Meeting in Shadows (For Arjuna)

Teuila had been slammed and that had hurt, but she was far from done. If there was one thing Teuila was, it was tough, and she wouldn't allow such a thing to keep her down. All she needed was a way to target Dana and keep her on her toes, trying to find some form of offense she can get in against her. So Teuila tried to be clever, attempting to trick Dana with a feint and bring the woman down with a baseball slide.

But Dana was too smart for such a thing and before Teuila could do even make impact Dana moved out of the way before delivering a hip bump to her! "Ugh!" She grunte dout in pain, being forced to roll away from the older woman while holding the side of her face, and looking up to keep an eye on Dana. "Grr, I'm not done yet!" Teuila shouted with defiance written all over her face as she got back up and began circling Dana once more.

Hitting Teuila with a hip attack, Dana then looked at Teuila who distanced herself from her. "Fufu~ of course you're not. Let me see more from you, dear." Seeing Teuila circling her, Dana decided to take the initiative, charging towards her with her arm extended. She was looking to hit Teuila with a lariat.

While Teuila might be her protégé, Dana wasn't going to hold back. The strength of her lariat was tremendous, and the sheer force should be enough to send a woman flipping in the air upon contact.

Teuila rolled up ot her feet immediately following the hip attack and would turn almost right away towards her mentor. Against such a vastly more experienced opponent the Samoan girl knew she couldn't afford even a moment of being careless.

So when she saw Dana coming in towards her, arm raised into the air for what would no doubt be a insanely powerful clothesline Teuila knew just what to do. Waiting until the last moment when the woman would be upon her Teuila would turn to the side sharply, using her legs to catch Dana and hopefully, bring the woman down to the mat with a drop toe hold!

Dana tried to hit Teuila with a lariat, but the younger woman managed to move out of her way, avoiding the lariat before she went to use a drop toe hold on Dana. Eyes widening, Dana ended up falling down, chest first, onto the mat.

"UGHH!!"

In addition to the pain, Dana was also curious about what Teuila would do next. So, for the time being, even as she groaned in pain, with her face down on the mat, she was waiting to see what Teuila would try after this.

Teuila had finally, for the first time of the match managed to drop Dana ot the mat, thus creating the perfect opportunity to move forward. 'Time to show off what Camie's training did for me!' Teuila thought to herself with a grin.

Leaping up she would drop her foot into the back of Dana's knee! If successful than Teuila would bend down, grabbing onto Dana's legs and crossing them over her own. If successful than Teuila would pull her free leg up and brace it against Dana's own, intending to lock in a Indian deathlock on her mentor!

Taken down to the mat by Teuila's drop toe hold, Dana was in a precarious spot where her protégé then proceeded to put her into a hold, specifically an Indian deathlock! "UNGHHH!!" Dana groaned as she was being subjected to the hold, but she had been in this industry far longer than Teuila being alive, so she would come up with a solution to this problem immediately.

Her solution was to press her own palms against the mat before attempting to lift herself up. Then, she would try to throw herself to the side, looking to make Teuila lose her grip on her, thus releasing her from the Indian deathlock. Though she also thought that her protégé might have something else up her sleeves after this, and as her teacher, she would like to see more what she would do next.

Teuila had done it! She successfully managed to trap Dana in a submission hold after dropping her! 'Man the other students are gonna be SO jealous!' Teuila thought to herself with a smile as she cranked and twisted the hold, knowing that if nothing else this would be a highlight moment for her.

Dana however was far too good to be beaten by such a move and with her superior strength moved to force herself and Teuila over, breaking her submission hold in the process. 'Crap!' Teuila thought to herself as the hold was broken, now laying on her back by Dana's legs. 'Lets see how you like this!' The brunette thought to herself as she pulled her legs back and kicked them out, kipping up in a effort to land feet first on Dana's stomach in the process!

Forcing her way out of the hold with brute strength, Dana managed to break through. Dana's feat of strength was something that many knew about her, so it shouldn't be no surprise for her to successfully escape the hold.

Realizing what her opponent was about to do, Dana would roll herself over, narrowly avoiding Teuila's feet after the younger woman kipped up from her downed position. From there, Dana would push herself up, getting on all four first before getting herself back onto her feet.

"Well, I could do that when I was young..." Dana said, referring to the kip up. "But I'm an old lady now, so pulling that off could potentially embarrass me." Dana said in a joking manner as she would get ready for her next clash with her protégé.

Kipping up to her feet Teuila had planned to keep up with her offense on Dana, trying to keep the woman winded and down on the mat for as long as possible. The older woman was a major power player, so even with her greater experience keeping things on the mat was the best route for Teuila and she knew it.

But things didn't quite go as planned. Landing feet first on the mat Teuila nearly stumbled forward due to not expecting the flat surface over the soft uneven one of Dana that she had expected.

Quickly turning to get her eyes back on Dana the Samoan girl would tsk softly seeing the older woman already back to her feet. 'Well dang.' She thought before smiling softly at the joke from Dana, deciding to at least play along for now. "Heh, I'm sure you could do it if you tried ma'am." Teuila said, deciding to circle Dana, deciding to counter whatever Dana would try next as opposed to being the instigator again.

Dana chuckled. "Now, now... there's no need to tease an old gal like me, dear." Readying herself for another clash with her protégé, she carefully observed Teuila's figure as she tried to predict what she would do next.

Seeing that Teuila was waiting for her to make her move, Dana rushed in, seemingly trying to come to her front, but as she drew closer, she would suddenly slip past the younger woman and grab her by her wrist.

From there, Dana would get herself behind Teuila and start giving that wrist a twist. A wrist lock might be a simple move, but it could be quite painful and it could be transitioned into many other holds if she so desired.
