Belly Queen Title Match: Katsumi vs. Kyoko

The hands first set to Katsumi's arms, and the Punk Princess only digs in and pulls back more. While it's possible to pry her hands loose, struggling with that would likely just take longer than crawling for the ropes. Kyoko seems to be intelligent enough to weigh her options, and the two begin scooting for the side of the ring. Katsumi's knees shuffle along, trying to steadily increase the pressure along her opponent's spine.

"Then good news!," she continues. "I've got you in this ring until I decide it's time to put you away!"

She'd given Cathy's abs a pretty hard workout in an earlier match. She's sure once the ball really gets going, Kyoko will be no different. And then she can have a nice little accolade to tide her over until the championship belts start circulating. Something for the audience to grasp onto, some tangible declaration of her ability. But first thing's first - she has to beat the title holder.

The ropes draw closer and closer, and Katsumi knows she isn't in a position to halt the advance. So she intends to hold on as long as she can, even as the referee will undoubtedly begin to count.

Kyoko huffed, refusing to comment on such a stupid statement as she moved and edged towards the ropes. She wasnt kidding when she said this was hardly the worst submission move she had been in and she wasn't about to call it quits here. Slowly her hands would reach for the ropes as she got closer and closer, grabbing it and holding onto them as hard as she could.

The ref called for the ropebreak and tried to warn Katsumi to let go while Kyoko felt the hold not letting up, at least not in the early going of the hold. Feeling her back being bent as she fought to make sure that the girl couldn't just try and push her off the ropes to end the break.

"Let her go! Rope break!"

Katsumi ignores the referee-girl.

"One! Two! Three!"

Katsumi strains to pull back a little tighter for that last second!

"Four!"

Katsumi suddenly releases the hold! A few extra seconds of wear and tear on her opponent isn't worth a full disqualification! Katsumi lifts to her full height, hands raised innocently to the glowering referee. "She's free! No big!" She backs up from the ropes with a smirk. That's more like it. Start things off at her pace, and let this other chick try to catch up.

"We've got a long way to go! Get up!," she shouts to Kyoko.

As expected the girl feared her wrath and didnt let go of the hold immediately instead hoping for a few seconds more of reprieve from what her mouth had gotten herself into as she let the count reach 4 before she finally decided to let go. Kyoko growled as Katsumi's voice continued to bother her ears as she slowly tried to push herself back up to her feet.

"It wont be that long...I don't see you taking too much of what i can give." Kyoko said slowly reaching out as she would get to her feet and bring he hand up looking to feint a jab at her opponents face before she would instead go low and try to double leg takedown her opponent to the floor.

Katsumi sniffs derisively at Kyoko's bravado, and responds with only a wiggly-fingered beckoning at her.

Back at the center of the ring, Katsumi bides her time with an energetic bounce from foot-to-foot. Once Kyoko is on her feet again, however, the Punk Princess ceases her anxious bounces and instead bends forward at the waist. Her eyes narrow, and that wicked smile finds its way back onto her face.

When Kyoko comes in with a punch, Katsumi is prepared to duck low and weave - but that's not what happens! Her legs are grabbed and she's hoisted! Katsumi's eyes widen, and she instinctively hooks her left arm behind Kyoko's head, and when she's brought down onto her back, begins firing forearm shots at her face! Hopefully that'll derail whatever plans Kyoko had, and maybe even create an opening for herself!

Kyoko knew she was likely to fall for such a trick. Too many times she had gotten the better of someone looking down on her for thinking she was nothing but a one trick pony. Regardless Kyoko knew she would stop there as the girl tried to grab her head and throw elbows into her back as Kyoko quickly tried bridging on her legs to get a clear shot. Turning a bit to keep her down Kyoko returned fore and attempted to catch her abs with some punches.

She didnt think Katsumi would be able to actually keep pace and with a few good shots to the gut would slow down. Keeping her opponent close by while she tried to beat her down like the punk she seemed to want to be.

The forearm shots to the head didn't seem to be working so well. And it seemed less and less like it was the more viable option than just trying to get away. With Katsumi on her back and Kyoko over her, her arms tied up high in their attempts to batter and lock her opponent, it's left her stomach open. And Kyoko begins with the first salvo of the match's namesake.

"Hnf!," grunts Katsumi after the first hit, followed by a complete abandonment of her counter-offensive in favor of turtling up. Her arms loop around her midsection, and she attempts to twist over and ultimately roll away. Katsumi may have a nice midsection, but it's not built to weather a lot of sustained punishment. Her entire self isn't built to weather sustained punishment.

Staying on the attack Kyoko quickly had Katsumi regretting get in the ring with her, as her punches forced some screams from the once confident punk and had her scrambling to cover up and protect herself. Kyoko still tried to get some hits in but it was clear that wasnt going to work anymore with Kat trying to prevent it straight up.

So she just changed her tactics, grabbing at Kat as she tried to retreat and keep her in close. IF she could she would try and force her knee down on Kat's back and pull her leg up looking to stretch and bend her leg while working on the girls back at the same time.

Katsumi's managing to keep her levels of vocalized discomfort down to grunts insofar. And thankfully, the turtle tactics seem to do a good enough job at warding back Kyoko's attempts. What's more, she even gets to roll over! But things took a stark downwards turn when Kyoko's knee comes pressing down against the punkette's back. She makes a startled noise of discomfort, which only intensifies into a yelp when her long, smooth leg is taken and arched backwards.

Katsumi is flexible, and she has a cussed level of pain tolerance, but it doesn't mean she enjoys it. If she has a handle on what's going on at all, it's a modified half-boston crab. And here she is towards the center of the ring.

"Aahn..!," she wheezes, expression pained. Her free leg kicks against the mat, the toe of her boots digging in. Her right arm reaches back, flailing about, hoping to graze some of the other girl's long hair. And if she can catch it, she'll give it a nice, hard pull! Hopefully it'll get Kyoko to abandon the attempt before the referee just forces her to let it go.

Bending the girl every which way she wanted Kyoko was looking to make Kat an even bigger target for her to work on as Kat tried and failed to break free from her, still Kyoko wasnt anywhere close to being done with her as she tried to force her to bend as much as she could before she felt Kat grab her hair and try to pull on it.

"H-hey let go!" Kyoko screamed out as she threw a punch towards her back as she tried to get Kat to let go and pull away before she could do anything with the advantage that might come from using her hair.
