Having made the vital decision just in time, her sturdy knees would repel Aarna's aerial attack. After just one large breath, Dawn was able to sit once again. She decided to make smalltalk with the groveling woman. "Why of course it does! Hmmm" Stating the obvious in regards to her painful counter, but found herself surprised by Aarna's sudden will to continue.
"If it does hurt as you say...then why aren't you resting at all?" Perhaps her opponent was blinded by rage to care. No matter since Dawn looked eager to play these games. Just as she was slowly raised to a crouch position, the blonde suddenly grasped a hold of Aarna's wrist. If that managed to quell the fire slightly, Dawn would try to twist behind her opponent still maintaining that firm grasp for an armbar. Then the moonchild tried to strike her opponent's back with just a single foot, bringing them back down but with a submission applied.

Re: Inner Mindfulness- Dawn Wilder vs Aarna Mehta
Aarna was about ready to act before Dawn spoke. Wrinkling her brow, she looked confused. "I can't rest because we're in a ma--Oh!" Her response was cut off by Dawn grabbing hold of her arm that was still flexing to ease the pain in her back. And now, her arm was grabbed in an arm bar, and a boot to her back followed. "Oof!" she exhaled, now on her front, arm being bent.
And Mehta was now at a disadvantage, groaning as she slowly got to her hand and knees. "I'll rest... when this match is done!" shouted the Transcendent, waiting a moment before barreling forward in a roll, reversing the grip Dawn had on her arm, then locked on an armbar of her own. She was playing catch up, something she normally hated, but she knew she could go multiple places from here. She would then grab hold of Wilder and lift her up with her before attempting to throw her back in a hip toss, hoping to put her right back down on the mat!

Re: Inner Mindfulness- Dawn Wilder vs Aarna Mehta
Resting wasn't exactly quitting and instead a means to seek balance. Already transitioning into a hold as Aarna expressed her confusion, she successfully managed to neutralise her foe temporarily, adding more tensions towards the restrained arm. While this exchange took place, Dawn attempted to regain the high ground by slowly returning to her feet.
However her opponent's tenacity made this rodeo all the more tedious. "Ahhhh!" Thanks to just one death roll, there would be a literal change of hands with Aarna now applying the submission instead. "Grrrr..." The strain forced the blonde to shiver, realising this would definitely be a game of cat and mouse in the reversal department. As soon as there was a slight turn while near arms were hooked together, Dawn's remaining appendage darted towards Aarna's lower biceps. If the Indian woman didn't power out and proceed with the hip toss, Dawn would aim to twist their bodies around so they were kneeling back to back. Hoping to exploit the confusion, she tried to bow forward so the stressed woman could drop onto the mat folded up in a sudden backslide pin.

Re: Inner Mindfulness- Dawn Wilder vs Aarna Mehta
Aarna was feeling fresh as she held in that armbar. She was ready to throw Dawn right back down when she felt her arm get caught, and soon Mehta found herself falling back onto her shoulders! "Ah!" she yelped, letting out a worried whine.
ONE!
The Transcendent managed to throw herself back, rolling out of the pin early, cursing herself for being caught, but wanting to take it right back to Wilder. She would then leap from her crouched position, throwing her legs directly towards Dawn's chest as she would rise up, hoping to hit a big front dropkick to her blonde adversary!

Re: Inner Mindfulness- Dawn Wilder vs Aarna Mehta
Not making an outburst despite the pressure on her arm worked in Dawn's favour as she managed to slip past Aarna's guard and reverse into a sudden pinfall. She prayed that the element of surprise would entirely in her favour, only for just a mere single count.
No matter there were still a lot of time to show her fangs. In the process of returning towards a crouched stance, Dawn decided to put her guard up for security purposes. Trusting her instincts turned out to be favourable as a flying projectile collided into the blonde once more. Only expressing a moderate hum at best, Dawn flew across the ring until her back was lying against the ropes. "Interesting..." Keeping an upright posture and calm composure despite the slight visible bruises. She kept both pupils fixated on whatever Aarna planned next, plotting to duck down at any signs of movement.

