The Golden Girl meets Helen Andronike

Today was a rough day for Emma. She had just exited the hospital to see her teammate (and crush) Christina Perez, who had a beatdown backstage after her match with Helena Andronike. There was a youtube video about the incident, and despite that, The Golden Girl did her best to cheer her up by stating that the loss didn't count in her official record, but Christina wanted some peace to herself. Emma could tell she was fuming with anger, and so she decided to leave and let Christina give her alone time.

With a sigh, she decided to head to the gym...and not the Iron Titan's gym as it was busy being remodeled. When she entered the gym, she immediately dropped her duffel bag, and to her surprise, the woman who had just beaten up Christina was In the same gym she was in.

'Helena! Well, ain't this a coincidence!!' Emma was freaked out and tried not to make as much noise as she could; however, her clumsiness got the best of her as she tripped on her duffel bag that she dropped and landed on a rack of dumbells. Luckily for her, none of the heavyweights landed on her, but she hit her ass pretty hard as she groaned.

"Ahh! Damn it, why am I so clumsy!?"

Helen Andronike was incredibly sore. She was coming off of both a bar fight and a best 2 out of 3 falls with her newfound rival Christina Perez. While Helen got the better of Christina in the bar fight, she still took a beating in that and the earlier match, which ended in a draw. Helen went to the gym for stretching and yoga and some light free weight exercises to limber herself up.

While she was goblet squatting with a light weight she heard a commotion and a cry of surprise. Helen looked and saw a blonde haired woman had tripped over her bag and fallen on the weight. Helen chuckled a bit and walked over to her.

"Careful now. Injuries can come from anywhere. Especially training," she said in a posh London accent (because her English tutor was from there.) Helen extended her hand to the woman.

When Helena walked over to her, Emma froze like a deer in headlights as the taller woman offered her hand for support as the Canadian happily took. As Emma got up, she dusted her gym outfit, consisting of a yellow sports top with black leggings and athletic shoes.

"Oh, thank you so much..." she would bow politely to Helen.

"Umm...hello there, my name is Emma Leblanc..., and I know who you are because well...uggghh...you beat up my teammate...you know...the woman you just had a match with...we both train together..." Emma decided to reveal who she was as she didn't have anything to hide.

At first she didn't know how to handle being bowed to. She awkwardly bowed back as she heard Emma reveal her connection to Christina. "Σκατά," Helen muttered under her breath. Her expression hardened. "You here for payback? Am I going to have to fight that bitch's whole gym now?" she asked, eyeing Emma suspiciously.

"What? No! I'm not here for payback...I just well...I was coming here to exercise since the gym I train in is busy getting remodeled...it just so happened by coincidence that you are in this gym with me...I swear it is all!" Emma tried to calm Helen down as she was fearful of the stares she was giving her.

She looked away from the gaze of Helen. The Spartan could tell she was nervous just being close to her.

"Umm, listen...I don't hold any grudges towards you...I understand Christina can get on your nerves, but that's just her fiery competitive nature...when I saw you two wrestle...you were both amazing..." she looked down to the floor. "And I feel like I have a lot of catching up to do...I may not be at the same level as Christina, but...after seeing you wrestle, I gotta know how I would fare against you...so...would you...be my next opponent for my next match...please?" She begged and bowed politely again.

Helen raised an eyebrow at Emma's explanation for their encounter and thought it was reasonable enough. She did take some entertainment in Emma being flustered.

"I'd say she's got something more going on in her head than a fiery competitive spirit, which is saying coming from someone as short tempered as me. But yes, it was an amazing match," Helen preened, "that I won in the tie breaker. Despite it being on fucking YouTube and not TV."

"Why are you so nervous?" Helen asked in response to Emma's request.

"Yeah...amazing...especially Christina..." Emma was a little lost in thought before Helen asked her what made her so nervous as she was flustered.

"What do you mean!?" She shook her head, trying to shake off her blushing face. "I'm not nervous...not nervous at all! Hahahaha," she nervously laughed as she tried to avert the conversation back to the match.

"So...umm...you accept my challenge?" She asked, hoping Helen had a short-term memory.

"She looked amazing when she lost, but clearly it was amazing because of me. I mean..."

Helen looked at a flustered Emma and a creeping suspicion came over her. "Wait. Are you and her..." She asked while making a scissors motion with her two hands.

"Ahh...n...n...no...although...i...I...I wish..." the more she thinks about Christina, the more flustered she gets as she shakes her head, desperately trying to change the subject.

"Nevermind! Do you accept my challenge or what? A best 2 out of 3 matches next week!" She pouted cutely like a child.

Helen found Emma's denial was vague and unconvincing. She paused and took in all the opportunities this presented her. Destroying Emma would build hype for her eventual rematch with Christina. The crowd getting into the rivalry would likely lead to a push for all involved (especially Helen). Also beating Christina's training partner would mess with her head, especially if they were... close. And maybe if Christina got laid she'd be lose some of her rage steam that rivaled her own
Helen smiled.

"You do like her! You're so adorable! Okay I'm going to help you. Well I'm going to do what's best for me and it will benefit you too. Play your cards right and your odds of winning Christina's heart or legs go up. I accept your challenge," Helen said to Emma in a hushed tone.
