Emily Moore vs. Roxanne "Roxy" Thompson Match: Standard Victory Conditions: Pinfall, Submission, Knockout, Disqualification and/or Count Out Roxanne "Roxy" Thompson, Ring Outfit
Roxy had been like a caged animal. Okay that wasn't perhaps super accurate, but the newcomer heavyweight seemed to be a bit on edge in the locker room as the time drew closer and closer to her debut. Was she nervous? No, the correct answer was she was getting a bit anxious. Rocking with a pair of headphones as she listened to "Breaking the Law" as she wanted so badly to get into the ring. This was her chance to make a first impression as a pro, and before this night was done she was gonna show everyone at L.A.W. what she had been all about.
She looked up at the clock and knew the time had come, she set her headphones aside and moved to the gorilla position. Rebel Girl by Bikini Kill
Roxy's theme sounded as the fans in the stadium turned to the entrance way, they had no idea what to expect with this new debuting girl but were curious all the same. Soon enough a woman in all black with a slightly toned physique and somewhat of a cold stare came out to the tune and one thing was clear. While the young woman had a bit of a muted reaction, as expected of a girl making her first ever pro debut, she did have this certain aura about her that was undeniable. She walked down the entrance way with this unshakable confidence and with a look in her eyes that seemed to suggest she would not be denied.
She stepped into the ring stepping with a firm stomp by the steps and moved right to the middle of the ring, she gazed with an intense look behind her mouth mask as her eyes told a story; she desired to make a statement, and as she flashed a number 1 sign in the air right in the middle of the ring she seemed fully confident in her chances, as she moved to the corner and the rebel waited for whoever was scheduled to be her first matchup at L.A.W.
Emily was ready once again, her chance to fight and give her Opponent a good fight, so then when she was told it was her time, Emily would take her mask once again, placing it on and moving across the Arena, greeting everyone and finally stepping into the ring, seeing her opponent and with a Maid's salute bowing, she would bring her hand forward for a nice handshake. As her opponent made her entrance, Roxy had to raise an eyebrow as the curiously dressed woman made her entrance. A cute little maid outfit seemed contrasted by the rather scary mask she had worn which made her a bit of an enigma. Not that it mattered too much to Roxy as she seemed not intimidated though when Emily tried to show good sportsmanship and offer a hand, Roxy took one look at the gesture and just knocked the hand aside. If she wanted her handshake, she'd need to earn her respect first as she came here to win not make friends.
Course, this got some boos from the crowd who took offense to the sign of disrespect, and the boos only grew when Roxy passed a causal middle finger their way as she removed focused on her opponent as the referee looked between the two women and soon called for the bell.
"Begin!"
Roxy naturally shifted to a grappling stance; knees bent with her arms extended out, a position that naturally seemed to invite a lockup as she wanted to test her power against her opponent and size up her strength.
Emily clearly realized that this fight would not be an easy one, mainly because her opponent did not want her around, so when the bell rang and the match started, Emily would see her opponent take a stance that is normally used in duels of strength, so she, knowing better, would position herself and try to interlock hands with Roxy, hoping to be with her in the duel of strength.
Roxy took a note that her opponent seemed to be going for a Test of Strength vs. a grapple lockup, which was just fine with her. Roxy was not the tallest heavyweight on the roster but if there was one thing she trusted, it was her power. So she locked her hands with Emily's own and began to push once both were secure trying to establish leverage early.
Emily as she interlaced her fingers with Roxy's, she could feel the strength of her opponent pass through her, as if Emily could sense that she was already in trouble, but the mask only showed a smile, and so when Roxy started to push, Emily would do the same pushing as hard as possible.... now she knew that losing this duel would only be the beginning of Roxy's opportunities to weaken her.
Roxy quickly learned this woman was no push over either, she had some power and as she pushed back Roxy was met with resistance, however, the silver haired woman but that only fueled the newcomer's resolve. She worked to firmly plant her boots on the ground and tried to dig deep to establish a form base as she applied more pressure to the push, hoping to combat the force of Emily's own efforts.
Emily could feel how Roxy took efforts in positioning herself and giving Emily a firm base to push against her, but Emily wouldn't be a servant/bodyguard if she wasn't someone with an idea of how to take care of herself from various kinds of attacks, so when she pushed, Emily wouldn't give in, she was willing to play this game of attrition..... And win it
Roxy of course had an intense gaze in her eyes as she managed to gain slight leverage, but Emily managed to hold her own. She seemed to be pretty strong in her own right, and while Roxy desired to overwhelm her she was able to figure this exchange was a waste of energy. So Roxy as she pushed raised her knee of and aimed to slam it right into Emily's exposed gut!
Emily pushed and rested all Roxy attack, showing that she was a hard rock, but when I suddenly hit his stomach, Emily Flood, that blow took her by surprise and his body felt it, weakening a little and giving a lead to Roxy
