Though this was the first time Keqing ever fought under boxing rules, she was feeling pretty confident about her upcoming fight. She had recently taken part in a variety of different types of matches, apartment wresting, MMA, and now her first official boxing match. Each time she was able to adapt and overcome her competition, building her confidence and making her feel like she could take on any kind of opponent. Sure, she knew that Rosie Knuckles was more experienced at boxing, that much was apparent just from her name, but that wasn't going to intimidate Keqing. She had already shown everyone that she could take on more experienced fighters at their best kind of fight and win, and she felt confident that tonight she would do the same.

"Good evening everyone!" the voice of the announcer boomed over the speakers, "Tonight we have a very special Foxy Boxing match! A newcomer to the ring will be facing off against a veteran! Will we see the underdog get the upset? Or will she be stripped naked and knocked out? Make your predictions now!"

"Introducing our first fighter, standing at 5'6" weighing 125 lbs, fighting out of Singapore, please welcome Blazing Lightning Keqing!"

Keqing walked out onto the entrance ramp dressed in a purple robe. At her name she threw the hood off her head, revealing her purple hair and trademark hair cones and twintails. She raised her hand to the air to acknowledge the crowd, her fist clenched inside of a purple boxing glove. She made her way to the ring, shrugging off her robe when she was in her corner, hanging it on the corner post. Underneath she wore what had become her usual attire, a purple and white bikini top and bottom, and a pair of purple and white boots. She didn't have her pads on this time around, after all this wasn't a wrestling match, she wasn't going to need them.

After making her entrance, she settled in her corner, shadowboxing to get used to fighting with boxing gloves, getting her blood flowing for the upcoming match. Despite her confidence she knew not to underestimate her opponent. She had to be ready for Rosie Knuckles, fighting at tip-top shape if she was to win this match!

The arena got dark as Skulls by Halestorm began to play. Strobe lights swarmed the stage until the music kicks up and Rosie Knuckles walked out in the middle of the lights with her arms out to a mixture of loud boos and cheers, the crowd very mixed on how to approach the mean, pint-sized brawler. Rosie had a reputation for not giving an ounce to her opponents and brutalizing them with a kick ass take-no-prisoners attitude, and this match was yet another opportunity for her to do just that.

Rosie didn't know her opponent, and she didn't really care. She was in shape, but not in shape enough for her to be worried. She could tell that this wasn't nearly the wheelhouse it was for Knuckles, being an expert boxer that had gotten her reputation as a knockout artist. And boy was she excited to continue that rep here as she made her way down the ramp with her fist held high. Rosie had on a bikini for this battle, a departure from her normal attire that was a bit more cumbersome to remove. She simply went with a dark purple and speckled two-piece that revealed a lot of her absolutely rocking body, and a pair of white boots to round off the outfit. For as rough and tumble as she was, she absolutely liked to show off just how hot she was, even in a match like this.

Sliding into the ring, Knuckles would give an unimpressed sideways glance to Keqing before going to her corner and throwing up her arms, waving on the crowd to get louder before smashing the top turnbuckle repeatedly with a satisfied grin. She was ready to fight, and fight she would. Rosie would then hop off the ropes and then take a pair of boxing gloves from the stage hand, putting them on like it was second nature and allowing the ringside attendant to tighten them both up for her. And then, she would turn to give Keqing her full attention, rolling her wrists with a cocky smirk on her pretty face. "I'm going to have fun knocking your ass out, girly," said Rosie, rolling her neck as she went towards the center of the ring casually, preparing for a face off.

As Keqing expected, her expert boxer opponent didn't think of her as much of a challenge. The dismissive attitude Rosie had told Keqing everything she needed to know. That didn't faze the purple-haired athlete though, as by this point Keqing was getting used to it. It did make her quite eager to prove Rosie wrong by punching her in the face though, that desire showing through her gleaming eyes as she glared back at her haughty opponent.

They met at the center of the ring for a tense face-off. Keqing noted that she was just a shade taller than Rosie, who had a similar build as her and very similar reach as well. Outranging her opponent probably wasn't going to be an option, Keqing thought, as she sized up Rosie and thought of how to approach this opponent. Even though she felt confident, boxing was still a new sport to her, and against an experienced fighter like Rosie she needed to be on guard.

"We'll see who will knock who out," Keqing said, giving her opponent a confident grin, "I think I might surprise you!" Being a good sportsman, Keqing extended her glove out for a fist bump, though she did not expect Rosie to reply. Just by the girl's haughty attitude and reputation, Keqing did not expect any respect.

Rosie Knuckles looked at Keqing, amused as she chuckled, turning to face the crowd as she spoke. She clearly didn't take her too seriously, this was Rosie's shit, and this girl was nothing more than a rookie at it. Rolling her eyes, she kept her eyes on the crowd as she addressed her, showing her very little respect. "You'll only surprise me if you don't go down immediately, chick," said the Pink-Haired Pugilist. She had already determined how she would fight her, but that didn't mean she couldn't have a little fun.

So Knuckles would then shrug as she faced the crowd before firing a sideways jab directly towards Keqing's face, hoping to land a quick punch that would catch the purple-haired girl off guard, if only to just clown on her for the moment and have fun at her expense. Some people loved that part of Rosie, and some people hated her for not being a good sport: but Rosie didn't care either way. She was here to kick ass and have a good time doing it.

