Meet and Greet

The two girls settled down beside each other. Courage's arm stayed wrapped around Ayame's waist. It was far more adventurous than she had ever intended to be... And now that it was there, she didn't want to let it go.

She was flustered... But Ayame hadn't rejected her. And that gave her some semblance of confidence. But what helped more, was the Akan scion's affirming language. She was having a good time. And she was making sure that Courage knew it. It made her belly tangled, but more importantly, her heart light.

Her expression softened into a smile and she let out a sigh. "It is great, isn't it?"

She turned to look upon Ayame and suddenly became aware of how dry her lips were. Her heart skipped a beat as she recalled her 'night' with Alizeh. And instinctually, she licked them. Oh gosh... Why was she thinking of that... Now? Who was she kidding... She knew why. It was because she was staring at Ayame's lips.

"I..." Her eyes quickly averted to Ayame's. "I do... Actually." She nodded slowly. "But... This is the first time I've done it -with- someone." She added.

"My career as an idol didn't allow me to spend time in a park alone with another person. Especially not with my arm around them." She laughed awkwardly.

"But... That's not a problem for Professional Wrestler... Is it?" Her mood lightened further as she said that. It was a question, but it was also a realization for her. And also served as a further explanation for why she was so awkward and bad at this!

She couldn't help but bite down on her bottom lip. Her heart raced. And Ayame could feel it as a consequence of how close they were sitting.

This night had a vibe about it. One Ayame couldn’t shake that left her confused but excited. She could feel Courage and her nervousness was so strong that Ayame thought her heart might beat out of her chest the way it seemed to be acting up when snuggled close to her. The obvious explanation for this was the one that Ayame ruled out first and soon Ayame had a reason she could add to why she didn’t think it possible. Courage had never actually done this before and her idol career meant she couldn’t be this friendly to people. The lifestyle was different from wrestling, less maintenance. She could never do that and she knew even people who put up with it had to feel strangled by it a little. This was just Courage learning to break out of her shell. Not a hot item interested in her. Not in the slightest. Ayame swallowed down a bit of her own nerves before she dared speak. “Im honored to be your first snuggle guest!” She laughed before she let that sink in keeping Courage close to make her feel right at home by her side. “This should never be a problem. So us wrestlers can feel right at home wrapped up next to each other. I’m glad you feel like you can trust me. Too many times I’m lumped in with certain members of my family and judged by how they act. Never made any sense to me.” Ayame found herself venting before she realized that maybe such a topic was t for this kind of get together. She didn’t need to bring up family troubles of her own when she was trying to make Courage not feel strangled by her own family.

Ayame's affirmative statement eased her nerves. It wasn't just confirming that it was okay. But that -Ayame- was okay with it. It made Courage feel welcomed and accepted and a little silly for being worried in the first place.

She let her head sink into the crook of Ayame's neck and pulled her a bit tighter, like a stuffed animal. It was indulgent and innocent. But she couldn't help the less than innocent stirrings it created within her. A mature need that was little more than a murmur at the moment... But even that seductive whisper was impossible to ignore entirely. It expressed itself by warming Courage's pale cheeks further. Darkening them to a shade of embarrassed scarlet.

"Oh- Um- Well..." She steadied herself as she listened to Ayame. Her words helped to distract from the tension in the pit of her stomach. It wasn't unpleasant, but it sure did make it hard to focus on anything else.

"I've found that people like to quickly file others away into the most convenient box they can find." She lifted her head so that she could look at Ayame directly. "But when I look at you." She paused to allow Ayame to turn to see her. To take in her warm, affectionate smile. "I don't see your family. Or whatever the league puts on their posters."

The arm around Ayame tightened and her fingers gave her side an encouraging squeeze. She caught her eyes in a show of sincerity. Her own, emerald eyes blazed bright with admiration, even through her glasses. "I see you, Ayame. Wonderful, beautiful you!"

Ayame did not talk too much about how she felt handicapped by her family name and reputation but she felt oddly trusting with Courage. Maybe it was her kindness which felt so natural you felt like you could confess your darkest secret and she wouldn’t tell anyone you didn’t want her to. Maybe it was because she felt she could relate because of the similar belief Courage voiced with her mother. It could have just been the fact that she felt so warm to sit next to because with Ayame that went a long way. Courage’s words came out slowly at first but spilled out faster once she found her footing and the grip around her tightened to make sure Ayame was staying close and looking at her. She spoke so much truth even though she was nervous, bringing up how much people judge so quickly with little else but how easy it is to do so. Ayame realized this was something she had done as well. Being an idol she must have to deal with that kind of judgement the moment she walked out of her house in the morning. Their eyes met near the end and because of that Ayame could feel the sincerity of every word, Courage was telling her this in complete confidence. They had only known each other for a few hours but she felt like she made a friend she could keep for years, one who understood her completely. The feeling was overwhelming and Ayame only had one thing she could do to give her gratitude, pulling Courage in tight for a hug. “Gee. I don’t get called wonderful ever.” She laughed unaware her face was warm and flushing when she she rubbed her head against Courage. A burning warmth of trust from how she felt with the girl after a short time knowing her.

Courage melted into Ayame's hug. Their bodies came together and shared their warmth with one another. Ayame was soft and firm at the same time. A woman whose strength and femininity was both undeniable. She closed her eyes and soaked it in. She nuzzled her face into the crook of Ayame's neck. The burning warmth of the other girl's cheeks sent satisfied shivers through her body. And the soft, satisfied sighs that resulted from it tickled against the sensitive skin of Ayame's neck in return.

