Sharon Donnery vs. Helen Andronike - Divine Wrath

Cornered at the turnbuckle, Sharon was unable to protect herself as she took two vicious chops right to her chest. "AAH!! GAHH!!" She cried out as she took those hits. And then, Helen went to put her into a headlock before she pulled her away from the corner. Sharon had no other choice but to follow the motion, unable to resist.

Pulled away from the corner, Sharon was pulled by Helen who then brought her face down onto the mat with a running bulldog! "UAGHHH!!" She cried out as her face hit the mat. She slumped against the canvas, clutching her face and groaning in pain. Things didn't look too good for Sharon at the moment, it seemed.

Helen saw an opportunity and decided to take it. Sharon was prone and stunned from the bulldog Helen just took. Her back was exposed and vulnerable. Helen pounced onto Sharon's back and wrapped her right arm around Sharon's neck, attempting to lock in a chokehold and put Sharon's lights out. "It'll all be over soon," Helen whispered into her ear.

Still reeling from the bulldog from Helen, Sharon was exposed to whatever Helen would do next, and Helen decided to put her into a chokehold, wrapping her arm around her neck from behind. Sharon gasped out in pain as her airway was constricted by her opponent's arm, and she struggled to break free as she tried to endure the hold, though even if she managed to break free, she would be left weakened by it.

Helen held on for dear life as Sharon struggled to break free. She unfortunately had not secured a bodyscissors, so it wasn't the quick finish she had hoped for. Helen held on, squeezing Sharon's neck with all her might. "Give up!" she whispered into her ear. Helen felt her opponent fading and soon Sharon slumped against her. The ref lifted Sharon's arm and let go. It dropped limp to her side.

ONE!
Again. The crowd was on their feet.
TWO!
The ref lifted Sharon's arm a third time and let go...

Despite her best effort, Sharon was getting weaker and weaker, and eventually, she slumped as she remained trapped in the hold. The referee checked on her whether she still could continue the match or not. The referee lifted Sharon's arm once. It fell down onto the mat. The referee did it for the second time. Also the same.

But when the referee did it for the third time, when her arm was released, Sharon stopped her arm from flopping down onto the mat, indicating that she was still conscious, albeit barely. In her effort to break free, Sharon would try to hit Helen in her face by throwing her fist at her in order to break free from the sleeper hold.

Helen thought she had it won, but Sharon was still in it. The crowd was on its feet. Helen noticed Sharon clenching her fist and was helpless to block Sharon's blow to her face. It landed square on her nose, causing Helen to cry out in pain. Helen was not used to getting hit in the face, so she recoiled from Sharon's punch and let go of the sleeper hold to recover. Unfortunately, it meant Sharon had an opening now.

Having to resort to such brute tactic like punching her opponent's face was pretty distasteful for Sharon, but in her desperation, she had to resort to it in order to prevent herself from losing. Now freed from the sleeper hold, Sharon turned around and looked at Helen before she grabbed her by her head, looking to put her into a front facelock.

Not only that, she would also fall backwards and pull Helen with her as she would wrap her legs around her midsection from the front, looking to put her into a guillotine choke, in addition to the body scissor where she would squeeze her midsection. Hopefully, she would be able to weaken her even if she couldn't get her to submit.

Helen could only grunt as Sharon squeezed both her torso and her neck. She used her strong legs to keep herself from falling over. However the Greek had been in this situation several times before and usually a guillotine choke didn't end well for her. Helen knew she had to get out of it. She couldn't see very well and her vision was blurring. She turned herself and finally caught sight of a corner. Helen then decided to charge into the corner, hoping to ram Sharon's back into it and dislodge her.

Sharon was so busy trying to weaken Helen with her guillotine choke that she didn't consider the fact that her opponent might try something that could hurt her while she was at it. When Helen came charging towards the corner with her, Sharon was unable to react to it in time, and as a result, she took the brunt of the impact as her back hit the turnbuckle!

"AAGHHHHH!!!"

Thanks to the impact, Sharon let go of Helen's head, and she fell down onto the mat, gasping in pain as she brought her hand onto her hurting back. She gritted her teeth, trying to regain her bearing and composure, but the pain had left her unable to protect herself against whatever Helen might do to her next.

Seeing that she was vulnerable sitting against the corner, Helen delivered a series of kicks to Sharon's stomach. She then grabbed her by the hair and pulled her to her knees. Helen wrapped her arms around Sharon's torso and pulled her in close between her legs. She would then try to hoist her up, turn around, and deliver a snap powerbomb.
