LAW Apex. The grand event in which Selket could finally achieve the greatest prize of all. The LAW Openweight World Title. That had been her reason for vying for the Heavyweight Championship and Astrid Ostberg. So she could use the status as a champion to instantly contend for the openweight title. But... not all plans went as one would wish. Despite her best efforts she had fell short of the heavyweight title, Astrid managing to survive and retain her title. Even if the title had slipped from her fingers however the match itself had at least serves some purpose. After all with her status as a Number One Contender and having a pay per view match under her belt that at least meant that Selket would only have to complete one qualifier match in order to go to Apex. Something she still felt was beneath her, but she would at least accept it over three or worse yet four matches.
Luckily finding an opponent wasn't difficult. Management was quick to do so, pitting her against a woman Selket hadn't heard much of, but apparently was quite skilled in her own right. Another heavyweight Vera Sapphire was apparently seen as a rising star in the division, one people had an eye on and were quite eager to see against the former and greatest challenger to Astrid and her title. At least in Selket's position. But most of that was just online speculation that was part of Selket's research. But for her it was just another match, and another girl she would have to break in order to achieve her goals. So walking to the guerilla position she would snap her fingers to the attendants who quickly went about starting her entrance as she walked through the curtains.
The lights would go off as a new entrance song would begin playing for the fans. Since her loss to Astrid this past Summer Selket wanted nothing to do with what heralded her to that match, so she made sure to get a new song that she felt better suited the future champion. Luckily she had found one, and it was perfectly suited to her.

Making it to the ring she would climb up the steps and then the outside of the corner. Performing a newer entrance action she would wrap her legs around the top of the corner before dropping down the front side of the corner, performing a spider pose as she held her arms, out, admittedly earning a pop from the crowds before she undid her legs from the corner and easily cartwheeled into the ring, earning another pop for her gymnastic skills before strutted to her corner and hopped up, resting her legs against the ropes, lounging lazily while waiting for her opponent to come down.
