The Young Lioness Cup, Opening Round: Tanner del Rio vs. Hikari Morizumi

Hikari is still struggling to escape the submission hold. Gritting her teeth as anger is just pulsing in her body at the nerve of someone like Tanner who is cheating to help her win this match up, something like that just makes her blood boil as she wasn't even able to get going at the beginning of the match due to the dirty cheap shot.

As she is rolled over onto her back and an arm wrapped around her neck choking her, letting out a gag like cough as she can feel the air being choked out of her body as she struggles and flails around a bit... before calming down and planning on getting out of the hold before passing out from the choke.

Doing something that she even feels too much like a heel wrestler would do. Hikari reaches back since her arms are still free, reaching back feeling around for Tanner's face... before raking her nails in the wild woman's eyes, hoping that it may be enough to force her opponent to let go of the choke around her neck.

"Nap time!" Tanner continued to lock in the choke hold, hoping to earn a quick debut win over her opponent in this first match of hers in the Young Lioness Cup. But it appeared that was not to be, as two well-manicured claws came up and shredded away at Tanner! Sharp streaks of stinging pain slashed across her face, leaving angry red trails in their wake! "GAAAH!" She released the hold, forcefully shoving Hikari away before rolling away in agony. Her own hands moved to cover up the welted skin, rubbing desperately to soothe away the pain. "The fuck was that for, bitch?" Her hypocritical screeching was muffled beneath her palms, though anyone who heard would have been able to pick out her seething rage.

Had she a moment to think, Tanner would have been surprised at the move, maybe even a little impressed. Though she hadn't known Hikari for long, the long-haired girl always seemed to be on the straight-and-narrow in class. Not the type to pull out the claws in the middle of a match. As it stood, though, Tanner was far more angry than she was impressed. "FUCK YOU!" She continued to writhe in pain on the canvas, thankful that her eyes didn't seem to be injured.

Letting out a loud coughing like gag as soon as her opponent let go of her neck. Hikari would roll over clutching her neck and messaging it gently with her hand, even hearing hear loud angry curses coming from Tanner.

Letting out a small chuckle like cough before getting to her feet, still rubbing her neck and throat with her hand as she stares at Tanner, who is still covering her eyes with her hands. Walking forward and cracking her knuckles with her hands as she reaches down, grabbing both of her opponent's legs with her hands. 'Hope you enjoy going for a ride, you cheater,' she mocks. Letting out a grunt as she starts to spin around still holding on tightly to her opponent legs, spinning Tanner like a top for five full spins... before letting go of her legs and tosses her to the side before stumbling backwards to the ring ropes due to being dizzy.

Tanner was wounded. The band she kept around her eyes tore away, tattered like a flag after battle. Red-hot lines turned to burgundy in the seconds following Hikari's sudden assault. She hardly had time to mourn the slashes, as her legs were quickly taken up by her foe! And as Hikari spun around, Tanner found herself lifted off the mat like a helicopter's blades!

"WhooOOooOOoaHH!" A comically stunned scream came from Tanner's often-uncouth mouth, raising titters throughout the crowd. Centripetal force gave way to momentum, and the orbital stability that Tanner clung to so dearly was lost. She flew towards the side of the ring, bouncing like a stone on placid water before landing halfway out of the squared circle.

"Fweeh..." The collision hardly hurt, but it was certainly disorienting. If her eyes could have turned into anime-like spirals, they would have. Her pupils swam inside her eyeballs, and her vision swam inside her mind's eye. She didn't even have the presence of mind and body to pull herself fully into the ring! However Hikari would follow up, Tanner would not have a snowball's chance of seeing it.

Rubbing and massaging her head after spinning her opponent around like a top. Hikari would cover her mouth as she stumble away from the ropes and goes over to where Tanner is laying on the mat.

Smirking cause she has another move that is considered old school, but she is going to enjoy making her opponent lose her mind or get dizzy even more... Which ever comes first as she reaches down and grabs the other woman by her green hair.

Lifting her up to her feet, Hikari would turn her opponent around before lifting her up to her shoulders in a torture rack like position. Letting out another loud Scream 'Let it RIP' as she starts to spin around again in place, even doing it with no hands, showing off her strength and power before chucking Tanner off of her back and to the canvas again.

Tanner's pupils weren't any closer to stilling themselves as she was summarily yanked up by her hair! She was just conscious enough to notice the pain stabbing at her roots, but not focused enough to do anything about it. "Guuuh..." She groaned as Hikari lifted her up without a fuss.

Then Tanner found herself spun around some more, which only frazzled her mind even more! And once again, she was unceremoniously tossed aside. The ring floor shuddered with the impact of Tanner's weight falling more than five feet onto the ground. She'd just received a crash course as to why her opponent was a Beyblade for more reasons than just her hair -- and gotten ragdolled for her trouble!

After spinning her opponent around on her shoulders before tossing her away, Hikari world was spinning as she would slump down to her knees to stop that spinning sense of feeling.

She is going to be sick even to the point she takes her mouth guard out of her mouth and takes a few breaths to calm herself before placing the guard right back inside her mouth, getting to her feet stumbling a bit as she reaches down and grabbing the green hair woman by her hair again, winding up her right arm... before slamming it right into Tanner face with an European uppercut.

Hikari spun and spun and spun, dizzying Tanner before hitting her with a pair of disorienting throws. The result was a nearly-limp Tanner, shuddering and groaning under the pain that coursed through her body. She dizzily palmed the canvas, pushing up to rise to a single shaky knee.

She couldn't fully rise, but that didn't matter, as Hikari was quick to help her finish the job. Tanner found herself dragged to her feet by the hair, wincing as her muscles were forced to support her far before they were ready to. "Fuck... YOUAAAH!" Her defiant curse was cut off by a hard uppercut, and Tanner flopped back once more! The crowd cheered the fall of the developmental program's biggest cheat, though Tanner didn't hear it. She was far too busy counting the stars spinning around her field of vision.

Seeing her opponent flop to the canvas again from taking the uppercut to the face. Hikari is on a roll right now as she pumps her fist to the roar of the crowd behind her, as she would flex and holds up her right arm as she plans to go for the big finish to end the match right here and now.

Reaching down and grabbing her opponent by the hair, lifting her to her feet, facing away from her. Grabbing Tanner arm and wraps it around the woman's own waistline before turning her around and lunges forward going for her finisher Trick Roulette( Ripcord High Knee) right at the cheater face, hoping to knock the green hair woman out cold to win the match and get herself a good start in the cup tournament.

Pinpricks of tightness pulled at her scalp as she was dragged up by the hair. A pull at her waist and wrist came next, and Tanner locked eyes briefly with her foe. Their knee raised, poised to strike. Tanner saw what was coming from a mile away; how couldn't she, as an avid street fighter? The telegraphed strike, perfectly flawed as many of the Young Lionesses' moves were, would be easy to dodge... But the Wild Child had a plan.

Tanner flinched just in time to avoid the blow. "GRAH!" Still, she threw herself back, grunting as if she'd gotten grazed! As she left the ground, she thrust her legs out -- ostensibly in pain, but Hikari would quickly feel the true intent: An underhanded dropkick right to her crotch! At the same time, Tanner held on to Hikari's grip, hoping to pull the wounded woman down with an arm drag!

It was simple embellishment, or perhaps a flop to some. Only Hikari would know that her knee didn't connect. The rest of the PPV audience, including the referee, would hopefully be none the wiser, assuming that Tanner's low blow was a bad accident! That was the intent: To disguise what would ordinarily earn her the ire of the LAW faithful, delivering a dirty hit and getting away scot-free!