Keqing figured that Rosie wouldn't take her up on the fist bump, but it still hurt a little when her opponent showed such disrespect. She frowned as Rosie left her hanging, pulling her hand back after a moment. "Well, have it your way," Keqing said as she tried to pull back and settle into a fighting stance, "If you want to be rude I don't-"

Her eyes widened as she saw Rosie suddenly fire off a powerful punch right at her! The bell hadn't rung yet, this was obviously a cheating move. But it was still effective, catching Keqing completely off guard and smacking her right on the cheek! "Urgh!" Keqing grunted, the blow knocking her head to the side, forcing her to stumble back several steps. She nearly fell down, but caught herself just in time.

Keqing wiped the spittle off her chin. "Dammit!" she swore. Rosie just made her look like an idiot with that hit! She had to be on guard. The bell rang, signalling the official start to the fight. Keqing quickly raised her arms, expecting Rosie to follow up that hit by charging her, trying to put up her defenses before the girl could punch through any openings.

Rosie's sneak punch had hit flush into Keqing's cheek, without her even looking to see. With another shrug, Knuckles had a cheeky grin on her face as she gestured over to her opponent with a cackle. Then, she wheeled around to look at her, sticking out her tongue and looking amused. "We're in a match--there's nothing rude or not rude about it, dumb ass," said Rosie before smashing her gloves together. "Now square up so I don't feel bad for trouncing you."

Bouncing in place, Knuckles watched Keqing as she squared up with her... only to notice she was going to be on the defensive. Stopping in place, Rosie would then glance away and shake her head. "Can you believe it...?" asked Rosie to nobody in particular. Then, the pinkette looked back at Keqing with a sorry look before unleashing a flurry of punches towards Keqing. A right hook, right hook, left hook, right jab, haymaker, right jab, uppercut. She would give each punch purpose, looking to either knock Keqing directly on her ass, or put the fear in her to know better than to take her on in such a match where she would be outclassed.

Keqing was a bit spooked by Rosie's sneak attack, holding a defensive position even though she knew it gave up the initiative. Her inexperience with boxing really showed with how just one hit managed to scare her. Rosie took advantage of this, barreling in with an aggressive series of punches from all directions. Keqing covered up as best she could, blocking the flurry of blows with her arms, doing her best to dodge the ones that managed to sneak through. The punches drove her back steadily, until Keqing found her back pressed up against the ropes.

"Nngh!" she grunted. With no more room to retreat, she knew Rosie would get through her defense eventually. She had to fight back now! Leaning back into the ropes, Keqing used them to spring forward, hoping to use the extra speed and momentum to get into Rosie's guard before the girl could throw any more punches at her.

"Hah!" Keqing grunted as she got in close. She fired off two counter punches of her own, one swift jab to catch Rosie across the cheek, and then an uppercut from below to smack into Rosie's belly!

As Rosie unleashed her flurry of punches on Keqing, she didn't let up at all. She wanted to go in aggressive and throw Keqing off her game at the start, and it seemed like it worked for the most part, but Knuckles was hardly done with just that.

As Keqing came back, launching herself off the ropes, Rosie took a hard hit to her cheek, and then another to her stomach. However, it seemed like she simply allowed her to nail her with those shots, not putting up much of a defense at all.

The cotton candy-haired girl hung her head after the second blow before lifting it up to show a smirk. The blows had hurt, but she wasn't about to let Keqing think that. And besides, she did like taking a few blows anyway to gauge her opponent. Seemingly unfazed for the most part, Knuckles stared right at Keqing with a mischievous expression and said, "You got to hit me harder than that, powderpuff."

Then, Rosie would come right back at her opponent, throwing a left-right jab towards Keqing's abs and then stepping back before feinting a left hook, then coming right at the other side of her face with a right hook instead, aiming to blast her hard and display some of her boxing finesse at the same time!

Keqing's counter-punches worked, her first tagging Rosie on the cheek, and her second smashing into her hard abs. But despite putting her all into those two hits, Rosie didn't seem fazed at all. "As expected from a professional boxer," Keqing thought, "She can really take hits!" This didn't faze Keqing though, like Rosie said, it just meant she would have to hit Rosie harder!

But before she could, Rosie fired off her counterattack. Now that she was within Rosie's guard, Keqing had no time to dodge. "Guh!" she grunted as Rosie's first smashed into her gut in retaliation. She tightened her abs, tanking the hit as best she could. She was more interested in protecting her face, as getting smacked on her cheek showed Keqing that those hits hurt more.

She raised her arms as Rosie swung in for a left hook. But when the blow didn't connect, Keqing realized she had been fooled! She didn't have the time to swing her guard around to block the right hook. She ducked as best she could to avoid the hit, but it still caught her on her cheek. The blow snapped Keqing's head to the side, making her see stars as it knocked her off balance, a spray of spittle flying from her mouth from the blow. Keqing stumbled sideways, trying to regain her balance as stars spun in her vision, putting up her arms in a desperate defense to protect herself from further blows as she tried to regain her balance.

Rosie Knuckles had landed a hard hit, sending Keqing staggering away. It was then that the Pink-Haired Pugilist knew she had the advantage--even moreso. It had rattled her hard, and Knuckles only smirked and then started to come after her still. "Got you!" she yelled, following up on her prior shot, seeing Keqing on the defensive. She put her arms up to defend herself, but that could only help so much, and Rosie knew it.

So the pinkette would start firing rapid, hard shots at Keqing now. At first, she would fire punches directly towards her midsection, trying to get her to change where she was blocking. And when she had an opening, she would swing a hard punch directly towards Keqing's face, completely ready to just knock her down and out right there, or at the very least wear her down with another devastating shot. Rosie was relentless, and Keqing would find out just how relentless she was.
