Dark Gems: Selket vs Vera Sapphire

[Bare]

This was it. The end. Selket was sure of it. She had Vera dazed and out of it, defenseless and ripe for Selket to finish the woman off once and for all.

So with minimal effort she lifted Vera up, hauling the woman's body up in the air before dropping down, aiming to spike her opponent's head into the mat with a powerful package piledriver that connected beautifully!

So with the woman seemingly down Selket merely pushed down on the woman's legs, pinning her down against the mat in a simple but efficient pinfall, one that could end this bout and secure Selket's place in Apex.

But despite how sure she was... Selket was wrong. Right as the third count was about to be finished, Vera at the last moment broke free, causing Selket to gasp in shock and slowly turn to the ref with disbelief. "Are... You.... Serious?!" Selket demanded, speaking slowly with pure rage in her tone as she got up and glared at the poor ref who gulped and started to back away from her in pure and utter fear of the woman.

Of course as she menaced and attempted to bully the referee into deciding the last count as legitimate... Selket's back was turned on her opponent. But whether that would be a mistake or not would remain to be seen.

Vera’s second wind kicked in very quickly, washing over her body. She suddenly felt very re-energized, and ready to kick Selket’s butt over the ring!

She rose right as the Egyptian was bullying the ref for the 2.9 count, quickly approaching her rival, and wrapping her arms around her core!

”My, lovely…Did you forget you were fighting me?”

With a quick sultry remark, Vera lifted Selket off her feet and down onto the canvas onto her shoulders for a beautiful German Suplex!

Selket was furious! She knew that was a three count it just had to be! Yet this damned ref had counted slow, no doubt to see her fail or as a demented favor for her opponent.

Naturally however Selket and the referee weren't the only two people in the ring. There was a third presence that Selket overlooked due to how much damage she had done, who she was sure wouldn't be able to reach.

But when she felt the arms lock around her waist the Egyptian knew exactly who it was and how much trouble she was in. Not even able to say anything in reaction Selket found herself swung backwards, slamming into the mat with a perfect German suplex! "AGH!" Crying out in pain from the impact Selket would be left helpless for whatever Vera had in mind next!

Vera quickly switched her grip on Selket into a gutwrench position as Vera quickly transitioned into lifting her Egyptian foe into the air once more, not intending to give her rival any wiggle room to escape as she lifted her up onto her shoulders in a powerbomb position, before dropping her rival straight onto her back to further hurt her spine!

Selket groaned in pain, her back in utter agony after the collision she just had with the mat from Vera's suplex. Worse yet she had no option to so much as move from where she was, let alone counter since Vera maintained her grip and practically flung Selket up onto her shoulders.

"GAHHHH!" Roaring in pain as she was sent crashing into the mat below Selket practically bounced off the mat from the impact before rolling over and holding her spine with a cringe of pain on her face, unable to do much of anything from the position she was in.

With Vera spiking her rival’s back into the floor with 2 moves, the Russian would fold her Egyptian rival into 2 to try and pin her to the floor, trying to win the match here and now!

”ONE!”

[Bare]

"TWO!!"

'Dammit!' Selket knew before she was even folded up that Vera was going for a pinfall, but it was so hard to do anything about it, the pain in her back was so extreme. But she couldn't let this be the end, she refused to bow to someone lesser than her! "GRAHHHH!"

"THR- BREAK!"

Releasing a roar of effort Selket managed to throw her legs out with all the strength she could muster, kicking out from Vera's pinfall attempt right in the knick of time!

Selket broke the pin right in the nick of time…but Vera smiled instead. She knew that her rival was almost done. She picked her up by her hair, forcing her to stand, before pikcing her up, and turning her upside down:

”Night night!”, Vera would say, getting ready to finish the Egyptian off with her Sapphire Waterfall - Emerald Flowsion!

Selket panted tiredly after managing to kick out, barely in time to avoid a loss at the hands of her foe. 'Damn it... I need to do something!' Selket thought to herself before wincing in pain as her hair was grabbed and she was pulled up to her feet against her will, left to glare at Vera before she was suddenly lifted up! 'I... don't think so!' Selket thought, knowing this must have been set up for an especially dangerous move.

So rather than allow herself to be slamme once again Selket would push her legs down, placing her hands on Vera's body to push herself up and and up, until she floated over Vera's body to try and land safely back on her feet behind Vera! If successful Selket would snap her arms up, trying to wrap them around the woman's neck to try and catch her in a sleeper hold!

”Stop…wriggling…so mu—No!”, Vera let out, but wouldn’t be able to turn to her foe in time, as she escaped her finishing manuever right in the nick of time, before wrapping her arms around Vera’s head for a Sleeper Hold!

Vera grunted and groaned as the Egyptian dug her arms into sides of Vera’s neck, the blunette weakening to the point of lose strength to stand up straight, dropping to a seat as she kept trying to release her rival’s hold…
