Backstage
18:23pm ____________________________________________
Cassie had just walked into the venue where the show was going to be that night, she was still wearing her casual clothes as she wouldn't know if there was a fight scheduled for that night, but anyway, Cassie was just greeting some other fighters, some even they praised the Blonde Girl, making her happy, anyway, after that, Cassie was walking through the Hall where the fighters' Locker Rooms were.
While Cassie was walking, She ended up watching a certain Girl that made her curious, so Cassie walked towards the Girl and when she got to her side, the Blonde gave a simple wave, saying in a gentle voice: "Heya! How are you? Sorry to come out of nowhere, well I'm Cassie, I think you've heard of me", Cassie said while she had her hands in the pockets of her Jeans. Spoiler

Like the vast majority of English people, the one of Lily's traits was punctuality. She was never late, no matter how important a meeting or event was waiting for her. However, today she involuntarily overdid it, arriving at the main LAW building a little earlier than it was necessary. A match was waiting for the brunette today, but now she needed to be patient and wait for her turn, because the arena was still in use.
Having no desire to eat before the match, Lily decided not to go to the cafeteria. Her locker room was still occupied. There were too many people in the lobby. And her manners did not allow her to go to her manager's office. So she decided to wait at the backstage. Yes, there were people here too, namely other fighters. However, there were far fewer of them than, for example, people in the lobby. Therefore, this did not bother the Englishwoman much. Lily Menage
Casual outfit
Finding a place a little apart from everyone else, Lily leaned her back against a box with sound equipment and took out a book. Capital in the Twenty-First Century. Paying no attention to anyone, the amber eyes began to run over the lines of the pages.
"Hmm... social inequality is caused primarily by the greed of the richest stratum of the society..." thought Lily. "Greed... have I ever felt greed?"
Such books were not only a way to sharpen her already brilliant intellect. Such books made Lily think about questions that another person would never have asked themselves. She wasn't sure she'd ever felt greed. It was one of those emotions that remained a mystery to her. The brunette decided to remember this and think about it later. Lily's thoughts returned to the text of the book, but suddenly she heard a voice right in front of her.
Lowering the book, Lily raised her amber eyes to look at the woman standing in front of her. The look of her amber eyes was empty, but at the same time, anyone who saw these eyes for the first time could easily think that Lily sees through this person. Looking at the blonde, Lily immediately noticed that they almost perfectly match in all physical parameters. However, she didn't care much about it. And it was not clear to everyone why the blonde decided to approach her at all. However, Lily knew that it would be rude not to answer the question.
"Lily Menage, I'm fine, reading a book," the Englishwoman introduced herself and answered the first question in a smooth, melodious, attractive, but pretty indifferent voice, "I don't think so, should I?"
Lily gathered a fairly massive knowledge base about other fighters and periodically spent time studying potential opponents. And, given her more than impressive memory, she could conclude that Cassie arrived at LAW relatively recently, because if she was famous enough, then Lily would surely know her name. And if this guess is correct, then why did this blonde decide that Lily should have heard about her?
"Oh nice to meet you Lily, I apologize for interrupting your Reading, I was just wanting to chat with you for a bit if you don't mind", Cassie said as she placed her hands on her From the front pockets of her Jeans, Cassie's voice sounded quite excited, while her blue eyes looked at Lily curiously.
Cassie also felt her cheeks getting a little red, She thought that Lily must have heard about the Blondie, because a few days ago, She had easily managed to beat her first opponent at the Company, Cassie might be a rookie but she was trying to bring a message of trust to everyone who knew.
Cassie then kept a sincere smile for Lily, even though she felt a little embarrassed 'Cause she thought that Lily, knew who Cassie would be, but anyway, the Girl said with a hint of insecurity in her voice: "Ah , Sorry to ask but what are your plans for tonight? I kind of have no opponent today, but who knows I might find one".

It could not be said that she was surprised by these words, because it was extremely difficult to surprise Lily with anything. However, to some extent she found this reason strange. Of course, it's not unusual for ordinary people to approach someone and start a conversation. However, Lily would never do that unless absolutely necessary. In fact, the brunette didn't talk much to anyone at all.
"Fine, let's chat," she said in the same smooth voice, then closed the book.
Lily saw the blonde's face turn slightly red. It seems Cassie, for one reason or another, was counting on Lily to know who she was. However, it was naive of her. One match in most cases is clearly not enough to get recognized here and there, especially if it was an easy match.
Lily's debut also took place not so long ago. However, the brunette did not have any fantasies about this. She knew that her match was not outstanding and therefore it is unlikely that her name became known, at least for other fighters. Although, while surfing the Internet, Lily noticed that her name appeared on several social networks. Thanks to her unusual image in the ring, some viewers remembered her, even despite not the loudest debut match.
Her face was completely neutral, but after Cassie's last words, the brunette's left eyebrow barely lifted. She adhered to rationalism in absolutely everything. And what she heard didn't exactly fit into rationalism.
