Tara Kwan vs. Raquel Masters (Apex Qualifier Match)

Raquel saw Tara coming, leaping into the air. While Raquel was a 117lb lightweight she was lean with well defined muscle throughout her body. Raquel reached out and looked to grab hold.of the flying Tara lifting her up while using her momentum against her to turn her cross body attempt into a powerslam to the mat!

The size difference between the two didn't matter given how Raquel chose to respond - had Tara been considerably larger, her own momentum would have still carried her into Raquel's waiting arms. Unable to retort, not that she had a response even to mind, Tara could but yelp as she was pulled up and across Raquel's frame. With her own speed carrying her all the way around!

Roaring out as she hit the canvas, Raquel's torso flattening side-on into her own made the Korean groan all the more. She'd naturally look to raise a arm to not only push, but to stop a immediate attempt at a pinfall given how primed Raquel was for one!

Raquel felt Tara thrust upwards and Raquel didn't even think of going for a pin yet. The red head stood up and hauled Tara up wrapping an arm around her head. Raquel shot a hard knee strike into Tara before trying to move quickly to send her back to the mat with a snap suplex to keep softening Tara.

Defending against a pinfall attempt that never even came, Tara flapped her arms as she was brought about to her feet. Wheezing for a moment with her right arm coming up and around her back, there was little defence from the lithe bodied Korean as she was hooked around again. This time with intent from Raquel to hoist her up and over, rather than across!

Feet kicking all the way to naturally no avail, Tara was brought up as quickly as she was brought back down. Back growing all the redder, the Korean near enough pinged off the canvas with her body being left spread eagle thanks to Raquel's dastardly quick suplex.

Raquel had brought Tara down and managed to cause her some pain. The red head quickly bounced up standing near Tara as she tried to add to her woes with a fast standing moonsault! The lightweight hoped to crash down on top of Tara planning on going for a quick pin attempt to see how long it took Tara to kick out.

Tara was in agony and primed for what came next. That being a motion with flair from Raquel, as she took to kicking off her feet not to simply drop upon her. But twist in the air!

Where as Tara would have loved to have said she had pushed her knees up hard into the descending beauty, the aching Korean was far too slow to even raise them halfway. Struck fully with the weight of Raquel crashing down into her gut, Tara's body shot up like a closing book at both sides. Her hands and legs would briefly slap into Raquel either side of her from spasm, before she fell flat and primed for Raquel to pin.

Swinging in, the referee was able to fire off calls of one and two easily enough, only to find Tara's shoulder narrowly beating the three count. She was still in this match as she groaned out, but she was in a dire position to put it lightly!

Raquel felt Tara kick out and she shook her head as she stood up. Raquel pulled Tara up by the arm looking to try to keep piling on while she could.

The red head whipped Tara to the ropes and braced herself. Raquel's plan was to leap up and wrap her legs around Tara as she ran back attempting to hit her with a hurricanrana!

Raquel didn't stop her offensive, not when it became apparent that Tara still had a good deal of life in her. Forced up to her feet with her eyes nearly rolling for a moment, Tara was snapped back to reality by a harsh pull on her arms. Sent flying towards the ropes, it was now or never for Tara to force herself back into the match as she returned to Raquel with momentum to her frame. Needless to say, she had zero intent on following suite into whatever Raquel was planning!

Opting for a safer response over a flashier one, Tara looked to bring about a raising of her legs regardless of whatever way Raquel was going to go. Unless Raquel was opting to sweep low for a tackle of her legs - an unlikely motion on its own when Tara was sent running - a dropkick seemed like a perfect answer to whatever the gal had planned.

And damn if Tara wasn't right and then some!

For she would find Raquel kicking up her own legs in expectation of finding Tara's head. Only to instead be met with both of Tara's feet to her back, as the Korean reared up one leg and then the other to kick her out of the skies!

Raquel jumped up just in time to take a hard blow right to the abdomen! Raquel crumpled to the mat in a heap, struggling to breathe as she had the breath knocked right out of her!

Raquel writhed and flopped about having her momentum painfully halted by Tara's counter granting Tara the chance to go back on the attack.

Tara had taken control but she was not without ache. Pushing to her feet with her hands soothing her aching back, the Korean was opting for the first thing to mind. That being, to once more kick off her feet to sprint towards the ropes furthest Raquel!

With a simplistic approach to mind, Tara played it safe as she returned with her feet once more poised for a collision with Raquel. Only this time Tara had no intent on allowing her foe to rise - not even sit-up!

For Tara was hoping for something of a baseball slide kick clean into Raquel's side; a motion that might have sent her outright rolling out of the ring if Tara was so lucky!
