Tonight was the night!

With not even a week having passed following her contract signing, the Pride of Sicily was to make her stunning debut before the masses. Whilst Maria would have smiled at the prospect of an amateur wrestling bout - one she felt she could have effectively shown off in, given her skill - Maria knew the rarity of the match type. Fans came for professional wrestling specifically, after all. Not that she complained, given she knew the obvious when she had signed. A standard match would do just fine.

Great, in fact!

With the arena speakers blaring as her graphics came to life, audiences both live and at home would be in awe as the Sicilian beauty made her appearance.

With the body of a goddess, attire that didn't leave much to be imagined, and her hair in her signature wild style, Maria was already leaving an image of her firmly in the minds of those watching. And she hadn't even begun to wrestle yet.

Smiles galore as she came down the ramp, a quick step to the side of the ring before a lively hop over the ropes would see the tall beauty standing centre of the ring. Raising one leg and then the other, those behind Maria would be treated to quite the sight as she stretched from one side and then back. Working every limb she had quickly and intensely, Maria was intending to start this encounter as warmed up as she could be, as she set her eyes to the ramp to bare witness to the woman who'd be greeting her with her first wrestling match in LAW!

Callie May

This was a weird experience for Callie. Just a little while ago, she made her debut for LAW. And now, she was going to be the debut opponent of Maria. Something she was very excited about, as she was hoping to give the rookie a warm welcome. Praticing some shadow kickboxing, Callie was working herself into a sweat. Nobody took fights more seriously then her. It was time for Callie to make her entrance

The music started playing, as the lights turned dim, with a spotlight on the stage as Callie came into view. She did a shadow kickboxing routine and then bowed, being cheered by the crowd. Spotlight following her down the stage, Callie slapped hands with as many fans as she could, before walking onto the steel steps, and then under the top rope.

Callie then headed to the center of the ring, and did another shadow kickboxing routine before bowing to more cheers and then heading to her corner.

"Hello, Maria. It's nice to meet you. Hope we have a great fight." Callie said as she bowed to her opponent .

Maria didn't offer a verbal response as her foe offered a greeting, but she gave a friendly reply all the same. Hands to her side with a smile to her face, she would bow down to the point where her face was parallel to the canvas, before she stood straight. Eyes back to Callie's frame, it wouldn't take long for Maria to figure the two were in the same boat at least fighting-wise. Not that she was a genius for figuring such a thing out, given her smaller foe hardly hid her nature what with her lively strikes into the air!

Eyes to the referee whom gave the signal to both, Maria's hands finally left her side to stretch out infront of her. With an open grip offered by both hands, Maria would see about the ringing of the bell with a single step forward, before she began to circle with her foe. Keeping cautious as not to have her very first moment in LAW beset by a failure, Maria was happy to start things with a atypical collar and elbow tie-up as she closed in.

Or failing that, she'd look to make Callie come to her, as not to be left charging out into the open against a foe she didn't know.

Callie looked to approach her much bigger opponent head on. For her, the optimal mindset was don't think, feel. It was better to let her instincts guide her to a victory, especially when taking on her opponent. She let Maria circle her, waiting to see.

The two tied up in a Collar and Elbow Tie Up, Callie clearly felt Maria's overpowering strength. So without hesitation, Callie attempted to round kick Maria on the side of her knee.

Height, general stature and that build of hers were most certainly on Maria's side as she heaved into the notably shorter Callie. Though she was rarely one to grow overconfident of herself, as she prepared at any moment to shift back in the event Callie opted for a pull instead of a push.

Though said pull never came, as instead Callie looked to take the base out from underneath the taller fighter. With a clean shot to her knee!

The leg that was struck would outright buckle for less than a second, but against Callie's show of force it was akin to the entirety of a wall falling down. Falling to that knee given Callie no doubt sought to heave into her what with a now considerably weakened base, Maria was left as the slightly shorter one as she heaved back into her foe. Despite the fact she was reduced to one leg!

Callie could detect that she weakened Maria, and that Maria wasn't expecting that much sting from the martial artist turned professional wrestler Callie May. She knew she had to keep working on wearing down Maria.

"THE BIGGER THEY ARE, THE HARDER THEY FALL! KYAAH!" Callie yelled before her next attack.

It was time for a Roundhouse Kick right to the side of the head of Maria.

Callie had seized the advantage, something she wanted to make apparent to all including Maria with a loud call!

Releasing her clinch with the taller woman to gain distance and wind-up for her intended roundhouse, Maria herself would spring into action with a tactile dodge!

Simply lowering her head and torso to ensure that kick found nothing but air, Maria wouldn't simply stop with a tilting of her upper body. For in the same motion she herself would spin - kicking out the leg that was previously forced down to a knee, for a swift sweep straight into the unbalanced Callie's thighs!

To bring the smaller gal down outright!

Callie launched a wild roundhouse kick, hoping to hit Maria right in the side of the head, knowing that her kick could do some serious damage if it connects.

"WOAH!" Callie said as she missed with the Roundhouse kick, knocking herself off balance. She panicked, not expecting Maria to dodge like that.

And then she was slept right off her legs, landing flat on her back. Callie grimaced as her back hit the canvas, now prone to an attack.

It was something of a professional martial arts bout transpiring before the LAW fans this evening, with Callie trying to end it all with a headshot prior to being struck by the low-moving Maria. Spinning off the momentum as her sweeping leg came back to her, Maria would have her back to the prone Callie as she stood straight. Turning her head as to make sure that her foe was flat enough, Maria would bring her hands to her hips before she'd bend into a squat. Whilst she certainly had a tall frame, taller than many within LAW and certainly Callie herself, Maria was not above the occasional acrobatic manoeuvre.

Something she'd hope to make apparent, as she'd look to kick off her feet to bring her body up and back. For a standing moonsault! One delivered with the intent to drive down her muscular midriff into Callie's own, to get all of the air right out of her smaller foes lungs!

Callie was stunned from being swept up by Maria. It caught her completely off guard, typically fighters as tall as Maria don not aim low. Callie's brain could not compute this as her back hit the mat with a thud. Callie would have to fight from underneath right now.

And then before she could react, Callie was crushed by Maria performing a Standing Moonsault. "GAH!" She yelled as the air left her lungs and she lied completely limp on the mat.

How could someone so big be so agile? So many things about this match were not computing with Callie's not so smart brain.