"You don't have a match today, but you still came here?" Even with a slightly raised eyebrow, Lily's voice remained just as empty. "You do understand that the schedule of the matches is made in advance and that you can't suddenly get a match in the middle of the show?" The Englishwoman tilted her head slightly, looking at the blonde, who now seemed a little strange to her. "However, to answer your question, yes, I have plans, the next match is my match."
Speaking of which. While they were talking, the previous match had already come to an end. And around this time, Lily had to be approached by her manager so that they could head to the locker room. But so far Victoria was in no hurry, which caused some questions, since Lily did not doubt the punctuality of her manager. However, it was too early for the alarm, so the brunette could give Cassie some more time if she wanted to continue the conversation.
"I know I don't have a fight today and that the fights must be scheduled in advance, but I think the Booker who does the fights has no problem with that, I've seen some fights happening like this around here, if I'm not mistaken...", Cassie said as she leaned against the Wall and looked at Lily, while the Girl was talking to the Englishwoman, Cassie tried to show an appearance of confidence to Lily, despite being a newbie.
Anyway, Cassie despite that, had gotten a little attention on social media because of something that happened in her first match in LAW, in this case, it would be about the fact of having respected and defeated Fox Sparks.
The Blonde Girl ended up having an idea in her mind, despite not having an opponent or a fight that quiet night, She then looked towards the Arena Entrance, where it said to the English Girl in front of her: " So, if you got your fight canceled or something, what would you do? I mean, you could book a fight for tonight with someone else, right?"

"Such thing can really happen, but it's usually associated with high-profile promos that lead to matches here and now," Lily retorted.
Adhering to absolute logic, she couldn't agree that arriving at the arena made any sense if you didn't have a scheduled match. If it is known that someone is preparing a loud promo, then, yes, many will have a reason to come to the arena in order to accept an open challenge or something like that. But in most other situations... Lily was convinced that looking for a match in the middle of the show was not the most reliable idea. It seemed to her just a waste of time.
Although even that wasn't the strangest thing Cassie said. Suddenly, the blonde asked what Lily would do if her match was canceled. If the Englishwoman was capable of experiencing emotions like any other person, then she would surely be surprised by such words from Cassie.
"The probability of such an event is extremely small," Lily said, "good reasons are needed to cancel the match and this does not happen every day, I do not know the exact statistics, but I am sure that this can happen no more than once out of a hundred, so I do not quite understand what makes you think that exactly today and exactly my match can be canceled?"
Of course, if you approach things with the idea that anything could happen, then Cassie's words made sense. Right now, anyone in this hallway could have died of a heart attack. Lightning could have struck the building right now. Right now, one of the employees could have won the lottery. Indeed, anything can happen. The only question is how high the probability of this or that event is. And from Lily's point of view, the probability that her match will be canceled is extremely small.
"But in any case, I can't answer your question," Lily said in the same even voice, "even if we assume that my match can really be canceled, further actions should be coordinated with my manager, although most likely I would just go home so as not to waste time, but, As I said, it's unlikely to happen."
Lily looked behind the blonde. Victoria was approaching them through the crowd of the staff. Lily believed that now she and her manager would head to the locker room so that the brunette could prepare for the match. But then...
"Lily, your opponent twisted her ankle and the doctors did not allow her to the match," the manager said, adjusting her glasses, "so your match is canceled."
If Lily had a sense of humor, she would have thought it was some kind of joke. What was the probability that everything would happen according to Cassie's words? From a mathematical point of view, it was almost impossible. However, Lily remained absolutely calm about this.
"I see, Victoria," she replied, "what's next?"
"I'm afraid nothing," the Englishwoman said, adjusting her glasses again, "this is an unforeseen situation and we can't delay the show, so the one that should have been next will take the place of your match."
"Whatever you say," Lily nodded.
Cassie listened intently to English Girl's Words in front of her, the Blondie seemed to be listening very intently as she had her hands in the pockets of her Jeans, so when she was asked why she talked to Lily about what it was would do, If her fight was cancelled, She was a little surprised and embarrassed.
"W-Well, I could have a fight with you in case, but since you already have a match scheduled for today, so, just saying if you want a fight with me...", Cassie said a bit of embarrassment in her voice, as she ended up running her hand behind her neck, She really wanted to have a fight that night, If that was possible.
Anyway, when Cassie saw what appeared to be Lily's Manager, The Girl made room for Lily to walk past and speak directly to the English Girl, Cassie was left listening to the conversation while taking her cell phone from the pocket of her jeans, hearing that the Lily's opponent had sprained her ankle and couldn't fight that night, Cassie ended up smiling at Lily in a way that sounded like She said, "Funny, luck seems to have hit me", but anyway, She broke the Smile and it read: "I'm sorry about your canceled fight, I'm sure your opponent should be pretty strong."
Lily was the kind of person who was hard enough to surprise. She found some things strange, but nothing more. However, Cassie's answers did seem unusual to her. Of course, many fighters are ready to fight at any time. However, the fact that the blonde decided to approach Lily today... well, it was really strange.
Hearing the words about luck, Lily slightly raised her left eyebrow. Well, the probability of what had just happened was very small. Therefore, in a sense, it really was luck. The Englishwoman still couldn't believe that her match was canceled.