Re: Inner Mindfulness- Dawn Wilder vs Aarna Mehta
Aarna had managed to plant both of her boots into Dawn Wilder's chest and fell back. Taking a moment to breathe in deep and get herself ready, she would then kip up and stare at her opponent, who had ended up laying against the ropes. Pointing at Dawn, she knew she had to follow up and figured she had a good advantage here to keep up her offense. "Alright!" shouted the Indian girl, hyping herself up.
Her plan continued with keeping Dawn grounded, making sure that she was in control here. And a well-placed knee could do just that. Seeing her prone opponent there, the Transcendent began charging directly at Wilder, going for a big knee strike. However, Dawn was ready in wait and she let out a quick gasp when she whiffed and fell directly onto the middle rope, smashing her chest as her arms hung over it. Apparently Dawn wasn't in as worse of a spot that Aarna had thought. The ropes had stung and she needed a moment to recover from that much, not even able to push off of them quite yet.

Re: Inner Mindfulness- Dawn Wilder vs Aarna Mehta
From Dawn's perspectives, the ring ropes were perfectly horizontal vines. The dropkick only forced her release a single puff of air, leaving her ready enough to counter whatever Aarna had to show. Keeping a poker face as the opposition charged towards her, a second before impact she proceeded to drop like a flounder. This tactic paid off as she forced her opponent into a temporary bind.
She already figured out her means off attack while quickly peeling herself off the ground. As soon as Dawn was on two feet once more, she sped off towards the other edge of the ring, gaining a rebound from the ropes. Accompanied by this boost in the velocity, she returned to where Aarna hopefully apparently laid down. Aiming to help the Indian woman free herself, Dawn leapt in between the higher ropes while she grasped the town, allowing her to swing back towards the ring with even more momentum. Provided her opponent was too overcome by shock, the moonchild prepared to inflict a sharp tiger feint kick to throw Aarna back to the centre!

Re: Inner Mindfulness- Dawn Wilder vs Aarna Mehta
Aarna was stunned on the middle rope as she groaned out loud. Putting a hand to her chest where she had dropped, she was beginning to push herself off of the ropes before she was pegged directly in the face with a kick from Dawn! Mehta went flopping back and rolled over onto her back, holding her face. "Gaaaaah...!" yelled out the Indian girl, that kick stinging quite a bit and throwing her for a loop.
Mehta was kicking herself for miscalculating that one, and now she was paying the price. Clutching onto her head still, she grit her teeth and started to sit up, trying to shake her head clear as she hoped that her opponent would give her at least a little time to recover after that shot.

Re: Inner Mindfulness- Dawn Wilder vs Aarna Mehta
Using herself as the bait, she led Aarna into a tight snare. Afterwards the blonde proceed to slip slightly away from the branch and swing around in a perfect 180 arc. Proudly smiling as she sent her opponent flying through sheer momentum, somehow still holding herself up sideways for a brief period of time.
However this was just merely just a middling phase as Dawn lowered her body so she was standing on the apron once again. Desiring to make physical contact once again, the blonde proceeded to press her legs against the rope only to spring up into the air. Embracing this new height with spread arms, she aimed to deliver some significant damage to the laid Aarna's body through a springboard splash.

Re: Inner Mindfulness- Dawn Wilder vs Aarna Mehta
Aarna was struggling on the mat, holding her head with a groan. This wasn't where she wanted this match to go, especially after such a minor trip that ended up causing her so much damage. She was trying to formulate a plan, even through the pain. She just needed an opportunity to stop Dawn's momentum. Just a single opportunity to hit her and ground her.
As soon as Mehta felt good enough to get up, she was suddenly hit by the huge impact of her opponent's body weight! Dawn landed on the Indian girl hard with a springboard splash and Aarna's body bucked and thrashed under her briefly before going still as she held her midsection. Another chain attack off of a single trip that was keeping the Transcendent from coming back. As she tried to suck in breath, she hoped that she could find an opening here soon to give Wilder some pain back.
