So, she tried another strategy: she would try to throw a low kick, aiming at Nanami's knee, then charge with an elbow blow on her face, and only then try to go on a hold or a throw.

Nanami escaped and was on her feet once more as she saw Joyce analyse the situation. The dark-skinned girl waited for Joyce's attack when a kick to the knee rocked her balance. Joyce likely thought that Nanami would simply try recovering her balance but instead Nanami threw a hook of her own to trade with Joyce.

Indeed, Joyce thought Nanami would try to recover her balance. Nanami was rushing forward at full speed when she suddenly wore a cute and confused expression, quickly replaced by one of pain as Joyce punched her between the eyes and cut her forehead. The dark-skinned girl stumbled back in a daze as she was left open.

Joyce wasn't having any trouble at getting the upper hand, so she decided to get more loosely, also in order to make use of more MMA movements possible: In order to break Nanami's balance, Joyce threw a low kick, aiming at her legs.

Nanami was hurting bad due to Joyce's blows. However the brunette's advantage wouldn't last as Joyce seemed to get loose with her movements and aim a kick at Nanami's leg. The dark-skinned girl may be in pain but she'd been hurt worse, Nanami showed off her skill with counters when she grabbed Joyce's leg and began spinning her, attempting to throw the brunette against the ropes.