"It's hard to determine a fighter's strength in advance," Lily replied with a slight shrug, "but strong enough, I'd say."
Only now Victoria noticed that Lily was not alone. The manager adjusted her glasses and looked at the blonde. The face seemed familiar to her, but nothing more. Maybe she saw her profile, but since she didn't remember her, it means that so far this woman hasn't had any significant achievements.
"Will you introduce us to each other?" Victoria asked Lily.
"Yes, of course," the Englishwoman nodded, "Victoria, this is Cassie, Cassie, this is Victoria Palmer, my manager."
"Nice to meet you," Victoria said, adjusting her glasses, "I don't remember your name in the list of matches, just came to watch?"
"She came hoping to find a match," Lily replied instead of the blonde.
Victoria looked at Cassie in surprise, then at Lily. She was an intelligent woman and quickly realized the absurdity of the situation. However, there was nothing to deny here, for her, as for a manager, it was an opportunity, because the cancellation of the match is not the most pleasant event.
"Really?" it was a rhetorical question. "And what do you think about that?"
Now it was Lily's turn to look at Cassie. Amber eyes like looking through a blonde. Lily didn't believe in any higher powers. But the math failed today. Could it be called fate? No, that's nonsense. But if she put aside this whole strange situation... it was obvious that Cassie wanted to fight. And Lily wanted the same thing. The brunette shifted her gaze to the manager.
"I don't mind," she said.
Victoria was surprised by Lily's answer, because she knew that her ward does not like when new variables appear in the equation, so to speak. But if Lily really is not object another opponent, then so be it. Although it remained only to understand whether Cassie was aware of what awaited her if she agreed?
"And you?" Victoria turned to Cassie. "You should know that it was supposed to be a falls count anywhere match, so you should think carefully, are you ready for this?"
Cassie listening to Lily's words directed again to Her, so when Victoria asked the English Girl to introduce Her to her manager, Cassie held out her right hand to Victoria, while saying: "Nice to meet you, I'm Cassandra, or rather Cassie", You could see Cassie's excitement in her blue eyes, despite being a rookie, She had a lot of plans to do there at LAW, She wanted to show who she was and what she could do in the world of Wrestling.
When Lily told Victoria that Cassie was looking for a match for that night, the Blonde Girl just nodded that she really was looking for someone to book a fight that night, after all, She didn't want to stand in a corner and do nothing, because that night was one of those nights where Cassie didn't want to be quiet.
Anyway, hearing Victoria's question directed at Lily about whether she would mind this, Cassie was a little anxious for the English Girl's Answer, so hearing her say it would be no problem, Cassie broke out into a wide, happy, cute smile. to both of them, showing that she was happy to hear that, anyway, when Victoria asked if she would accept a Fall Count Anywhare Match, the Girl ended up saying: "Of course, I don't see a problem with that, after all I know which can be extreme and I'm not afraid of getting hurt, but either way, I'm in!", Cassie's Determination and Confidence, despite being a rookie, was quite impressive, that must be why she got maybe a opportunity to fight in LAW ? Or maybe it was because of her Abilities?
"I see," Victoria said when she heard Cassie's reply.
The Englishwoman adjusted her glasses and once again ran her eyes over the blonde from head to toe. Cassie's enthusiasm was quite impressive. However, one of the tasks of the manager is not to allow the fighters to do stupid things. One of such stupidities is excessive confidence in readiness for a hardcore match.
Of course, Victoria wasn't Cassie's manager. However, she did not want to be in a situation where the blonde would suffer through her fault. In such spontaneous situations, it is very difficult to take into account all possible problems. But it was hard to deny, Cassie really looked good enough in terms of athletic physique.
The manager looked at Lily again. There were no emotions on the brunette's face, as if she was not interested in what was happening. However, Lily understood that there were doubts in her manager's soul, so she decided to dispel them. She nodded curtly, letting Victoria know that everything would be fine.
"Okay, in that case..." the manager said.
Opening the folder, she took out a standard contract. They should not forget that this is not a street fight and that no match can be started without an official contract. Victoria quickly filled out all the necessary data, and then handed the contract and pen to Lily.
"First name, last name and signature," she said.
The brunette wrote her name in a neat, slightly thin handwriting and put her signature, after which she handed the document and pen to the blonde. She was calm about bureaucracy, realizing that it maintains order in society. In addition, the contract served as a kind of waiver of claims, because a hardcore match was waiting for them ahead.
"First name, last name and signature," Victoria repeated to Cassie.
And if the blonde had done what was required of her, then Victoria would have put the contract back in the folder. The manager would take out her phone and quickly type a message, letting the high management know that the match would not be canceled. After that, she would adjust her glasses.
"Well, we're done here," she said and looked at Cassie again, "locker room number four is yours, your entrance after Lily's, the match starts in twenty minutes, so... good luck?"
Victoria didn't want to make this moment awkward in order to maintain professionalism. Cassie wasn't a member of her team, but it would be rude not to wish her luck. Looking at Lily, she would get another nod and after that they would both head to the locker room so that Lily could get ready and warm up before the match.
