Clara Gaster vs Wisteria Khan - Standing at the Apex!

Wisteria lowered her center of gravity and planted herself firmly in the ring, avoiding Clara lifting her leg to work it over further! Instead, Wisteria would grab at Clara's waist, before tossing her like sack away from her!

"AAAAUH!!!", the Brit cried out in pain, trying to quickly get back to her legs before Wisteria followed up her attack!

Clara had gotten the drop on Sheena right off the bat, and the youngest Akan had nearly paid for it. She knew going into this that the Shadow Lord was an opponent she couldn't afford to make many mistakes against. Well if she wanted to win at least. And she definitely wanted to win.

So when the Brit tried to go for her leg again Sheena was prepared this time, spreading her center of gravity and tossing the smaller woman away from her. Turning immediately upon doing so Sheena would smirk softly seeing Clara get up quickly. Evidently Clara was at least taking the purple haired girl seriously.

Keeping her gaze focused on Clara the younger wrestler would roll her shoulders as she walked in a line around the lightweight, similar to a lion stalking its prey. "You may want to think up a few more surprises." Sheena said softly while raising her hands up and giving a 'come at me' gesture.

Clara groaned as she got back to all fours, with Wisteria taunting her, the Brit groaning in response as she drove Clara to get up faster. In a match like this, she couldn't rely on pure strength and skill...she had to be tricky around the violet wrestler!

Slowly, she approached Wisteria...trying to motion for a test of strength...

...which, if she took the bait, Clara would attempt to twist at her foe's arm with a Wristlock, trying to quickly get behind Wisteria while still having her hold on her arm, to transition into a Hammerlock!

Sheena watched and waited patiently as Clara slowly but surely picked herself up off the mat. Not necessarily out of fair sportsmanship mind you. That had to be thrown out of the window by pure necessity. No it was just more tactically sound to let Clara get up and come to her so that Sheena could control the pace of things. It all just came down to how Clara responded.

'A test of strength?' Sheena thought in surprise as she saw the newly risen Brit's response. It wasn't what she was expecting, and it made her suspicious. After all Clara was an experienced grappler who knew she was outmatched in size and strength. So why opt into such a gamble?

'Uness she has a trick up her sleeve.' Sheena thought with narrowed eyes as she wearily accepted Clara's test of strength only to have her suspicions proven correct when Clara twisted her wrist and twisted around to lock in a hammer lock! "Gah!" Sheena hissed out in pain as she jerk and moved about, knowing she couldn't let Clara take advantage of her in this position.

"Gr... ya know.. Two can play at this game!" Sheena said softly over her shoulder so just Clara would hear her. As she did so Sheena would raise her leg up before slamming it down, attempting to stomp HARD on Clara's foot! If it was successful Sheena would try to use the chance to twist out of Clara's grasp and reverse the grip! If she was successful Sheena would attempt to turn and Irish whip Clara to the ropes!

Although Clara tried to outskill Wisteria, the violet haired woman also had plenty of that behind her.

”GYAAH!!!”

Stomping on her foot, Wisteria would force Clara to relax her grip, the Brit trying to move away…only for Sheena to maintain the grip on Clara’s arm and send her into the ropes!

Rebounding, Clara went by instinct, trying to Clothesline the bigger woman off her feet!

Clara was definitely living up to her reputation of technical mastery so far in this match. But Sheena was keen to build her own reputation up in the process by fighting back against her opponent with every she had.

Including stomping on a foot to force the former Shadow Lord into releasing her grip. So now freed from her opponent Sheena would turn and whip Clara into the ropes causing her to rebound right back at her!

As she did so Sheena would charge forward, raising her arm up to go for a clothesline aimed dead center for her chest! However much to Sheena's surprise the Brit had almost the same idea as her, raising her arm up for a clothesline of her own that ended up colliding right with Sheena's chest in the same moment that Sheena's hit Clara's!

"Gah!" Yelling in pain Sheena would fall onto her back, holding her chest in pain from the impact!

The two women would dash at each other, and collide with their forearms to each other’s chests at the same time!

”MGHH!!!”

Clara went down harder than Sheena. Given the relative newbie’s physical strength, this wasn’t a surprise…but, Clara had to work to inflicting pain on Sheena’s limbs.

Instead of trying to push back up to her feet, Clara would try to grab onto Wisteria’s leg as she did the same, trying to keep her in place…

…and, if successful, would twist her limb to toss her onto her back with Dragon Screw Leg Whip!

Sheena grunted as she fell down to the mat as a result of her and Clara having the same idea for a move at the same time. Thankfully she had only fallen to her but as a result of her greater height and strength. Looking over she saw Clara was worse off, something that gave the rookie hope as she tried to stand up.

...Only to find that her leg was caught by her opponent! "Wha?" Gasping in shock Sheena was helpless when Clara pulled her leg sending the girl down to the mat! "Gah!" She grunted as she hit the mat, immediately trying to roll away before her opponent could capitalize!

WIsteria tried to roll away...and Clara knew that she couldn't let her rival roll too far to the point of being out of the ring. The moment the fight went to ringside, it might've been over. Clara's code of no weapons was still in effect. She wasn't going to use anything, not a chair or a kendo stick, against her foe. Slamming people or bumping them with tables and ladders were one thing...but the rest? Out of question.

And she knew from her match with Chika that Wisteria didn't hold the same view on hardcore bouts. Nor should've she. But this was why Clara was so terrified of this match type. Her opponent could inact any sort of violence on her, anything short of killing or injuring her...and Clara couldn't go through with this.

She quickly caught up to Sheena and desperately grabbed at her leg!

This was the same leg that she whipped...and held in a hold, earlier, and Clara quickly tried to apply an Ankle Lock to it to try and damage her rivals limb further!

Sheena had just managed to escape from Clara's clutches after being brought down to the mat by the Brit's dragon screw.... Or so she thought. But as she attempt to roll away Sheena's eyes would widen as she felt her leg grabbed and lifted up by the Shadow Lord.

'Shit!' Sheena thought to herself, knowing how bad this position was for her to potentially deal with as she immediately began clawing at the mat. "Agh!" Shouting in pain as her ankle was twisted in the brutal ankle lock Sheena knew she couldn't let this persist for long, after all this was her leg that was already damaged before hand, she couldn't Clara do even more to it!

So snapping her other leg upward Sheena would try driving her free foot into the girl's hands, kicking at them to try and force Clara to let go!

Depending on how successful this was then Sheen would try and push herself up with her hands, getting some leverage for herself in the process! If she did so then Sheena would try and pull Clara in with her captive leg before pushing both feet, out, trying to kick Clara in the face and chest if she was able!
