She got her. Amano's quick judo throw worked and she had Arachne on the ground and worse for wear. This was the prime time to get that pin and finish this battle. Now! She bent down, ready to give on last bit of offense before the pain to finally-

"Wait!"

Amano paused, frozen as Arachne quickly started fiddling around her backpack. Amano's eyes widened. You mean that thing actually has stuff in it?! She just thought Arachne was carrying it around for the flavor of her outfit, but... if it actually had tools in it then... Shit. Amano's nerves stood on end, watching Arachne search for a likely devious item. Amano's instincts told her to attack, but her nerves feared an expected attack. The fiddling could just be a trick. She might already have something under her palm and is waiting for Amano to make a reckless move. Her quickly brought her hands up in a defensive stance, waiting for... anything. A blast of pocket sand to disorient her, loud noisemaker to frighten her into a mistake, an aphrodisiac of some kind to mess with her senses. Hell, maybe even a banana peel to throw when she charged. Amano watched and waited for the unexpected.

And waited...

And waited...

...

And...

...

Waited...

"It seems...all of Arachne's tricks are....buried under the stuff Arachne stole today."

Amano nearly fell over. The gym-goers watching nearly fell over. Groans and giggles echoed throughout the gym. The dangerous lull in the fight's pace turned into a punchline.

"Are you kidding me?!" And the Demon was not amused, her face red with embarrassment and anger. "Oh, I'm so pinning now!" She darted forward, moving to slam her butt hard against Arachne's face for both the pin and to end this punchline of a moment.

Background Music
Arachne prided herself on being funny, but she much preferred it when the jokes were at the expense of others. However, the spider had mistakenly played herself by clogging up her backpack with stuff that didn't belong to her. Now she was unable to reach for the stuff that did belong to her, those mischievous items Arachne liked to carry around!

It was satisfying for the robbed gym-goers to see their victimizer genuinely embarrassed for once, a pretty rare sight for the typically carefree rascal. And Amano's face was just as red as Arachne's. The demon was apparently not pleased to have waited in such anticipation, only for Arachne to end up all out of plays.

After Reiko snapped at her, Arachne let out a flustered chuckle, before trying to turn over onto her front. But the demon was too fast, wanting to end this silly moment as soon as possible! "NNGGH!" Arachne groaned, as Amano nailed the spider with a strong buttslam to the face, right on the hard gym floor.

"Mmmmph..." Arachne muffled. The demon had successfully facesat her, besting the spider under her own stipulations. Despite the slew of painful submission holds and humiliating booty smothers Arachne had subjected Amano to prior, the lightweight villainess had now found herself being the well.....butt of a joke. Too tired and dazed to successfully resist, Widow simply waited for her sparing partner to rise off of her.

"REVENGEEEEEEE!" Embarrassment on her face and rage in her heart, Amano merciless rubbed her butt all over Arachne's face, howling in righteous fury for their serious duel being downgraded to comedy sketch. She was tempted, she was so tempted to force Arachne into unconsciousness for the treatment, to make her regret getting the Demon's hopes up only to dash them with a failed ploy of deception. The need to make this Spider learn the dangers of riling a Demon was a tempting sensation.

Tempting... but not fully deserved. "... ..." After a moment longer, Reiko finally rose, taking a short exhale to calm her nerves and fury. There wasn't a need to go completely off on Arachne. As wild and rowdy as their fight had gotten it was still a spar at the end of the day. Hard blows and embarrassing holds were exchanged, some quips and insults as well, but... no one got hurt. Well, no more hurt than two wrestlers normally got anyway. Reiko gained her smothering pinfall, and the fight was over. As bitter as she felt about how things ended, they ended.

With another breath, she dusted herself off, turning to make sure Arachne was okay before offering a hand. "Here," She reached down to help her sparring partner sit up, giving a calmer expression. "Nice fight by the way."

Arachne simply endured, as Amano rubbed her demonic booty all over her face. The spider didn't blame her of course, having done the exactly same thing to the demon twice now. Furthermore, Arachne was just as disappointed at how their spar would end as Amano was. The heel now wished she had set the terms so that Reiko would have to facesit Arachne more than Arachne had done to her prior, only so that the two lightweights could brawl some more. Fighting the demon was a ton of fun, but they were both pretty tired at this point anyhow.

Arachne rightfully feared Amano may smother her out in anger, but she got off in time for Arachne to reclaim her breath. Something Arachne really liked about Reiko, is that the demon seemed more upset about the ending of their spar, than she was about all of Arachne's pervious assaults and thefts. The villainess loved it when people had their priorities straight. lol

When Reiko offered her hand to Arachne, the spider took it. But rather than simply sit up, surprisingly, Arachne sprang to her feet in excitement! "Nice?! That fight was AAAAWESOOOME!" The spider sincerely chirped. "Except for the end. My bad, girl. We'll have to brawl much more in the future, so I can show you the full scope of Arachne's skills, tricks, and beyond!"

"Ah-" Arachne's sudden bounce back had Reiko stagger back a step, blinking at the woman's near elation after the spar. She was practically giddy after all the brawling and impromptu violence the two gave each other. It... definitely had Reiko staring. Being in a good mood after a decent spar was pretty normal for someone like her, but for someone as cartoonish and playful as Arachne to get this pumped afterwards? Yeah, that was odd. Reiko honestly thought she'd be spouting off some villainous speech about how Reiko wouldn't get away with pinning the Spider, or try some last, cheap gambit for payback. Excitement and even disappoint that the fight ended?

