Blair's fists clenched underneath the table as the tension welled up in her body, and she grit her teeth in frustration, trying her best to keep herself from snapping. Her brow furrowed and her eye twitched; with every fiber of her being she was trying to prevent herself from lashing out at Shizuka, but she knew that this wasn't the time - she was their guest here, and she was in no condition to fight if it came down to that. Still, this girl was doing a fantastic job of digging her way under her skin, picking at every flaw and regret Blair had shame for, and bringing up her most embarrassing losses - not to mention the fact that, the way Shizuka painted it, the way she had reacted to those losses was even more shameful than her loss in the first place.

"Shut...up..." Blair hissed from behind a mouth full of tightly-clenched teeth, keeping her voice as low as she could. "I'm not a failure..! You watched me...you should know-!" But no matter how much she wanted to take back her dignity, she knew Shizuka was right. In the back of her head, she knew how much she had failed.

Blair was struggling to keep her composure, but even she had a breaking point. As Shizuka brought in Tia Langray - the woman who had taught her while she was training in Thailand - that was too far. She couldn't play the part of a respectable person any longer. Leaning across the table, Blair grabbed for Shizuka's shoulders, staring a cold glare dead into her eyes. "You never bring her into this again," she hissed. Tia had nothing to do with this, and Blair wouldn't let her be pulled into this too.

Shizuka would have let out grin as she could felt in the air, the frustration that is building up inside of Blair. She already did a bit of research on Blair when Takashi bring her up in the past. She know enough to know what make her tick and what will get under her skin, however she was surprice on the fact that Blair is mentally strong enough not to lash out...but she have a feeling that it will crack soon enough just need a bit more push

"I did watch it, that is why i know you are a failure...at first i thought you could potentially be intresting, but you quit after a mere lost. There is nothing more pathetic than someone who have everything only to abondon it after a failure" shizuka said as there a slight hit of anger in her voice as it seem the word she saying is slightly personal to her

Shizuka was about to say another word but it was suddenly interupted when Blair would have grab her ahold of her shoulder tightly and began glaring at her in the eye. Seeing this reaction the slight bit of anger in shizuka would have dissapear replacing it is a mocking grin as she would have smack Blair hand off her shoulder. "Why shouldn't i bring her into this? A trainee can only be as good as it's trainer, since you are a failure then it is a valid reasoning for Tia to be a failure as well" shizuka would have said this as she would have walk away from the table as she would have lean in against the wall in a clear point of view of Blair, and there is nothing obstructing Blair path toward shizuka if she wish to do. Shizuka would have let out a grin "isn't that right Blair Yuen?"

Blair bit her lip, keeping her fist contorted in a tight ball as she rest it on the table. She was doing everything she could to reign in whatever impulses she had to lash out, no matter how much she wanted to. Bringing up all of her past defeats wasn't just stirring up embarrassing memories; for Blair, this was a direct attack on her character. It fed into her own most destructive thoughts and worries, the ones that kept her up at night. If she stayed in the sports she had tainted her career in with her losses, then what was the point, when everyone would only know her from when she was at her worst? But, conversely, if she kept running from her failures, like she was afraid to face them, did she even deserve all the victories and the championships she'd held to begin with? No matter how she thought about it, there was nothing Blair could take pride in. She couldn't win. And now, her worst fears were confirmed - everyone else looked at her record with shame and scorn, too.

The tension was growing in her, and she began to fidget anxiously in her seat. She told herself she couldn't get defensive about this. That would undermine the whole point she was making, if Shizuka would see that she couldn't handle such a mirror being held up to herself. But when Tia came into the picture, that was when she knew she had to do something. Tia Langray was a woman she respected, not just for the role she'd played in her training, but for shaping who she was as a person - not to mention having a storied career in her own right. Blair wasn't standing up for herself any more. She had to defend Tia's honor!

