When a comet strikes- Gryff (D) vs Athena!

*With Athena's defeat almost guaranteed given her defenseless position, Gryff was about to execute the jaw dropping move when he abruptly felt his luggage slip out from within his grasp. Glancing over his shoulder, he realized that the goddess was much more resilient than he had given her credit for, but he began to concoct a strategy regarding how he could regain control.*

"Grrrrrk!" *However, it seemed as though Athena had a different plan- One that directly conflicted with what The Cobalt Comet was formulating. The stunning blow to his spine sent him hobbling forward, his hands jutting out in front of him to try and snag the ropes for leverage.* "Th...that all you got?" *He meekly inquired, his earlier vigor having left his cadence while attempting to elevate his foot for a boot to her face!*

Successfully escaping Gryff's attempt to end the match and then hitting him right on his back, Athena smiled, knowing that she had an opportunity here to gain an upper hand over her male opponent. When she saw Gryff trying to go for a kick to her face, Athena would avoid the attack, moving slightly to the side, and seeing that Gryff had brought one of his feet up, Athena figured that he was standing on one foot, and this would leave him unsteady.

While Gryff was still on one foot, Athena would hold out her right arm before she attempted to knock him down with a clothesline. With him still standing on one foot, Athena thought that knocking him down would be as easy as knocking down a house of cards.

*Putting all his eggs in one basket, Gryff's body was forced into a tilted position with his last, extended kick to try and discombobulate the enormous Athena! His risky gambit would ultimately under deliver, having been clearly telegraphed due to his noticeable fatigue, allowing the veteran goddess to properly retaliate!*

"Hhhhrrk!" *The breathtaking blow knocked the wind out of Gryff's sails, his body instantaneously rocking backwards and ricocheting off the turnbuckle, sending him spiraling towards the floor.* "Fffuck~" *He tentatively muttered, trying to quietly conceal the stiffening bump near the divide of his legs!*

The force of the clothesline seemed to have knocked Gryff out of the ring, and Athena took a look at him and allowed herself to smile. She also noticed the growing bulge on the male wrestler's crotch. Something to keep in mind for later. For now, Athena would make her way to the ropes before slipping out, hopping off of the apron to the floor outside. Both wrestlers were now outside the ring.

"ONE!"

Now that she was outside, Athena would approach the downed Gryff, planning to grab and pick him up, dragging him closer to the apron of the ring. From there, she would try to slam him back first onto the hard part of the ring, looking to inflict more damage on him before shoving him back into the ring, looking to continue the match without having to worry about being counted out.

"Need to...concentrate here..." *His mind sinking into the abyss of disorganization from both the thrashing he was receiving and the growing arousal he was experiencing, Gryff's attention was elsewhere, and while he managed to make it to the edge of the arena he noticed the fans suddenly gasp, causing his head to tilt upward, just in time to catch Athena joining him.*

*Elevating his forearms to try and protect himself, this proved to be a fruitless effort, her body producing more power than he gave her credit for!* "Ggrrrhhh!" *The debilitating shock she sent down his backside was almost enough to down him once again, but through sheer perseverance he refused to buckle as she casually rolled him under the bottom rope to try and finish him off.*

"Hhmm...that's right...come get some.." *He contemplated to himself, putting on a convincing act as he gnashed his teeth and whimpered in misery as he painstakingly crawled towards an adjacent corner for reprieve.*

Pushing Gryff back into the ring after slamming him back first onto the apron, Athena climbed up the apron and reentered the ring, thus bringing the fight back into the ring. Seeing that her opponent was crawling towards the direction of a corner, Athena thought that she shouldn't give him any chance to recover as she would approach him, looking to grab him before he could reach the corner and pull him up.

"Come on, boy... I'm not quite done yet..." Athena crooned as she would force Gryff to get back up onto his feet. Dragging him a bit closer to the ropes, she would then push him back first towards the ropes and have him bounce back towards her so that she could scoop him up upon returning to her, lifting him up before slamming him down onto the mat with a rather powerful uranage!

*Hearing Athena's footsteps from afar, Gryff quietly praised himself for the impeccable performance he was putting on- While initially apprehensive, it seemed as though his little stunt went off without a hitch, allowing him to tarry near the center rope until hearing Athena's condescending remark. She seemed quite partial to using such snarky verbiage, which was perfectly fine in Gryff's book, especially considering what he was about to put her through!*

"Surprise!" *Leaping at the chance to tip the scales in his favor, he took the towering amazon by surprise with a lightning quick elbow to her stomach, knocking her backwards to provide himself with enough space for his follow up- Dashing forward, Gryff suddenly vaulted into the air while simultaneously snagging Athena's skull for leverage, attempting to slam her face down across his shins for a codebreaker!*

When she was about to send Gryff down with her uranage, Athena took an elbow to her gut, thwarting her effort. "GUH!!!" Staggering back, Athena was exposed to her opponent's next move, which was a codebreaker, where Gryff grabbed her by her head and brought her face first across his shins!

"UAGHHH!!"

She recoiled from the move, falling backwards. She ended up on her own back, staring up at the ceiling. Left disoriented, she had put herself in quite a disadvantageous position, and Gryff would be free to do whatever he wished on her at this point.

*As his move connected with a thunderous* "WHUD!" *That seemingly left his adversary motionless, The Comet was rather stunned himself- Things typically never started out so great for him in the past, so capitalizing upon his momentum was paramount! Kipping himself up, he launched towards the nearest turnbuckle, perched upon the top turnbuckle while gawking down towards his foe!*

"And THIS is what happens when you cross the likes of the comet!" *He Brazenly touted, almost as if he had the match in the bag before taking flight, attempting to wrap everything up in a neat, little bow with a body splash that would undoubtedly smash the air out of his target!*

Athena was disoriented after taking all those attacks from Gryff. Still, with Gryff climbing up the turnbuckle, Athena was given enough time to regain her bearing and recover. She would wait for the right moment to get up as Gryff was preparing himself to launch his next attack, and when Gryff was about to jump into the air, Athena would push herself up with a groan, forcing herself to get back up. She would look at the direction of Gryff, who had taken flight from the turnbuckle.

With Gryff now in midair, unable to change his trajectory, Athena would try to catch him in the air before attempting to counter his attempt to hit her with his aerial maneuver by swinging him down onto the mat with a power slam! She might still be recovering from all the damage that she had taken, but the power slam would inflict massive damage if it was successful. With Gryff on the mat, Athena would quickly position herself near his head, bringing her legs around his head to put him into a headscissor.

"Haa... haaa... h-how about that?" Athena challenged as she would start squeezing Gryff's head between her thighs in the headscissor.