"Kehehe..." Honestly? Reiko couldn't hold back the snickers. "Ahahahaha!" And she nearly fell over with all the laughing she did afterwards, letting go of Arachne's hand to bend over holding her stomach.

Unbelievable. After having such an intense fight and getting smothered in public all Arachne wanted was a longer fight and a chance to really show Reiko all her tricks. She wasn't even mad about losing, just that the fight had an end point and the two couldn't go all out. It was last thing she expected from someone that acted like a self-made villain. There was a battle fiend lurking within the Spider it seemed, and it ignited Reiko's own battle lust.

"Oh... Oh Kumo-chan..." Once her laughing fit died down Reiko forced herself to stand straight up, looking Arachne in the eye with a smirk, her green eyes flashing. "You're so on, Kumo-chan!" Reiko quickly bumped heads with Arachne, looking her right in the eye. "Round 2's gonna' be in the ring, and you better have some anti-demon charms in that backpack of yours if you wanna' survive!" Reiko couldn't hide the mad grin on her face. That fight was too exciting to resist the chance of a rematch. It was way to sudden to really get into it fully, and by the time the two were in the right mindset things had ended. They needed a do-over, another chance to trade blows in the proper setting. Back in California Lunar had said that Reiko was probably the only battle moron in LAW, but it looks like a second one was staring her right in the face.

The Rascal Demon and Villainous Spider had to clash again. Reiko's body wouldn't let the chance slip away.

Deviating from her villainous disposition for a moment, Arachne was simply happy to have been giving a great fight. Despite all the trouble Arachne had caused beforehand, she had come here for an invigorating spar with a demon, and she had gotten her wish. Her friend Antonia was even more prone to excitement from challenging bouts, and the ant general's quirk definitely had an influence on her.

As Reiko stood at Arachne stunned and wide eyed for a moment, the spider blushed slightly, realizing her sparing partner didn't expect this from her. The heel was having one her 'she's not that bad moments'. These were moments Arachne typically tried to keep under wraps, and something Honie, her bee hero friend, constantly teased her about. However, as Reiko began laughing, Arachne joined right along, even louder than the demon before her. "HehHehHeh...Hehehe...AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!"

After the two tough lightweights were finally done laughing, Reiko accepted Arachne's challenge and bumped her noggin against the bug's own. Arachne pressed her forehead against Amano's in turn. "Excellent!" Arachne responded, with a same glint in her eyes as Reiko. "And you better bring along some bug-repellent, if you wanna come out of it alive!"

Arachne then turned her attention to the crowd watching them. "Attention! To prevent a similar backpack mishap from happening again, it seems it's in Arachne's best interest to rid her bag of the stolen items." Arachne announced. Some of the robbed gym-goers smiled, though Arachne's nefarious smirk would soon return. She was not about to simply hand back all the stuff she took, going to person to person like an apologetic child? LOL. Not on her life.

"THINK FAST! MWAHAHAHAHAAAAA!" Arachne suddenly opened and swung her backpack, in a way so that all the top belongs came flying out! The watch, a half-eaten cookie, and the rest of her stolen possessions came flying at the crowd! Miraculously, the guy who had been wondering around the gym at least managed to catch his previously stolen glasses. But people still left grumbling, after most of them had to pick their belongings off the floor. Arachne then turned her attention back to Reiko. "There we go. Promise kept. Problem solved." The villainess snickered.

Amano found herself grinning wide at Arachne's proclamation, eyes igniting brighter at her new rival's words. "Oh, I will!" She shot back, pulling away. It was happening after all. A new rival was made, and a rather strong one at that who pushed Reiko to her limits... and that was just in a spar. The idea of what could happen in a serious match with their pride truly on the line... it got her excited. She could only imagine the tries and schemes the two would have for each other. "Hehe..." She couldn't wait.

Then, true to her word, Arachne announced her return of the stolen items... followed by scattering said items to the four winds with a wide and wild swing.

Reiko stared with wide eyes, her jaw nearly dropping from how fast the act was. In a flash people were scrambling to catch the mess of knickknacks, snacks, and personal possessions. And of course, the people's relief for getting their things immediately followed with grumbles, hisses, and bitter remarks about the method. Even Reiko was shaking her head. She couldn't exactly call Arachne out, not since she was technically at fault for the situation. But... she only gave a disapproving frown before sighing. Yeah... I should of seen that coming... Still, she forced herself to switch back to a straight face, only giving Arachne a wry smile in turn. "You know that's no what I meant..." Still, Reiko couldn't help but keep the smile. Maybe it was all the spent energy on the fight that kept her calm, maybe it was her honest enjoyment of Arachne's cartoonish antics. Rivalry aside... there was some honest kinship between the two, Reiko could feel it. But for now...

"Well, I'm gonna' shower and get changed. I think I got enough of a workout today." With that, Reiko turned on a heel and started to heading to the locker rooms. As crazy as things got, it was a fun time. Hopeful an actual match between the two would be even more exciting.

Who could tell?

End.
