling in life"
He chuckled and sigh at the happy memory.
"Spent about two years self-teaching myself and practicing against others before getting scouted by LAW for their intergender circuit and the young lions program since I didn't have any proper training"

Tilde smiled as she listened
"It's great that this program is in place, hard to find a good gym, self-teaching can be dangerous but here, you get as professional care as it comes. And the talent it brings seems to be really varied."
Standing that Oscar seemed excited about wrestling she would let go a little as her voice grew a little more lively.

"Oh absolutely! I met a ton of great people in my first week here alone. One of my main trainers is Tina Kelly- one of the main eventers here. She's been one of the best friends I made here but the size difference makes it... difficult to train in power moves. Well- except bearhugs. I'm told that's something I specialize in"
He chuckled before continuing on.
"I'm definitely grateful to be here. A side perk to it all is that I've made more friends than I ever had growing up and even found a girlfriend here! There's not a single day where I don't regret signing up here"

"Good to hear, and hay now that I'm here I'm more then happy to help with the power moves. For bearhug you have to secure your oponent's hands for one, if you don't and they now what they are doing it's really easy to get out of."
Her smile widened, she wasn't sure who she was going to meet but so far her new student seemed pleasant enough.

"Ah- of course. I was always told that if the arms were free it'd mean more pressure on an opponents sides than with pinned arms, but I can give that a try in my next match"
Oscar nodded his head as he followed along.

"Actually why don't I show you what I mean since bearhugs are your specialty. Come on, time to get between the ropes"
Tilde would say as she made her way to the ring at the center of the gym and gestured for Oscar to follow.
"So, if you notice, bearhug is basically a move that exists only in pro wrestling. They are not particularly effective unless you have your opponent tired and softened already, other fighting sports don't have enough time in the match for that, nor do they care for the show, they chose the quickest way to end the fight. The reason why it's not effective is one that an opponent who knows what you are trying to do will just escape unless they are dazed, not much you can do about that really, the best you can do when they start is turn it into a belly to belly suplex. Second, as far as submissions go this one is more flashy than painful, it still can hurt a lot but you have to prepare your opponent beforehand for it to be raly effective. Am I talking too much? Anyway, get over here and lock me up as you usually do and I show you how you escape it, might be useful if you ever get locked in that.
Tilde would continue to talk way after they got into the ring before standing in the center to show Oscar exactly what she meant.

Oscar would get up from the rowing machine, quickly wiping it down before following Tilde into the ring.
"Nah- you're not talking too much. I'd be happy to show you my bearhug!"
Oscar nodded and met up with Tilde in the wring, wrapping his arms around her Torso and following her advice, he'd make sure her arms were pinned to her side.
"Let me know when you're ready and I'll start"

"First I want to show you why you want the arms pined, so we do arms free first and pined then do you can see the difference."
She would say as she got her has free and then give Oscar a nod.
"You can begin."

Oscar would nod before clamping down his signature bearhug: the Barbaric brace! Oscar would demonstrate his strength as the hold started off quite powerful as it was- the pressure slowly increasing the longer he applied the hold.
