The very first man to face the Egyptian royal in the ring. Qin liked the sound of that, and had decided that for as bad as debut fights go, this didn’t seem too bad at all. An anything goes match too, would allow him to show off and most importantly explore his strengths and limitations in the ring. Of course he had
watched and
trained but that simply hadn’t been enough for him to fully test out his endurance and his strength.
Above all, he hoped this woman, Selket, could make him push himself. It would be.. boring, if not. The sound of her theme and the knocking on his door roused himself out of his thoughts. But he was already ready, and all he had to do was advance to the stage. And advance he did.
..
. . . .
It was as if a switch had flipped. Making his way out of the room, striding past guerrilla position, Qin stepped out into the arena. His body language was no longer relaxed and at ease, now he was carrying himself with a sense of gentle dominance, where many would simply feel it excluding off his body.. like one of the historic rulers of old he was related to.
As his theme spewed from the speakers, the intended Lord of the Ring raised his muscular arms in the air, showing off his perfectly built body to the crowd, a pattern of star tattoo’s dotting his neck. The crowd seemed to like his look, and he received a much more enthusiastic applause than was normal for a newcomer. As he strode down the isle and got into the ring with a little upswing, all eyes seemed to follow him.
But by then, he only had eyes for his foe. Selket seemed to live up to all the expectations he had for her, even towering over him by a inch. It didn’t matter for Qin too much, but still- impressive. She seemed like she would be a tough.. and yet equally lovely foe. At long last, he addressed her.
“O alluring and powerful Princess of Egypt! I am Qin Zhao, a newcomer to the ring, but one versed in the art of battle very well! I do not doubt you can give me a difficult challenge.. but victory will always remain in my grasp. It would do you well to remember that.”
A small smirk on his lips, even as his deep voice spoke in rich tones. A hand rested against his waist, as he met her eyes and waited for her to reply.
