The Queen Buster!!

Kyoko was furious. After her match against Marissa ended when the girl was able to get a luck roll up and the ref didn't realize she had kicked out milliseconds before the three Kyoko chased after Marissa but the girl was smart..she didn't stick around backstage to get caught and Kyoko couldn't find her anywhere. It was like she vanished, though she didn't go away, having a few matches in between that Kyoko wasn't allowed to get involved in as she just had to try and find the right time to get her hands on her.

Though sadly today she needed to work out. She had been away for too long and didn twant to fall behind. Regardless of some fluke she still needed to be in top shape as she was the best wrestler this company had and if she couldnt back that up she didnt deserve her belt. Getting changed in the locker room Kyoko made way for the door to the gym as she wondered what she should work on next.

Marissa was feeling great, coming off of a win on her debut against a Champion no less! She was pretty sure everyone was writing her off as a loser with how Kyoko was beating her in the ring, dominating even besides a few spurts of offense but here she was, victorious! She had so much energy in her as she was pumped, even if her stomach was still burning from the beating Kyoko gave it but that was no excuse! She had claimed the title of Belly Buster when she got here, she had a reputation now to up keep!

On one of the benches, hooking her legs in the part to lock herself as she was curling up, training those abs to define themselves much like her growing career in LAW! She felt on fire right now, like nothing could get in her way! That energy was being outputted through her training as she kept at it, the more it burned the more it was working she told herself.

All the while she was doing this, she was blissfully unaware of who just entered the room....

Hopefully the day would go without incident. she didnt want to be here, where people might try and insult her for losing to a rookie. but she had to work out properly or more losses would be coming her way. So she just hoped to drone them out. Its not like people would be catching her on sight, sure she was well known but people had lives to live as well and if she didnt make a scene shed be more then fine.

Of course then she saw Marissa...just working out...

Kyoko stopped dead in her tracks looking at the blonde training as if she wasn't here. She had to have noticed her. How could she miss her?! Kyoko growled and walked, or more stomped towards the Belly buster as she stopped right by Marissa looking downright livid. "And just what are you doing here!!?"

With her earphones in her ears as her pumping music was blasting to keep herself focused, Marissa had barely noticed someone standing right next to her as it took a few seconds. Her eyes would look up as she continued to curl herself as she realized that it was Kyoko who was standing over her. Her music drowned out the roaring voice of Kyoko as Marissa pulled out the earbuds and was completely unaware of her former opponent's explosive greeting.

"Oh hey, Kyoko! Fancy seeing you here!" she let out, she was oblivious to the Belly Queen's great displeasure with her as she continued to curl, her eyes keeping locked on Kyoko with a smile on her face. She was completely unaware that all of her actions could come off as standoffish and arrogant, especially to someone as prideful as the Champion.

"Heh, you gave me quite the run last time, didn't think I was going to come out with the win for a moment!"

Kyoko's eye twitched as the girl wasnt even listening, or worse was pretending not to listen as she promptly started to act super friendly despite Kyoko never being much more then competitive to her. For a brief moment it reminded her of her old self, before she remembered how weak she was and the embarrassing events that took place that changed her. Hell in time Kyoko was sure Marissa would thank her for smacking the naivety out of her like she very much planned to.

"Fancy seeing me here? Its a gym...where do you think i improve? And i had you during that match. As in i should have won, that count was far too freaking fast to be fair and now i have a bs loss on my record!" Kyoko said as she pointed at Marissa. "And im not going to stand around and let people figure that out for themselves. The longer i let this slide the more and more people will think im losing my touch. I can shut them up in time but i have more important things to worry about. So ill be using you to make that example crystal clear."

Marissa's eyes widened as she winched while she was upside down, she didn't expect such a harsh reaction from Kyoko. But then she started to think about it and then she began to see things from Kyoko's perspective and it would look very bad for a Champion to lose to someone completely new to the business on her first match no less!

"Use me as an example? Ha! You may have beaten me up pretty bad, but I'm not just coasting on my win over you!" she let out, grabbing onto the bench as she unhooked her legs to roll backwards and get to her feet, turning around to face the Belly Queen Champion. "You're going to see that I'm a quick learner! I'm going to have a better showing against you the next time we fight! Although..." she trained off as she brought a finger to her chin as a mischievous smile curled on her face.

"Because I beat you, doesn't that mean I'm Number One in getting a shot at your championship?"

The utter arrogance of this woment to presume she had the right to face her for her title after this little fluke was astounding! Kyoko was getting ready to completely just lay the girl out for her attitude. That smile made it worse but Kyoko stopped as she began to think about what she was saying. It was dumb as hell but there was the risk of what she might do if she refused. Marissa could start calling her out and talking about her avoiding things and sneak attacking Marissa instead. The last thing she needed was to be seen as a coward.

Kyoko pointed at the blonde and poked her chest as she got in her face. "Lets make one thing clear. Your a sweet little girl and new, which is the only reason im letting that arrogant remark slide. Your far from the no. 1 contender, im shooting down worthier challenge for my belt left and right." Kyoko said as she folded her arms. "That being said...I do have an idea. An offer too good to refuse."

Marissa's smile faded when Kyoko pressed her finger into her chest and refused her challenge, "What? Turning down challengers? What's the point of being Champion if you're not going to defend it? That's like, totally boring and weak!" Marissa innocuously let out as her curiosity get the best of her along with her running mouth.

But then Kyoko let out something that peaked her interest. Kyoko had an idea for her, at first Marissa thought that she was going to be challenging her to another match but she'd figured that there was no need for her to be coy about it. She was very interested in it. "Go on...what do you have in mind?"

She had no idea how she wasnt smacking her across the face. Kyoko felt like doing so was more and more warranted with each second. Though she just calmly took a breath. Now wasnt the time, inflicting pain on those who pissed her off was more was more fun when she did it in a crowd to really embarrass them and what she had in mind was really going to embarrass them.

Smirking she pointed to Marissa's abs. "What i said is true. You don't deserve a shot at my belt but to knock that notion out of you and everyone else. im going to give it to you anyway. If you win not only do you take the belt but Ill be your biggest supporter and wont try and take it back from you, hell ill pay for your own version of the new belt. But when i win you have to verbally admit that your victory over me is a fluke for everyone to see." She said offering her hand. "That sound good enough for you?"

Marissa's eyes widened, she couldn't believe that after what Kyoko said that she was granting Marissa a title shot! Even though she heard Kyoko still admitting that Marissa didn't deserve a title match, the Blonde Canadian would still disagree as she felt that even with a roll up victory, it still was a victory over Kyoko.

But of course there was a catch. If Marissa lost she had to pretty much announce that her victory over Kyoko would mean nothing. But rewards didn't not come without risks and especially when there was a chance to become a Champion so early on in her career! She wasn't going to back down from it. "Ha! Okay, I'll accept those terms! You're going to regret looking down on me when I take that belt away from you!"