But even that wouldn't get Shizuka to back down. As effortlessly as if Blair had touched her with a single finger, she shook her off, and now the Muay Thai fighter found herself faced with Shizuka bearing down on her, filling her whole field of vision. Her eyes went wide, and she began to shrink back into her seat. "You stop that-! She's trained plenty of other fighters who have gone on to greatness, and...and..." Blair's face had gone pale, but as she realized that in her own words she wasn't worthy of numbering herself among Tia's star trainees, a blush rose in her cheeks. She glanced off, biting her lip as she kicked her legs nervously in the air. Shizuka might not have known it, but she had broken through to the most vulnerable part of Blair's psyche - her worries and self-doubts. Now, even her pride couldn't save her. Not even in her own eyes.

If there is one sure fire way to destory someone internally or making them angry is by attacking their pride, highlight their pride to the point that is the only thing that they can think off then you begin attacking their pride, belittle it, shove it in their face that all of the time they spend polishing their skills, all the time they push someone away to polish their skill even further, all the time they spend away from their family...all the time they are a promice greatness...it is all for nothing

When you manage to make them felt that way or even halfway there, then there is generally two type of reactions following it. Either they reject it and lash out or they will let the word get to them as they will become full of doubt they couldn't do anything anymore. Either reaction is fine for shizuka she enjoy seeing both of them

"And what?...are you about to mention she train you? If i am wrong then you free to refute me, you know?" Shizuka said with a grin "but you can't do that, can you?...you know i am right that is why you didn't refute me" she said as she would have step one step closer toward Blair "i have done my research on Tia so i only see two of her student...you and the one that break your nose...and honestly you both are as disappointing as each other...raising one failure is one thing but two? Are you sure Tia is not a failure as well?"

Even as she began to shrink back from Shizuka's teasing, fidgeting nervously in her seat, Blair could feel the frustration welling up inside of her as she listened to what the girl had to say. She bit at her lip, and her forehead furrowed as her eyes narrowed into a glare. Beneath the table, her fingers clenched into a tight fist, though she held onto it with her other hand to try and keep it still as her body shook. A part of her wanted to run away so that she wouldn't have to face the facts, but she knew there was nowhere she had to run to - which only made things worse. Another part of her wanted to stand and fight, but she knew she couldn't do that, either. She'd only be proving how thin-skinned she was, no matter how much she wanted to be better than that. And Lunar had told her that she wasn't in any shape to do something like that, anyway. By all means, it was a stupid thing to do.

And yet, Shizuka was making it very hard for her to resist. One of her eyelids twitched as she fought to keep her hand down, but soon, she realized, there was no use in fighting it any more. There was only one way she could possibly convince this girl, and words were failing her.

"Let...this refute you, then-!" Gnashing her teeth, Blair swung a fist out from under the table, and straight toward Shizuka! She'd have to show her firsthand what Tia had taught her!

Shizuka knew from the slight movement of Blair body that her anger is at boiling point. She only need a bit more push in order go push it over the edge, and push over the edge she did. Blair reaction is exactly what shizuka wanted and predicted as she would have give a mocking smile when she saw Blair send out a punch toward her "how is this a refute, when it is useless!" Shizuka would have said as she would have send a round house kick toward Blair face.

In this sistuasion there is only two result in a normal sistuasion. Either Blair landed her hit first that will knock back shizuka straight toward the wall or shizuka will land her hit first and send Blair toward the ground. However this is not a normal sistuasion at all.

Shizuka's leg that was about to connect with Blair head would have suddenly change direction ever so slight missing Blair head by a hair, then suddenly Blair would have suddenly felt the slight of push on her fist downward which will cause her to potentially lose her balance and miss shizuka ever so slightly.

