Hot Topic's Hot Debut: Phoebe Duclair (D) Vs. Chris Yukine

Phoebe had a smug smile on her face, knowing she had outsmarted Chris with the Lariat. Compared to other wrestlers, Phoebe wasn't a one trick pony, and looked to continue her offense.

Phoebe went behind Chris, and forced her to a seated position, and then wrapped her arm around Chris's chin, locking in a Seated Chinlock, hoping to wear down her opponent and work on her head.

Phoebe was definitely good, Chris had to admit. The rocker had been happy to be in a match, and even if the match was still in the early stages her excitement was only growing. Forced up and locked in a chinlock, Chris' smile faltered finally. She couldn't just keep focusing on her enjoyment. She couldn't if she wanted to win. And the first step for that would be to get out of this hold.

"Not bad," she strained out, one hand pulling at Phoebe's arm as she seemed to try and pull it away. She wasn't the strongest physically, so it wouldn't work of course. But hopefully it would make the debutee not think of the snow haired girl's true escape plan. "But not... good..." Her opposite hand quickly struck, aiming to rake Phoebe across the eyes and get her to let go. "Enough!" Chris would cry if she was successful, pulling away from Phoebe and trying to put a bit of distance between the them. She didn't want to risk the ravenette trying something else, and Chris could use the time to try and come up with a new plan of attack.

Phoebe wasn't looking for a tap out right now on Chris Yukine. That would be stupid. Chris was not one of those girls she could beat in less then a minute, she already showed that. Phoebe was simply looking to wear Chris down. A tired opponent would be much easier to take down.

"I wouldn't be complimenting your opponent in a time like thi... AAGH!" Phoebe tried to respond to Chris, before she was raked in the eye by the rocker. Ugh, that cheater. She had to use a dirty tactic to get out.

Phoebe rubbed her eye from the eye rake, and slowly lost all respect for Chris Yukine, now knowing that she was indeed a dirty cheater, something that Phoebe herself had no time for.

Chris wasn't a too big fan of cheating. While it could the crowd cheering when she used a little cheap trick, like it had here, the rock star preferred leaning more towards a face than a heel. She only resorted to a rake because her other options seemed less successful to her. Hopefully Phoebe wouldn't think too poorly of her for it.

But she couldn't think on it too much. There was a match to win, after all. While the debutee was still dealing with the eye rake, the snow-haired girl would try to take advantage. She'd run right at the brunette, leaping at the last minute and attempting to hit an enzugiri in the side of her head. She wanted to get her down on the ground again and get some momentum back.

So this is how Chris was going to fight, via cheating and eye raking. Phoebe stepped back from Chris, trying to care for her eye that had been damaged by Chris. "DAMMIT!" She cursed as she was upset at herself for falling for that trick. She was certain to make Chris Yukine pay for that. As soon as she could get her vision back, she will make Chris suffer.

Because she was paying so much attention to her eye however, Phoebe did not even pay attention to whatever Chris was planning to do next. And needless to say, it was gonna bite her in the ass.

"AAGH!" Phoebe grunted as she collapsed on her side to the mat, holding the side of her head after getting hit with that vicious enzuguri from Chris Yukine. Now she was sneak attacking Phoebe and Phoebe had lost all respect for Chris.

Someone was gonna pay once she got up.

Phoebe could have whatever opinion she wanted. Chris didn't really care too much. All that mattered was the crowd's reactions. Like her guitar, she played them however she could to get that resounding cheers from them. A fact she further proved as she shot a set of devil horns into the air and a roar erupted from the crowd. "Wasshoi!" She exclaimed running to the nearest corner and climbing up to the top. "Let's keep up this great show for them, Phoebe!" The rocker pointed a finger gun at the downed brunette, making sure her shot was nice and lined up.

Once she was ready, the snow haired woman would leap from the top rope, backflipping through the air as her body flew towards her target. If it went through, she'd land a beautiful shooting star press right down onto Phoebe's torso. Nothing was ever as exhilarating to her fans, watching the hard rocker fly through the sky before crashing down on her opponents. They'd cheer as she soared through the air, and would continue doing so even if Chris hit or missed.

That was what Chris lived for. Why she enjoyed her career as both a rock star and a wrestler. The cheers from fans who enjoyed when she put her all into her performances. How Phoebe felt about her was secondary to the fans' enjoyment.

Phoebe learned that Chris Yukine was indeed a dirty cheater as she felt, sneak attacking her like that. The goth girl vowed to make the rockstar pay inside her mind. But as of right now, Phoebe needed to recover from the enzuguri that hit her head extremely hard. She was almost at the point of getting her bell rung this early on.

Luckily, due to Chris' showing antics, it gave Phoebe plenty of time to recover as she could hear Chris screaming from over in the corner, and knew exactly what she was about to do.

As soon as she could, Phoebe lifted her knees up, hoping to cause Chris pain from landing on her knees and stopping her momentum. And after that, she can start paying back Chris.

Whether Chris was playing the crowd a touch too much was debatable. Maybe it was getting back in the ring after she took some time off to make sure her sis was recovering well enough, the rock performer in her letting loose after a long time. Maybe it was trying to show Phoebe how wrong her initial impression was. The snow haired highflyer didn't want to give it too much thought as she soon was in the air and aimed to splash down on the goth.

However it seemed her opponent had recovered and had her knees bent and waiting for the rocker. Since she was already in the air all Chris could do was brace herself as she landed right into the hard bone."Gkk.. Kono yaro..." She wheezed out after bouncing off Phoebe and onto the mat. She was winded and stunned from the counter, unable to stop whatever vengeance the goth had in store.

Anyone that took that long playing up to the ground deserves a harsh counter like what Phoebe gave to Chris. After Chris bounced off her knees, Phoebe had a smug smile on her face, it was time to get back at Chris from all the earlier punishment the goth had suffered.

Phoebe slowly got up to her feet, and walked over to the downed Chris Yukine. "Now I'm really gonna make you pay!" [/color] Phoebe said, cackling a little as she delivered her line. She had no time for cheaters like Chris, and would be sure to make her pay.

And she would start by dropping a knee straight into Chris' midsection, hoping to make the rocker and all her fans suffer.

Maybe Chris had tried to hype the crowd a touch too long, she would admit. She'd been a bit too overzealous to be back in the ring, and landing right onto the easily predictable knees the goth had prepared for her. The rocker was definitely cursing herself under her breath as she landed on her back. When she was back on offense, she'd definitely need to reign that in.

First, however, she'd have to deal with the debutee's planned punishment, starting with a dropped knee right into her still aching gut. A grunt accompanied the strike, winding the rocker. She'd put a hand over the area soon after and glare up at Phoebe, since that was all she could do for the moment. Much as she hated it, Phoebe was in control for now. All she could do was wait for a chance to reverse the tables.