"Mmmm. Maybe you just need to spend more time with me!" Her arms encircled her, adding an additional layer of security and comfort to the hug. And she squeezed her gently. Conforming their bodies to one another. And she held her there. She felt something stir inside of her... Something akin to what she'd felt with Alizeh. And her eyes opened. And she let her go.

Courage pulled back and looked at Ayame with her bottom lip between her teeth and her cheeks redder than a Valentine rose. She was thankful at that moment, for the dim mood lighting of the park after dark... She was terrified of other signs that might have given some of her less than pure thoughts away.

"How about beautiful? Do you have other girls that call you beautiful?" It came out more suggestive and invasive than she'd meant. But Courage, like her namesake, didn't waver as she looked into Ayame's eyes. Presenting something to the Akan scion that maybe neither girl had expected. A glossy, doe-eyed desire.

Ayame and Courage found some warmth between the two of them with the both of them wrapped each other for warmth. Not letting go after the mutual bouts of encouragement that only friends could provide. Ayame had never felt so confident in having a keeper when it came to people. Courage was everything you could look for in a friend and she was glad that they were both in LAW where they could help each other. Not just in wrestling but that’s where it could start. “Thats an invitation I’ll take.” She intended to spend way more time with Courage and almost felt sad she had to pull away. What didn’t make her sad was what Courage said, asking if she had been called beautiful before. While Courage thought otherwise it seemed like a simple question but the way she looked at her made Ayame’s chest flutter. She couldn’t look away and her voice got stuck in her throat before she could answer instead getting trapped in Courage’s looks that compelled Ayame to stare back. She felt her beating louder and faster and for some reason she was worried Courage could hear it even though that didn’t make sense. “They don’t. At least not when they mean it.”

Ayame didn't look away or pull away. Instead, Courage noticed that she looked deep into her eyes. And the idol was certain then, that she could feel her sincerity. That Ayama could hear things in her eyes that she couldn't possibly say with her voice.

"I..." She worried at her bottom lip. She drew in a deep breath in an attempt to center herself. To find the bravery that others had instilled in her. She'd been beaten and humiliated while wrestling. But this... This was somehow so much more daunting! But Courage refused to be scared. She exhaled, not only air but her fears.

"I think you're beautiful." Her hands squeezed Ayame gently. "And I mean it. With all my heart!" Her heart pounded in her chest like the engine of a locomotive. But the rhythmic beating didn't distract her... Not like it usually did. This time. It spurred her on. And pushed her towards her heart's desire. She licked her lips...

"And I was wondering... If you'd let me kiss you?"

“Ey?” Hold on. Of all the things anyone could have said that was not what Ayame had envisioned she’d be hearing. Ayame had listened to Courage feeling her hold her tight as she told her she thought she was beautiful. A sweet gesture that only added to the fire that was cooking in her chest. Studying confusing feelings she was unfamiliar with. She knew that Courage had a hard time saying that because she truly meant it and that was so amazing to hear that Ayame was going to wrap her up in another big hug before she said that. If the mixed feelings weren’t already messing with her she now felt Courage throw an inferno onto her fire. Kiss her? Kiss her where? Ayame felt this was too big of a request for some cheek kiss but she didn’t really want to kiss her right? Ayame didn’t even think she would do that? When even was her last kiss? It had been so long she was now wondering if she would mess it up. Wait why would she mess it up? Who was to say it was even happening? She could just say no. “You may.” You may? Why did she say that? Ayame’s mind and her body were doing two different things while she was debating if she should do that the rest of her was just going ahead with it. Moving closer to Courage and her eyes slowly closing. Only staying open long enough that Ayame could keep her eyes on those lips and make sure hers were heading right for it.

Courage's heartbeat was severe. Heavy pounding caused her to feel her pulse in her throat. Her cheeks were flushed bright pink and her head felt full of air. Her request, no... Her confession, had her feeling dizzy with anxiety and anticipation. She would have never done such a thing before becoming a Professional Wrestler. Before discovering herself. And especially not in public...

But now. She couldn't imagine -not- doing it. She watched Ayame's eyes as she waited for what felt like forever. She tried to read her mind through her pupils. And when she couldn't, she desperately willed Ayame to accept her with her own eyes. 'Please accept my feelings!' She thought with girlish naivete. And when Ayame spoke... her world shattered.

She gasped. And her heart dropped through her belly. Her eyes teared up and her hands grasped Ayame tightly... Before her quivering lips pulled into a sincere, relieved smile. "Mm!" She couldn't speak... So she made a soft sound of confirmation as she nodded her head. She closed her eyes then and they would stay shut, afraid that if she opened them the dream would end.

She felt Ayame draw near as their heat mingled. One hand moved to Ayame's back, to gently press its palm against her. It was meant to be stabilizing, but Ayame could feel Courage's trembling through it. She leaned forward and with a soft coo parted her lips. And pressed them against Ayame's. Her lips were soft and warm and full.

Her first kiss... Her first -real- kiss.

She fell into it. Lost in Ayame.

Ayame had kissed before and not just family. She remembered a few harmless ones with people she was seeing or trying to see before a number of reasons got in between them and she remembered her match with Aoki where Ayame did some things she didn’t know she had in her. Slow and intimate kisses like this were nonexistent in her life before now, this wasn’t some part of mild flirtation it was like she was being given everything from Courage through her lips. The way her friend held her Ayame could feel her body shaking like she needed to hold on or she’d lose her grip and fall through the floor so Ayame cupped her chin before she closed her eyes and embraced it fully. The way their lips met sent shivers down Ayame’s spine before she pressed for more starting off gentle but feeling like she wanted more with each passing second they remained liplocked. The burning sensation that ate at her chest returned and the heat traveled all over making Ayame press forward taking hold of Courage if it meant the joyous feeling continued or amplified.