The suddenly change in direction made toward her kick would have cause shizuka to lose her balance slight as she would stumble a few step as her eye widen ever "R-" her word suddenly cut off as a pot would have suddenly get shove to her head covering her upperbody entirely and making her unable to see or even move her arm as a muffle sound would have come out of the pot as any word that shizuka may have spoken becoming unclear due to the pot in her head

A sigh could be heard coming from behind Blair as a pan would have come down toward her and hit her lightly in the head...in fact light is a understatement it is more like a pat from a pan than anything else

"I told you not to fight, didn't i?" Lunar voice would have come out from behind Blair "and you, hellhound should have keep your mouth shut! What did i tell you about starting a fight?" She said in a monotone voice but what come out of shizuka is only a muffle "I ask you a question hellhound, answer it clearly" lunar would have said as even though her tone is still monotone there is a clear a sudden threat in her voice that demand the complience to answer her question but the only thing that come out of shizuka is a muffle but it is louder this time "...oh yeah, your head is in a pot of course you can't answer clearly" and as quick as it come the threat in her voice is gone just as quick and sudden as lunar would have suddenly smack the pot that shizuka reside in with the same pan that she pat Blair in causing shizuka to let out a muffle scream from the sudden loud and vibrating sound that she is currently experiencing

Shizuka was getting on Blair's nerves already, but this was a step too far. Hearing her punches being described as "useless" only twisted the knife in her back, and she realized there was no use in fighting back her impulses any more. She needed to prove that she was no one to be trifled with, and the only way she could do that was to show Shizuka her prowess first-hand!

Blair had had enough time in the world of professional fighting to know that she could pack a punch, and she was quick to throw her fist through the air, aimed straight at the girl. As soon as it hit, she told herself, that would answer any question that still remained as to whether or not her skills could hold up. But Shizuka was just as quick - and she soon shot back with a move of her own. When she raised her leg for a kick, Blair braced herself, preparing to take the impact head-on. She didn't have any time to correct her course. But instead, Shizuka's leg swerved to the side at the last minute, moved by something Blair didn't notice. Blair raised an eyebrow, taken unaware by the diversion. That slowed her down, just long enough for something to shove her arm and divert it to the side, where she fell forward with a gasp as her fist came streaking by and hit thin air! "No-!"

But before Shizuka could do anything to capitalize on the situation, a pot came down over her head, muffling her voice and blocking her face from view. Blair spun around to face it, and though she wasn't normally one to revel in the misery of others, even she couldn't help but stifle a chuckle at the sight. Of course, that would soon be dampened moments later, when Lunar tapped a pan over her head. Realizing what she had gotten herself into, she let out a sigh, her shoulders slumping as she settled back into her seat. She rubbed at her knuckles as she glanced off. Once again, her temper had gotten the better of her - just as it had when she was facing off against Lunar in their match. Now, her punishment came as an all-too-sore reminder of how she had cost herself the win...

...Although, when Lunar proceeded to slam the pan down on top of Shizuka's pot-covered head, she did chuckle a little to herself.

Lunar would have look over her shoulder when she heard a chuckle as she would have let out a soft smile when she see that Blair found some amusement in this sistuasion. However, that smile of hers gone as quickly as it came she would have gone back to her usual poker face as she would have grap the pot that is stuck in shizuka freeing her as lunar would have put the pot and pan on a table nearby

When shizuka get free from the pot of hell, she would have glare toward Blair...at least she would have if lunar didn't suddenly pulled her hard straight toward the exit as she would have let out a yelp in surpice from the sudden pull "r-boss why are you doing?!" She said in a panic tone

"You are going to work now" Lunar would have said bluntly as it would have been responded by shizuka by a annoyed whine "you have been absent from work for weeks, and you only left a letter saying you are absent!? Pitiful i order Gabil to deliver you a full sentence!"

Hearing this shizuka face would have go from a pout to a look of absolute shock "wa-wait no, have mercy! Don't throw me into the lion den"

"You the gate keeper of the fourth gate of hell and you scared of a mere lion den? Pitiful"

"No no no we are not roleplaying our role right now, shizuka is a mere innocent little fairy that haven't anything wrong in shizuka life, listen to your inner heart and have mercyyyyy"

"I am listening very closely to my inner heart and it said that i should tell gabil to double it if you don't come for your next week of shift"

Hearing this shizuka would have frozen in shock as she can not even offer a replied as Lunar would have slowly drag her toward the door and began to push her toward it "go on, don't make me call gabil right now" she said in a monotone tone

Shizuka would have let out a sigh "fine i will go" she said softly as she would have glare at Blair when she thought lunar wasn't looking as shizuka would have look away as she would have finally leave the place...or at least that should have what happen

"Wait!"

Shizuka would have stop suddenly before she close the door fully as she would have look extremely annoyed "WH-?" Before shizuka could even finish her sentence Lunar would have suddenly began brushing shizuka hair stunning her in silence as she has a shock look on her face

"You have a messy hair and i will not let you leave my place with such a messy hair!" Lunar would have stated bluntly "and it will get cold soon so becareful" she said as she would have suddenly pull out a bunny beanie hat a she put in on shizuka head then she would have suddenly pull out a rainbow scarf as she wrap it around shizuka neck as shizuka face would have grew redder and redder as the time goes by and lunar would have keep pampering her and making sure that the cloth that shizuka wearing is tidy, making sure she bring a umbrella, making sure her drink is full, making sure she bring a bento box so she doesn't get hungry "oh yeah, bring this miso so-"

"ENOUGH!" shizuka yelled out in embarrassments as her face look like it was ready to explode as she would have slam the door closed shut not grabbing the miso soup that Lunar preapare for her

"...." Lunar would have stay silent for a moment as she would have stare at the close door for a minute as she would have look down at the miso soup that she is holding "did she want oax soup instead?" She wonder outloud

When Lunar and Shizuka faced each other, Blair could only look on as an outside observer, watching the proceedings with a blank stare. She had no idea what things were truly like between these two, and in all honesty she didn't know if she ever would; she had resigned to the fact that it was probably best not to think too hard about it. Their relationship seemed like a...complicated one, to say the least, given how panicked Shizuka seemed at the sound of Lunar's threats. She didn't know who this Gabil was, and what work Shizuka was supposed to do - knowing what they got up to, she didn't know if she wanted to ask, either.

She did have to wince as Lunar berated Shizuka for having messy hair, and her muscles grew tense as she sunk into her seat. Was that how she could expect, too? If Lunar was going to berate her this much over such little things, she wasn't sure if this was for the best after all. However, when all she did was tie a scarf around Shizuka's neck and check over everything she had, Blair's nervous expression turned into a bit of a smirk. Lunar didn't seem so frightening after all - if anything, she reminded her more of an overly concerned mother. And seeing Shizuka, the same girl who had rattled her composure a moment ago, get so flustered about being wrapped up in a scarf with a bunny beanie left her struggling to hold back the urge to giggle, though she bit her lip, knowing it was better not to attract her ire.

Once Shizuka was out the door, Blair leaned closer against the table, once again feeling comfortable enough to speak up. "Well, uh..." She drummed her fingers against the table, trying to think of something inoffensive enough to say. "It must be...interesting, living around here..."

Lunar would have let out a sigh as she would have wonder to herself if shizuka prefer ox soup compare to miso soup...well she would have to remember that for next time when shizuka barge in next time. Lunar would have approached Blair as she would have put the miso soup in front of Blair

Lunar would have glance at Blair as her bright red eye observe Blair for a second when she heard Blair word. "...not really, i say living here is quite normal. the most not normal in here is when hellhound, or valley barge in unannounced...i just live here alone alongside my pets" Lunar would have said softly as she look away not looking Blair in the eye when she speak

"...i have zero idea on what hellhound said to you since i only arrive when you about to throw a punch at her...but i figure hellhound said something to upset you...and looking at you being nervous when speaking...meaning hellhound tell you about me..." she said softly as she sigh "you don't need to what hellhound said about me that seriously...she often exaggerate thing when she told story about me..." she said softly

"Let me get this straight, i am only here to take care of you because my uncle told me to do so...there no ulterior motive what so ever. So you don't need to be all tense and vigity around me...i will worry if i do something wrong if you keep doing that idiot" she would have mumble the last part of her sentence as she look away refusing to look Blair in the eye
